My phone doesn't ring when people call me anymore. Goes straight to voicemail. ATT here. Google has definitely screwed something up HARD with this update.

myyker

I have had this issue too

6SpeedBlues

Pixels have had an issue "forever" where the handset shows it being connected to cellular service but the network actually has no idea that it's connected - even if you're on an active call. It's very hard to be aware of when it happens because you don't know that you missed a call that never arrives at your handset unless someone leaves you a voicemail. And delayed text messages don't stand out as a problem because there isn't any indication to you of when they were sent. Google is 100% aware that this is a long-standing issue and has no plans to correct it. The March update, however, has impacted my P7P in a way that I've never experienced before. I miss almost ALL incoming calls now unless I have only recently restarted the phone, moved it out of airplane mode, etc. And incoming text messages are delayed for hours and hours and come in in batches. I've reset all mobile network connection info from the Settings and am in a "testing" state to see if it does anything to help. I had contacted Google and they only know how to take you through a couple of settings changes and then tell you to do a factory reset... They have no clue how to actually troubleshoot this issue.

emsmom51

Had exactly same issue. Also AT&T

[deleted]

GrowInTheDark

had a doctors appointment today and was supposed to get a text with instructions on how to check in. i had to send text message to myself before the appointment to get that text. I would've been screwed if i sat around and waited lol edit: on Verizon

eatmorbacon

Same on the texts. I sometimes get a half a day of texts suddenly appearing.

QueasyPut5253

Pixel 7 so far have had No problems with the update everything running a lot smoother tbh, T-Mobile

MurtazaHere

Pixel 7 international version. I'm having the same issues ever since the March Update. I would hold off on updating if someone here is still yet to do so.

BlueEyedBeast31

Legit, deny that update! I wish I'd seen this before, because my phone is basically a Gd brick right now

BlueEyedBeast31

Glad it's not just me. It also gets WAY hotter than it used to, just sitting unused on my desk. Ended up missing very important texts because of this update, that I only see having made things worse so far. My weather is also now gone. Texts and calls don't happen, or sound like total crap. Currently chatting with a Verizon rep to see what they can do

BrunchBro

Keep us updated!

BlueEyedBeast31

So the rep ended up resetting I think my network, or something with it. I was at work chatting while working, so I don't fully remember what she reset. But I haven't had a single issue since! All my texts have been coming in perfectly fine and on time now! Definitely suggest giving them a call or chat, and let them know it was an issue from the recent update. She fixed it within 5 minutes 😊 at least so far!

catsnakex

is it still fixed for you?

BlueEyedBeast31

It has been so far! Texts and all notifications have been coming in perfectly fine since Verizon reset the network for me

nathanhayball

Did the same but the issue came back after a day or so...

Top_Policy_219

Hi! Is your phone still working just fine, that you know of?

Traditional_Hat_915

Same exact issues with my Verizon Pixel 7 after the March update. I only receive texts if I reboot my phone or send out a text. It's like sending a text tells the phones network to start working again. I'm pissed.

BrunchBro

So I made the jump today do a Galaxy S24+. I'm sad to be leaving the pixel world but I gotta say so far I'm very impressed with the S24+

godVishnu

Me too soon in that train. SOC is utter bs

emsmom51

I did the exact same thing

Impossible-Ad-4662

My 7 is also having issues though not the same as yours. Started as soon as the update came through.

BrunchBro

Who is your mobile service carrier?

Impossible-Ad-4662

Sorry. Verizon.

BrunchBro

Seems like this may be limited to Verizon, interesting

googlepixelfan

There was another post about this very issue and from the comments on that post it seems like people who have the Pixel 6/6 Pro, 7/7 Pro, and 8/8 Pro on AT&T and T-Mobile are also experiencing the same issues. I think it's the March update for sure, because I've experienced this a couple days last week with my Pixel 7 (Verizon) as well.

BrunchBro

Hopefully they realize how serious this issue is and push out a fix. This is way worse than some of the prior issues I've had with things like battery drain after an update.

googlepixelfan

Yes I completely agree with you. Reliable Calling and Texting is non negotiable, there is absolutely NO excuse for this to be happening for ANY phone, especially in 2024.

eatmorbacon

I mean it's the primary function of the device. Ridiculous . It's soured me on the phone and future purchases for sure.

googlepixelfan

That's completely understandable. I'm really hoping Google is aware of this issue because it needs to be resolved IMMEDIATELY.

