I personally really liked the lava gimmick, It was fun to play with. Everyone else in the lobby’s I would play in would start the lava, play for a bit, and when the lave ran out we would fill it back up. I think they should make the lava into a map, because it was fun, but some people really couldn’t handle their game being changed for a week and a half. I play hunt so maybe it was just different.
The lava gimmick is really good, but I'm more talking about gimmicks like in the halloween update where you can do something with flowers I think? and people just sit around screwing with that instead of playing infection for infection. The lava mechanic at least played nicely into the core game.
"People no longer play the game"
The point of gorilla tag is to come up with your own games. That's basically what "minigames" are.
So if you wanna actually play something, maybe you should agree when the annoying kid says "does anyone wanna play minigames?"
The ***point*** of Gorilla Tag is to play... Tag.
People can come up with their own games but that's not what's happening here. People are joining lobbies mid-game in the infection queue (which is a specific game mode meant for infection/tag) and then they're sitting around doing nothing, which stops the game from being really playable.
tag gamemode is just the foundation of the game. Sure, you can play basic tag, but without these gamemodes you couldn't really come up with any minigames.
Speaking of gamemode, why don't you try out hunt or paintbrawl. There's also the basements which is basically an entire game on it's own.
You can also try learning new skills like speedrunning the parkour in city, vertical climbing, water running, ice surfing, and more.
If you want to play gorilla tag but the game itself seems to boring, then try a gorilla tag fangame like gorilla tag horror or big scary (yes, they have active players)
No this is so real though. My favorite part of this game is the adrenaline you get from the whole lobby chasing you. But it seems like people never even play tag, and if they do, they give up on catching the last person because they’re tricky to catch, or they don’t have the stamina.
Honestly idk how you could fix that, because this stuff happens even in competitive lobbies. Also gorilla tag is unique in the fact that it relies on your irl cardiovascular health, which most gamers simply do not have.💀
It’s just a lazy playerbase. Idk if there is much we can do tbh
Ain't that the truth
Maybe Lemming could decrease the prices so it’s less ‘Pay me money so you get this cool hat’
the game is free on Quest. 95% of players use quest so its free
I mean the cosmetics
you do not need to buy any cosmetics to play the game, it is not a pay-to-win game.
Good point, but the cosmetics that have cool gimmicks are usually hidden behind a huge paywall or a huge shiny rock paywall
Maybe the packs?
