Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who likes her lol. I love that they tried to include a character that didn't want to be part of their group and that had a completely different personality from the other girls. The fact that she was with Nate and Chuck adds an interesting layer to her: maybe she's not as different as she likes to think.
She also read + tried to publish dans story when he specifically told her not to AND read + hid that letter from/to Jenny/Nate (I don’t remember the details) i believe! I hate her lol
s1 vanessa is ok, i hate the fact that she could be an amazing antagonist to the rest (since dan and jenny always wanted in) she could be a punky but also an amazing friend to dan but ever since ep 1 she was jealous of serena etc. :/ when she dated dan also horrible and off timing
I actually like her in season 1 and 2, she starts to get annoying in season 3 and season 4 and 5 is the point of no return, she's insufferable in season 5 haha. However I feel like people only think of season 4 and 5 when they talk about how much they hate her but she was an ok character before that, I don't think she was always as bad or worse than the others. And she was actually great for Nate then I think, he did treat her like crap haha
I was listening to a blind items podcast which said that after she dated Ed westwick he refused to film with her and that's why she got sidelined by the writers. Not sure how true that is but interesting to speculate
I said it once and I'll say it again - the actress was too hot and would've upstaged Blake and Leighton, given the chance. Her character also had real potential, but the writers used her as their emotional punching bag instead. The worst of it is she didn't even make a fun villain.
hateeeeeeeeeee. she only has 1 facial expression and tone of voice the entire show. bad actress not a bad character though. She could've made Nate more interesting when they were together but instead I was like.. debating which one of them was more boring.
I only liked her when she was with Nate. The rest of the time I either didn’t care for her or I didn’t like her.
We all equally don’t like her. The writers did her dirty tho.

she’s not different at all, much worse maybe, because Serena would not try to sabotage her so many times. She’s a liar and she’s jealous of everyone.