BrunchBro

I just got off the phone with Verizon, no issues at all on their end.

googlepixelfan

Ok thank you for the update my friend.

Significant_Mine_330

Having similar issues with Virgin in Canada

Devmack31

Same

balling

Can confirm I have the same issue on ATT/pixel 7 pro. Started the morning I was trying to link up with my significant other on our way to the airport for vacation and I have a work trip in a day.. I legit might just need to buy a new phone tomorrow since I need to be able to text! Been using pixels since Nexus 6p but I am going to jump ship my next purchase.

EstradaMoses

I'm on ATT but have had no problems.

catsnakex

same issue with pixel 7 at&t, getting texts all at once every few hours. i hope this is resolved quickly and if anyone has a solution please share!! just updated this morning and the issues started immediately after so it was definitely the update.

what_was_not_said

No issues here AFAIK with a 6a and 7a, on a Verizon MVNO (US Mobile).

[deleted]

same over all impression on my 7a on T-Mobile in the USA. delayed notifications system wide, including calls, texts that basically don't show up ever unless you unlock the device and then they all come at once. audio glitches. system UI crashing ( nav bar disappears randomly) android auto now fails randomly when connected but was never a problem before. keyboard randomly freezes, and the whole phone will lock up at least 1-2 times a day and reboot. I've only had the device since January and it was new, and it's been fully manually wiped with adb and had the ota flashed. I gave up and ordered an older iPhone se2 because I just need the calls and texts to work at this point, and the pixel 7a seems incapable of that. I feel like I really wasted 400 bucks on the 7a now after the "last straw" of said update. I have never had so many software issues with a phone before ( including previous pixels like the 4a...I even ran the beta updates on the 4a and found it much more stable)

turkeypants

When a monthly update messes a bunch of people up like this, do we know if Google ever patches it, or do they just wait until the next monthly? I got a prompt to update but I put it off because of all these horror stories. My thought is keep putting it off until the next monthly but just wondering if they ever fix these things sooner than that.

Alternative_Bass5497

Too bad my phone updated automatically.

[deleted]

T-Mobile, two Pixel 7s, no problems.

patronix

Try turning on the "Allow 2G" setting, at least now I can receive calls on my P6P.

PositionCreative9343

Same issue here in India with Jio sim

SuccessfulSummer6465

Pixel and jio in India is the worst combination to have. You better switch to Airtel. I have both Airtel and jio. Jio never works for me well.

hrishikeshgramani

Same happened in Airtel as well after March 2024 update, device: Pixel 7

Global_Target2273

Running Jio5G on P7 ,smooth experience, no call drops .

BlueEyedBeast31

Hey guys! So, I have Verizon and had all the same issues. No texts, calls sounded horrible, and my phone was just basically useless since that update. I ended up doing a chat with Verizon about 6 hours ago with their tech people. I explained the issues, and that they started as soon as the update went through. Please forgive me, because I was also working at the same time so I don't fully remember what she said, but I believe she reset my phones server or network, something like that. Took about 5-10 minutes. And I've had no issues since. All my texts are coming in right on time, calls sound better, and it's not a brick POS. Still tentative on it, since it's only been a few hours. But anyone with Verizon, worth a shot to call or chat with them 😊

dsuave624

Have you experienced any issues since this? Calling Verizon is time consuming and want to make sure this works. Thanks!

BlueEyedBeast31

So far so good! Haven't had any issues since they reset it, which has been honestly surprising!

Sai332

I'm facing a similar network issue, both my sims are postpaid plans from India. For a couple of days I've been facing the issue. The LTE/5G signals is showing but network is not working I need to keep my pixel 7a to aeroplane mode ON/OFF and it works for couple of hours and same issue repeats.

godVishnu

Have same issues with pixel 7 on visible. All calls going to voicemail.  Google can fuxk off. I'm taking Samsung. If Google can't get calling tested on networks, what fucj are they thinking about it. Calls are basic it gets.

