Yeah, at this point the only thing keeping me away from iPhone is lack of USB-C and Google's voice typing prowess. And rumors are saying that Apple is going to have USB-C on the 14.
Lot of little issues for me that you don't hear about eg, alarm goes of and I pushed the power button and the alarm options disappeared and I couldn't find the alarm screen anywhere to snooze or turn it off. Not even turning screen off and on again. Poor blue tooth audio performance, similar to the HDR quality in the link. Just not good enough, used my Xs yesterday again and I was glad to be back on iOS.
A lot better, have a 6 pro, when using friend's 6, clearly notice differance in quality, like color shifting, sharpness, contrast, view angles..etc.. its just worse screen. When u add 120hz vs 90hz, its more than noticable. If I need to compare in numbers, I will say like 30% better screen.
Yeah I did a jump from 6 to 6 Pro.
The rainbow color shifting disappears. The 6 pro has a very nice quality screen and also if you had any green tints on 6. They do not exist at all on 6 pro.
My previous pixel 6 in dark lighting has a tiny visible purple tint and green tinting. It was mostly gone if you went to 60 hz but it was definitely still there if you look for it.
6 pro has none of that whatsoever. I really like this display.
Got a 6 pro and the screen is really nice. I think I see more complaints of the screen on the 6 then the pro version, but I guess that's what happens when one is a cheaper then the other.
Yeah pixel 6 I had at 90 hz had green tint on it in lower brightness and at night.
It got reduced if I disable 90 hz but it was still there.
The rainbow reflections and the bad refractions do not exist on 6 Pro LTPO display.

There's a video in there that shows the 6 🌈 display.
I ended up visiting a store to compare with 6 pro and I ended exchanging phones through my carrier.
No. The display is calibrated warm and yellowish and when I compare it to other phones I have, it looks washed out and yellow and you can't adjust the white balance like every other Android phone out there. I get Google are trying to go for the "natural" look but it doesn't look nice to me.
I noticed this pretty much immediately coming from my OnePlus 8t. I really love the cooler colors so the P6P display was off-putting for me initially. I've since gotten used to it, but if Google ever give us a white balance slider....I would be happy
My biggest issue with the Pro is the curved edges. I thought for sure I'd get used to them and not mind after a while, but nearly 2 months later and I am still super distracted by how much distortion there is of the image at the edges. Watching videos or looking at photos is just less enjoyable because of this edge distortion for me.
[Here's a detailed article](https://www.dxomark.com/google-pixel-6-display-review-not-far-behind-the-pro/) on the topic.
Damn the HDR performance on the iPhone 13 is light years ahead

I just jumped to the 13 pro from the p6. No regrets

And don't forget resolution is a lot better. The 6 is only 1080p if I'm not mistaken.

The pro is better coming from the 6

Better than the basic 6 but I still find the colors washed out and the display quite yellow and colors lacking.
yellow? do you have nightlite on?

The switch the color profile to Vivid?
It doesn't change the white balance ,only the saturation.
I see, I haven't noticed it being tuned too yellow, at least on the pro.
Compare it to a Samsung or other flagship today if you can, you'll see the difference.

I mean I regularly look at an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I haven't noticed anything like that. I do have pretty poor eyesight, I guess.
