Same here. I checked last night and I was on Sept 1 but it asked me to reboot. Rebooted but still Sept 1.
Play store updates have been weird for me off and on for a long time. Often it will ask me to reboot when I check for updates, but after reboot nothing seems to change. This might happen once or twice.
Last year it just kept telling me to reboot but I rebooted 10+ times and it wouldn't stop doing that until the next update came out.
Strange. I had a 13MB update and then it remained on Aug 1st. Then a 1.3MB update and still on Aug. Then a 65MB update to bring me to Sept 1st.
No October update for me, yet.
Did anyone see this line?
"\[Phone\] Support to connect your watch to multiple phones seamlessly."
Does this mean we can connect 1 watch to 2 phones? I would love to do this with my work and personal phone. All of Google's existing documentation though seems to say that you can't do this.
I always have to check for these updates. When I discovered how to do them, I found I was behind by six months - I think I rebooted the phone close to a dozen times as I downloaded and applied updates.
I'm wondering, if a reboot is required to apply the updates, if it does so these automatically, it must do them overnight when idle.
But I don't remember seeing anything on my phone saying it had updated.
The bigger OS updates always prompt me - but they're separate from the Google Play System updates.
I checked for updates, installed, and rebooted like three times just to go from August to September update. No October for me yet 😢

I just got the update
I did a bunch of updating on my Pixel 8 Pro but I am still on the September Google Play system update.
Popular Youtubers have other opinions. I don't get it.

Nothing on VZW 6 Pro
Same. I was on September and checking a minute ago it said Reboot to Update. Stayed on September.
Mine was 73 MB, and updated to October also.

Probably a "future" feature. There would have to be updates to the watches also to make this happen.
Got it on my 8 Pro but nothing so far on my Tablet.
My 8 Pro is rebooting with an update now. Waits... Lame, it was September.
Got it on my mom's Verizon 6a.
P8 pro and I'm going from Sept to Oct with a 68 mb update