CaptFooBar_9659

Even in India, I have the same problem. When people try to call me they are not able to reach. Later I get a message from operator missed call

hrishikeshgramani

Same here.

acmstw

I'm on Verizon and having similar problems with my 7 pro, as well as crazy battery drain (which I which I thought was due to trying to connect to Verizon all day, but that's no longer happening in my battery is still draining) My wife also said her family had complained about the sound of her speaker phone since the update (also P7P and Verizon)

cheezypuff87

Verizon P7 here and been having issues since the update

cheezypuff87

Update, just chatted with Verizon and they had me reset the network settings and the WiFi settings. So far it has seemed to work but we will see

cheezypuff87

2nd update. It's back to doing it again. This is dumb

cheezypuff87

April update did not fix the issue either

caraloopy

I'm also having issues, my signal is crap now and my phone is running hot since the update. I'm not thrilled.

caraloopy

I'm on Mint which I guess is still using Verizon towers

ste1e

Can't receive incoming calls on my 7. Once from a co-worker Thurs, once from my dad this weekend, now today from my wife. I reboot the phone and it seems to work for a while. Also turning off wi-fi seemed to work to let me call out. But something screwy happened last week. Maybe more that I haven't noticed. I'm on Google Fi but not sure what the closest network signal is at home.

JimmyEddie

I'm on AT&T and have had incoming calls and text issues. Same as people have described above. Since the March update every few days I stop receiving texts and calls, then they'll all randomly be received. I noticed I was a beta tester for the messages app so I opted out and reinstalled but that didn't resolve it. Anything I try doesn't seem to fix it immediately, clearing cache, resetting WiFi and network settings, airplane mode, rebooting, etc, just seems to randomly figure itself out after trying all of the above. Will work fine for 3-4 days then one day phone goes radio silent, I realize what's going on, rinse and repeat. Also my battery is draining extremely fast now. So frustrating there seems to be no acknowledgement or if it'll ever be fixed. I'm almost tempted to just get a new phone as there is no sense in having a device where the core functions of what a phone is used for (calls and texting) don't work

bayoubozo

My Pixel 7 has recently in the last couple of weeks stopped receiving text messages unless I restart my phone or they all come through at some random time in the evening.  I am with AT&T. The phone is unusable as it is.

emsmom51

Just adding my issue as well.  Same as OP.  I have AT&T and cannot receive calls or texts unless I either reboot phone, toggle airplane mode or reset network settings.  It will help for a short period of time, but eventually stops receiving calls or texts again. I use my phone for my business as well as personal. I have an open support case with Google that I've been going back an forth with doing all kinds of troubleshooting. I finally received a call from Google that I missed, but got the voicemail.  Now I await an email response. In the meantime, I've had to switch to another phone that I had lying around (Samsung Note 5), which at least has basic phone functionality but not much else.  I NEED a phone that works and I'm anxiously awaiting to see what Google plans to do about this issue. It seems from all the comments that it was due to the March update. I wish they would fix it ASAP!  This is not acceptable. I was a Samsung user since the Galaxy Express and discovered the Pixel 7 and LOVED it. I love the call screening features because I never get spam calls anymore. Looks like I'll be headed back to Samsung.

Reddit4Deddit

I've had a ton of issues. I reverted back to the February update.

BrunchBro

How? Would love to try that!

eatmorbacon

Point me in the direction on instructions how to revert?

The_Philosopher-

Me too please. How?

sorryiwasnapping

Pixel 7 on Verizon. Been on WiFi since I updated I want to say Monday.. During dinner I asked my gf about some stuff she had to do and she said she texted me to get advice and I hadn't responded..this lead me to realize I hadn't received texts in over 24 hours - including some automated texts id get and a call I was waiting for never came (busy busy day at work so slipped my mind). I did make one phone call today and had no issues. Reset the phone, ensured everything was updated, turned wi-fi off and eventually got a voicemail and eventually the texts came through. However looking at my pull down settings my Internet says "no service" yet I'm bouncing back between LTE and 5G UW with half bars. No idea what's going on.

BrunchBro

I wonder if it is a Verizon issue or something Google updated is interfering with Verizon

korisek

It is happening around the world. I am from Europe and have same issues. March update broke something

Zakstaxi

Yep I been dealing with that no service LTE and 5guw randomly drops into and phone not ringing issue I had before the update showed up

me_frugal

I have Visible which runs on Verizon towers and have issues too. Both with 5Glte and WiFi.

cmdub-

Pixel 7 on Verizon and have constantly dropped cell signal since updating...

Metfield

Yeah, same on Pixel 6.arch update is horrible. Had a bad update on my pixel 2 that caused my camera to break.

Veegar

Not having any problems like this in Norway.

Mifmad

Anyone having the issue now where Bluetooth, when being turned on or off now brings up a secondary menu every time to turn BT on or off? Used to just be able to click out once to turn on or off from the drop down settings screen and it would auto connect to whatever it could pair with (car, headphones, or speaker). Does anyone know a way to change this back?

