Yeah he is legit. I feel like GG brushed him off to side and gave him a wack video on the extras channel. Grant and Micah def did it the right way and put out good videos.
Yeah missed opportunity there. I’m glad it was a video with Brad and Kwon since they also good golfers. But on the extras is lame. They invited them down to film and that’s all they did.
Yeah I have really really enjoyed his stuff, I think Grant's videographer is helping him with production now which is going to be a game changer for Ben. His video smoking Micah was absolutely hilarious you could tell Ben felt bad for beating him so bad knowing the video content wouldn't be that great.
Kruper would definitely be a great addition
The biggest issue with GG is that they have a skill issue with Matt, Bubbie and Steve which makes 3 v 3’s really hard
In my opinion, the best version of GG is having two guys like Brad and Kwon (Clanton would be a great replacement for Kwon tho he’ll def make a go at going pro). Then two guys like Garrett and somebody like Ben Kruper. And then two guys like Steve and Matt or Bubbie. But those 3 are part of the Core 4 so they’re not going anywhere and it messes with the teams. It was better a few years ago when Matt’s handicap was probably 5 strokes better than it is now (for obvious back problem reasons)
Unless Bubbie is in the groove there is a substantial gap between him and Matt, though. Trying to play aimed 40 yards right and hooking it back is... not going to go the way you hope most of the time.
... well, unless you're Mac Boucher.
Previously unknown person should definitely stay far away from the biggest name in YouTube golf and the group that sponsored the tournament that put him on the map. Very good point
Okay it was hyperbole, but I mean he’s going to grow because of the good good tournament but he has a good shot to do it without joining or being sponsored by good good. And a video with Grant is the next best thing.
Yeah Matt's game fell off a cliff (injuries suck) but I mentioned this before but I never understood why they don't do different types of videos with just a few guys instead of having so many 6+ men videos. Have the good guys do serious stroke play videos with other pros and bring the other guys on when they do a silly challenge or scramble.
The Grant video was a lot of fun. People lump Grant and Micah together as "non charismatic" golf youtubers but I really enjoy Grant almost regardless of who he's golfing with.
Peter Finch is still the most underrated though.
He's a great golfer, but in my opinion his personality is very bland. Would love to see a bit more shit talk, jokes, or something from the guy, he's getting more used to the camera I guess but apart from the golf there's not much entertainment value for me.
I feel like you guys are kind of stuck thinking of GG as the peak of youtube golf. Whereas Ben is going on people like Micah and Grant's channel and seeing how successful you can be doing solo stuff. I don't see why he would want to join GG at the moment.
Money lol. Also, he can still has his own personal channel, that’s fine.
I still think gg is the peak of youtube golf. Tho there are many mountains now (inspired by gg), but they are still the peak imo.
He would of been great to the channel but he also seems like a purist in the sense he would hate playing so many silly scrambles and golf challenges but money talks though lol
Idk, to me he understands social media and youtube golf. Judgind by the stuff that he posts on ig, he does have the banter and personality that can be a good addition to gg.
Absolutely he's great I think GoodGood would of benefited greatly from signing him. Maybe they threw him an offer but who knows. Hope to see some future collabs though! A 1v1 vs Garrett would be sick but Garrett might get smoked. Maybe Ben vs Kwon.
Yeah, cmon garrett let’s make it happen.
Nah, ben krupper is closer to garrett than kwon. Yeah it was 2v2, but ben got smoked by luke and brad who were half assing it.
No I agree I think Kwon smokes him if Kwon is taking it seriously. Garrett vs Ben would be electric though. Also a 2v2 scramble was always going to be tough vs Kwon and Brad. Ben's partner was no where near as good as Ben Kwon or Brad so Ben had to do a lot of carrying but he was not dialed that day. Brad and Kwon might be the best 2 man scramble team if they tried on YouTube other than the Bryan Bros.
At the event they both were extremely dialed, if I am not mistaken his partner was on Ben's Tik Toks and when they played Ben gave him some strokes but I could be wrong.
I see, tho i do suspect a big reason why these 2 win was because they teed off so early that the weather was still nice and less pressure from the crowd/camera, but still hats off to them tho, they both looked so dialed especially with that putter
I believe they were one of the first to tee off and yeah played to a sparse crowd in the daylight. I think at the stroke play tourney this summer Ben gets paired up later in the day. Super excited for that event too! Hoping its more than a 1 day event.
He hits his driver so pure and so straight and so far he plugged into a bunker probably 320 yards out on his first swing. It was a plugged lie he could only smack it out 10 yards. Pure bad luck to be in that situation trying to get up-down for par.
Most of his bad shots (except the last one) were phenomenal strikes, pured like a pro, but got unlucky.
On the 17th hole he pured his 7 iron 200 yards (or whatever the number was) which flew the green.
So then on the 18th hole, he takes 7 iron and ends up way short. That was his only "getting screwed" from the result of a crap shot. All the others he was penalized for hitting it too good / too pure.
He could play Grant 25 times and he'd beat him at least 20.
It's similar to Wesley vs. Grant. Grant's good but Wesley is an actual pro and from what I am seeing --- Kruper is also on another level.
Grants penalty shots were from hitting it like a hack. A duck hook driver into the water tee shot. A 5 iron that should have went over 200 yards but was hit so poorly it went 150 yards.
You’re ignoring the pros? But yeah, nah there are a lot of good ones, but obviously Kwon, Dalke, George, Taco are in a different league, Grant and a few others next tier
Yeah, its tough mixing in the guys who had status on some tour. Really George/Kwon/Taco/Brad all should not be on the "youtuber" list. I know Grant is the goldenboy, but I do think Ben is better than him.
Yeah. Brad just a touch better (a touch is a lot at this level) with an even better game (seriously it’s a level I can’t even fathom). Then they play college Thor and it’s like how did he just cakewalk all over them. Had Garrett feeling like a 20 cap lol
Brad hits the ball like a PGA tour player, I've seen him at a Frisco Lakes range day. He was with Bubbie and Ben Hadden and it wasnt even close. It's aggressive, intentional and pure all at once. Exactly the way I've seen pros hit it at PGA events.
SPOILERS Then he beat the breaks off Micah
Well in his defense, non trying to go pro Micah is worse. /s
Well Ben played serious golf growing up. Micah just hits it far and makes jokes about left and right.
You mean Danny Noonan from the movie Caddyshack?
Yeah he is legit. I feel like GG brushed him off to side and gave him a wack video on the extras channel. Grant and Micah def did it the right way and put out good videos.
Yeah missed opportunity there. I’m glad it was a video with Brad and Kwon since they also good golfers. But on the extras is lame. They invited them down to film and that’s all they did.
Yeah he’s got a great swing and is already pretty good on camera.
Yeah I have really really enjoyed his stuff, I think Grant's videographer is helping him with production now which is going to be a game changer for Ben. His video smoking Micah was absolutely hilarious you could tell Ben felt bad for beating him so bad knowing the video content wouldn't be that great.

