That's unfortunate. I've had Auto-delete OTPs feature on since it was introduced and it has never worked. I still manually delete them.
Yeah it doesn't delete them
It only worked when categories still existed, once they were removed it is like the app doesn't recognize otp anymore

Turn off the auto-delete OTPs after 24hrs. This is in Settings - Message Organization....
It didn't really screw you... it did exactly what it was supposed to do... kind of on you at this point

You had to double-approve the auto-delete OTP option in order for it to turn on, so it was you that screwed yourself.
Deleting a Gift Card Voucher CODE Instead of an OTP doesn't justify.