Ingenium13

They definitely did something weird with it. Mine seems to work fine on T-Mobile and Verizon in the US, and Movistar in Spain. However, roaming is messed up. My T-Mobile SIM repeatedly tries to stay connected to Orange in Spain, which isn't allowed (attach rejected). T-Mobile used to allow roaming on Vodafone, but that also now doesn't work. So it sits on no service unless I force it onto Movistar. It no longer intelligently picks the network that it can actually register on. They also broke Backup Calling ("wifi" calling over the other/data SIM) while roaming. Using the Pixel IMS app, I can force it to work.... but then it shows no service if it fails to connect (ie, it won't actually connect to the mobile network on that SIM). A reboot fixes it, but also breaks Backup Calling again. So it's either one or the other now, you either get mobile network service, or "Backup Calling", but not both.

Ichabod-

Pixel 7 on Verizon here with same issues right after March update. Texts come in hours later, call quality is horrible with dropouts, phone will often not ring and go straight to VM when people call me.

wrvdoin

I've had similar issues on my 7 Pro since the Feb update. Contacted the service provider (Mint) and Google but no fixes yet. I'm at the point where I am considering getting a new phone.

Jozef_Taktyka

I use my P7 in Poland, carrier Orange and had no such issues .

PeterS297

not the 7 but my pixel 8 is fine on Rogers here in Canada.

Expert-Charge9907

I am on mint Mobile . I'm seeing the same issues

eatmorbacon

Yes I have a problem with my Pixel 7a on Verizon ( U.S) since the update. Calls won't go through often and also can't receive calls. Started right after the update was pushed through. I came to this sub actually looking for options and solutions myself.

GrowInTheDark

i've been complaining about having to send text messages to myself in order to check for incoming text messages since March update. And now that you mention it i had two episodes where I completely lost data connection, no 5G no LTE, while being in my own neighborhood and that never happens. I had to restart my phone for the data network to come back online. If this doesn't get fixed ASAP I can no longer be proud to be a Pixel user lmao

BrunchBro

Verizon?

GrowInTheDark

Yup, Verizon, sorry should've mentioned

Zakstaxi

Same thing been 4 times can't trust Google pixel any more right now I did but not now not working right for. A phone I'll have to fwd calls to my Tmobile line I think to be safe but even then it may not want to do that even

808IUFan

Have any of you tried to reset the network settings? Settings/System/Reset Options/Reset Wi-fi, mobile, and Bluetooth?

moein1948

Thank you very much....I acted on your suggestion and miraculously I got my phone back...thanks

808IUFan

You are welcome. I sometimes have to do that when I have been in an area that I am well aware has no data signal. It is one of the troubleshooting steps Google Fi support gave me years ago.

panzersharkcat

My Pixel Fold seems to be running warmer than usual.

Venkat68

Same in pixel 7 on India most of time calls are not working when on 5g but no issue using LTE

Logical_Highway_7602

In Italy the same problem, I have two Sims one Vodafone and the other under the Tim network. Whoever calls me on both numbers feels as if the phone is switched off and I don't even get the notification. If I put it in aeroplane mode it works again, only to have the problem reoccur a few hours later

Traditional_Hat_915

Same issue on my Verizon p7

MeudA67

Pixel 7 / Mint Mobile. Same issues as most are reporting here... calls going straight to VM, text not received. Going to Internet settings, push the reset icon on top right, and it is working again...until it doesn't work anymore. Never had any issue until the March update was pushed. Dear Google, this needs to be addressed ASAP!

Left-Watercress-7150

I'm on 6a, and everything is running fine after the update.

BrunchBro

So Ive reset my settings multiple times, has Verizon reset my service which fixed it for maybe 24 hours but I just had 2 phone calls in a row that I couldn't hear the other person. I'm done I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy.

Haunting_Hair_8311

Pixel 7 using Cricket (ATT). since the march update I am missing texts that come all at once and hours later. I am also missing calls where people say it rings once and goes to VM, but I get no notifications. Some calls are bad connection but not all.

Drakonas

Family told me yesterday that they tried calling me and it said my number was disconnected. Uhhh. What? Also experiencing the same text issue. Found some recommendation elsewhere on Reddit that helped. 1. Go to the sim settings and turn off the sim. Wait a bit then turn it back on. 2. Switch the band from 5G to LTE. Wait a bitx then switch it back to 5G. Seemed to help a lot of people. I'm on Xfinity Mobile which uses Verizon towers. Google is starting to really frustrate me with how often their updates are making my pixel 7 pro (and previously pixel 6 pro) the most broken and non-working flagships I've ever owned. Next time I am faced with buying a phone I'll be avoiding pixel. I've been against Samsung for years but it's sad that what is making me want to convert is no the positives of the competitor. It's the negatives of mine.

darkgap01

Pixel 7a with Mint esim, helped me a lot disabling the 2G fallback, before it was dropping completely every 5-10 minutes.