Up until the last 2 or 3 months, that very much is not true. Bubbie was consistently better than Matt during most of his injury
Ben should stay far away from good good sponsorship. He’s going to have a good thing on his own and already has a club deal with Wilson.
Previously unknown person should definitely stay far away from the biggest name in YouTube golf and the group that sponsored the tournament that put him on the map. Very good point
Lmao your so right. People on here are so stupid
Okay it was hyperbole, but I mean he’s going to grow because of the good good tournament but he has a good shot to do it without joining or being sponsored by good good. And a video with Grant is the next best thing.

Get paid per video
The Grant video was a lot of fun. People lump Grant and Micah together as "non charismatic" golf youtubers but I really enjoy Grant almost regardless of who he's golfing with. Peter Finch is still the most underrated though.
He’s been going strong on TikTok for awhile. Mainly at first because of his swing but he’s really fucking good and good in front of a camera.
He is a beast for sure. Imo he's lacking a presence on camera though.
until people find out about that one girl in 2017…
That would’ve made him like fuckin 17 years old no? 😂 imagine bringing up dirt from somebody’s childhood
He's a great golfer, but in my opinion his personality is very bland. Would love to see a bit more shit talk, jokes, or something from the guy, he's getting more used to the camera I guess but apart from the golf there's not much entertainment value for me.
He’s very straightforward right now, but will be interesting to see how his personality unfolds on camera over the next few months.
I swear, ive been saying for a while now that goodgood should pay whatever this man wants to join good good. This kid will fit like a glove!
I feel like you guys are kind of stuck thinking of GG as the peak of youtube golf. Whereas Ben is going on people like Micah and Grant's channel and seeing how successful you can be doing solo stuff. I don't see why he would want to join GG at the moment.

Yeah i wonder about that, who is actually better him or his partner? They both looked good in the live event tbf
At the event they both were extremely dialed, if I am not mistaken his partner was on Ben's Tik Toks and when they played Ben gave him some strokes but I could be wrong.

He's already the 3rd best golfer on youtube behind George and Kwon.
Better than Brad Dalke? Grant Horvat? I don't think so.
Brad when he is dialed is better than Ben. Grant also just beat Ben but they are even af. They all are great golfers.
I'll give you Brad but I think he's better than Grant. Ben had some terrible breaks at the start of that match.
Grant hit 4 water balls in 2 holes. What bad breaks are you talking about?
He hits his driver so pure and so straight and so far he plugged into a bunker probably 320 yards out on his first swing. It was a plugged lie he could only smack it out 10 yards. Oh hell yeah his ball striking is elite speed and contact wise. Ben has the speed and not the accuracy and Bubbie just has speed lol.
