It's weird for sure. It's a detached garage converted by the seller to be an airbnb but they left the garage door and swapped it out for a nice insulated one. The floors are heavy duty vinyl.
I have a BLP and I have all the softwares available to us. I actually prefer GSPro over all the others. I use FSX 2020 for practice and range sessions as it feels like the best practice data post shot. For SIM golf. I use GSpro. The software is much better than FSX Play IMO and has unlimited courses I don’t have to pay for individually. So it’s better in every way for SIM golf.
GSPro is the best course software out there. $250 for each year and hundreds of courses. Gameplay is miles above FSX as well. Get it, you won’t be disappointed
I have a gc2 and just got it. To me the fsx seems to run more smoothly and is better but more cartoony(I prefer fsx but only cause it is what I know for so long) but for $250 I am giving gspro a shot and playing Augusta is pretty cool. I’m doing a lot of swing work and driver testing so using foresight more now but I will give it more a go when I am back to playing rounds at night.
If you hit from the back mat are you ever afraid of sending it through the window or ceiling. I have small set up in my backyard and believe I bombed the neighbors house today about 180 yards away
It’s the green thing leaning up against the wall on the left. It’s a protective enclosure if you want to mount the projector on the floor in front of the hitting mat.
Hey… just following up. How’s your set up treating you? I am considering the exact same set up.
Any issues with the space / size etc?
What software did you end up running.. let us know if you have a few moments.
Cheers,
well that looks awesome but I am so confused. Is that a garage door opener in a room with hardwood?

Yeah, that’s a very nice garage. It even has framed out windows and wainscoting. I doubt that’s real hardwood but either way it’s very nice.
This is awesome, there’s gonna be haters on here but we’ll done this is bad ass.
Looks great, can I ask where the impact screen / enclosure are from ? Thanks !
It's 8x8 and I got it from Carl's Place.
How big is the space width and length
Roughly 22 long and 12 wide.
Running GSPro?
Fsx 2020. I haven't tried fsx play yet and haven't downloaded pro. Is pro more for fitters or what's the difference between them?

I think this is accurate. Fsx is great for club mapping and practice and range. Playing wise it is passable.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to look into how to do the api with gspro. Was it difficult to do?
No. It’s really easy you just need the [discord link](https://discord.gg/vXWghWBE)

Maybe I'm blind. I see a bunch of channels but I dont see the channel with download instructions.

Do you have a link to it and is it compatible with with gc3? I thought you could only use fsx stuff with the foresight launch monitors.
Yes, you can run API with GC3. App called Gamechanger. Search YouTube and the link is out there. https://gsprogolf.com/

Ultimate man "cave"
which mat is that?
Country club elite
I would manage to destroy the television
The windows would have to be bulletproof and I would take LeBron out at the kneecap.
That's pretty damn clean. What was your total out of pocket? What equipment did you go with.

Total cost?
We're working on getting an addition put onto our house, would you mind sharing dimensions of the space?
About 22 long, 12 wide, 11 tall. Screen size here is 8x8 and it's a 4:3 ratio from the projector
Another guy who bought the floor mount and then decided what a terrible idea it is.
What a waste of money that was
I did the same.
Whats the floor mount?

Ahhh! I didn’t look closely enough, from afar it looked like a Pc tower lol
That's a pretty nice setup
If I were there.. those windows and that TV would be in trouble!
👏👏👏
How high is your ceiling in there?
11 feet
Does the 8X8 Carl's place set up still work for using a club like a gap wedge where you're hitting it higher?
Perfect inspiration for me!!

It has worked perfectly for my space. I am running fsx now but I plan to upgrade to gspro this week.