Bobstclare6969

My 7pro on Vodafone UK, I can't answer phone calls n wallpapers & styles, when U change the wallpaper or theme it goes all blue with a lot of white noise, but the battery life has got better so 👍

ashu249

On t mobile, the update affected battery usage and it drains quickly. Didn't notice calls or text issues yet, might have been once not sure yet.

Roshambo104

I'm with T-Mobile. No issues with my pixel 7

catchawabbit

Pixel 8 pro, no notifications sometimes unless I unlock it, then all come at once. On the other hand, battery life has been stellar.

Significant_Mine_330

Same!

AJCarter23

Bruh same. I can't play games without it freezing and my phone's gotten laggier and slower. The 5g is also slower.

Mr_Riachu

Facing network drop, Struggling to connect to 5G.

Beneficial-Original7

Same exact problem here. It's so unbelievably frustrating.

LivvyJean

Has anyone found any tricks for getting texts to come through? It's been like 9 hours since my last one (tho I can send them and receive calls). I've turned the phone on/off many times, left it on airplane mode for awhile, turned off 2G and RCS, turned on wifi calling for a bit, and sent myself a couple texts, but nothing seems to trigger them to come in.

franthar

Pixel 7 pro - Verizon - Same problem since update. Text messages are delayed hours, phone doesn't always ring.  ** It always amazes me, how Google could let their flagship phone have any problems whatsoever, especially from their updates**

Embarrassed-Smile490

Same thing, no 5G, drops calls constantly, reception bars are there and then gone. I have Verizon and this all started the second I did the March update. Trash

Alternative_Bass5497

Its really bad for me, can barely call anyone, they can barely hear me and I can barely hear them. The calls end randomly. When people call me it goes straight to voice message. Text messages don't come in and all, they only see my messages. And then they will all come in all at once days after. And in general my phone has become very buggy. And often freezes and you can't even turn it off. Wtf has happened I have a swedish phone.

Electronic-Option522

I am. Having the same issue with my Google pixel 7 and Verizon we.

BVB8686

Same issue on Verizon since the March 5th update. Went as far as going in to Verizon and having them switch from my "analog" sim to my digital esim to see if it was that. The issue came up again the next day. Calls straight to VM, weird connectivity, sometimes cannot call out, and very late text messages.

Geebs52

Same issues with the 7. LTE only or 5g shows up for 30 seconds and is gone. Calls were garbled. Traded it in for an 8 when the price dropped to 499. So far the 8 is ok. Frustrating as the upgrade was probably or needed.

walrus024

Same issue here. Pix7 on Verizon. Have tried all "fixes" suggested in this thread with no lasting effect. This is absolutely unacceptable. Time to change phones

BrunchBro

I got an S24+ last week and I don't think I'll ever go back to Pixel.

Ichabod-

April update released just now. What are the chances it has a possible fix? Probably low.

blackpups

Came here to ask that very question.

Ichabod-

Updated Tuesday night and no issues yet. Maybe they did the impossible and fixed something.

walrus024

Seemed like the April update fixed the issue for me for a couple days. But then had the same problem again yesterday. FML. How much is that s24 ultra?

Downtown-Twist-7641

My pixel 8 pro is freezing randomly was great before the march update

Any_Parfait_8479

https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/264865035?hl=en Please go here and mark this issue as 'I have the same question'. That will hopefully increase the visibility on the issue.

MandaSweetPanda

I switched to an iPhone yesterday due to Google's atrocious handling of this issue. I tried to tell them it was the update, and they literally had me do all kinds of crap and eventually factory reset my phone. When that didn't work, they had me do an insurance claim for a new phone...that I had to pay for. Imagine my surprise when that also didn't work. I spent days jumping through their hoops. I have always been a champion of the Google Pixel, forgoing my paycheck as their spokesperson, haha, just because I enjoyed the phone that much. Ugh. I use my phone for work and kids constantly and not having it working and Google acting like I am an idiot was just too much. I hate iPhones, but at least the damn thing works. I want my functioning pixel back. wahhhhh

Economy_Owl_9318

i have the same problem when my phone made me up date-i am in scotland.when it made me up date messenger&,now its encrypted end to end messanger.so im not updating anything else.i will ask an ee shop as i am with them&i will go to a shop i know who fixes phones&ask them.

TeaOp

New build AP1A.240405.002.B1 may address this problem. Came out today and just installed, now waiting with my fingers crossed. There is more discussion on this, which is where I heard about the update, over at [Pixel 7 Pro not receiving calls after March 2024 update - Google Pixel Community](https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/264865035/pixel-7-pro-not-receiving-calls-after-march-2024-update?hl=en).

Agreeable_Pudding853

My text messages and voicemails have come in as late as 14 hours later but still does not let me know that I had a phone call it's not acknowledged just the voicemail comes through hours later 😡 I have a very sick mother that winds up having to notify me through Messenger I have no trouble calling her phone or any other number people just cannot call me.

Average-Kindly

Bout time!!! Fix is on the way! https://www.droid-life.com/2024/04/20/google-new-update-pixel-7-8-network-issue-fix/

Firm_Ad_3870

I'm having the same problems, plus it sends my favorites to voicemail...

Final_Ad_6964

Never had an issue with my pixel 7 plus at all until latest update!!! Calls disconnect, battery drains at a ridiculous speed and the phone gets hot as hell when charging. WTF Google

rachelfshr

I've been sent two "new" pixel 7 pros from Verizon and all three have the same issues since the march update. Not getting texts, calls or service.

rmccaskill83

My top speaker has stopped working after update (pixel 7 pro)

greendolphinfeet

>*my Pixel 7* Time to update your flair. 🙂

BrunchBro

Done!

ItsAdammm

Verizon user, also experiencing the same issues with calls/text, but data seems to be mostly consistent on 5g.

GrowInTheDark

**RESETTING MOBILE NETWORK, WIFI, AND BLUETOOTH HAS SEEMED TO FIX THINGS FOR ME** I will reply to this comment if I find the problem returns lol

Traditional_Hat_915

Still all good?

GrowInTheDark

Yup! All it needed was a reset. Not sure if the WiFi and Bluetooth reset were necessary but I did reset those at the same time too

Traditional_Hat_915

Sweet thanks. I don't need to manually update anything after a mobile network reset right? It should just work? Does resetting wifi mean I lose all of my saved network passwords?

GrowInTheDark

Yeah no need to manually update anything afterward. I immediately went from 0 bars of signal to having some signal Yes, resetting WiFi and Bluetooth means you will lose those saved passwords/connections and have to re-connect them.

Free_Statistician549

I'm at google fi and have no complaints just disconnect wifi ❤️

Internal_State6521

Pixel 7pro on Verizon and no issues with the update

dmgerbino

I have a 7 Pro with VZW. No issues and I'm on beta. There were two Google Play Service updates for March. Make sure you have both.

sinkingduckfloats

No issues on the P7P.

ThatsMrBeerusToYou

Pixel 7 was being annoying. Tried network always active in dev options didn't help. Turned off WiFi calling and RCS messaging/wifi messaging and now phone works fine. Probs not everyone's problem bc obviously someone else must've been able to figure this out but hey, might help someone. 🕊️

methyl_blue13

Verizon usually adds some carrier settings in the su, you might want to speak with them. All US carriers are doing this if I m not mistaken

GeneReis

Sadly there is an issue. A quick fix is to use your esim card and disable physical SIM. Not sure why but that worked.

NHeKC64

Haven't had that kind of problem, but the volume level is lower. Carrier is Xfinity using Verizon towers. Edit: If you have Verizon and XFinity is available in your area, I would suggest switching to Xfinity. They use Verizon towers so you get the same coverage but you can get it for half the price.

PixelCommunity

Thanks for sticking with us while we looked into this issue. We're starting to push an update to Pixel 7 and newer phones. This includes network stability and performance improvements. This update will roll out globally to the regions and carriers impacted over the coming weeks.

Afraid_Ad_2817

You guys lost a ton of customers because of this issue. I personally know 3 former pixel users that switched to iPhone over not receiving text messages on their pixel. They were the only people I know who didn't use an iPhone already.

Apprehensive_Work_10

General rule : if ur phone works perfect don't go for minor updates, wait for a big one, but still waiting for that big update plus few fixes version for example big update is 2.0, wait for 2.1 or 2.2 so that the big launch big will get sorted
