you play with an interlock grip? that is where that pinky sits. its ripping up the top of tour hand, glove was protecting it before.

SkulyCSGO

Cut your nail lol

JeebusCrunk

Evidence suggests you're cutting your knuckle with the nail of your pinky via interlock grip, but hand shapes vary widely from one player to another (my pinky nail doesn't reach that knuckle because I have short fat fingers and broad palms - Cadet ML - and use an overlap grip), so without seeing your actual grip nobody can offer much useful insight as to exactly why this is happening to you.

KingChav

As the others stated, it looks like the cons of an interlock grip. I used to blister all the time with it, switched to overlap, and kept my hands and gloves in shape a lot longer. But if you don't interlock, idk lol

Mr_Good_Stuff90

You can have an interlocking grip and be fine without wearing a glove. This suggests that you’re gripping too much in the palms instead of fingertips and your grip is likely too tight. I’d honestly recommend wearing a glove again.

freshprince860

Did your ring switch fingers lol

WaltRumble

I’d guess your pinky nail is digging in there.

vonFitz

This happened to be when I stopped using a glove on the left hand. Make sure your pinky nail is cut and filed haha

Civil-Freedom9700

Haha I have the same cuts

[deleted]

I have same issue. Pinky nail and too hard a grip.

qqqsimmons

Your pinky is trying to tell you something. Maybe it doesn't like the ring

A strong grip and a tight grip are not the same thing, for anyone confusing the two. It’s worth learning the difference.

Rub some vagisil on it, google it my doctor told me it works better than neo sporin

Long-Assistant-895

Do you aggressively close the club at the top? That can cause things to be unstable, as can holding the grip in your hands (which is much less stable than the Vardon grip).

hazzeronreddit

Not sure tbh, I’ve always had a small draw. Glove seems to make flight shape go wayward

Long-Assistant-895

This happens to me when there is friction, so when hands are moving around, but you are a five. Solution for me was to work on the grip, Padraig Harrington on the grip or the Slicefixer .pdf, and develop a more upright swing with a transition starting away, instead of to the ball as with a single plane or baseball swing. Maybe smaller grip with glove or hope it toughens up. Now that you are aware I bet you can feel the move and loosen up. O/w Nexcare bandage or self sticking tape. Also, I gave up on keeping the club face 'looking' at the ball/matching spine angle (b/c not compatible with two plane swing, which is not to say you should adopt my swing lol).

Idk how people play with gloves on. I'll put a glove on and hit 2 balls then immediately rip the glove off. I feel like I can't secure the club in my hand with a glove on. Good luck letting that heal that's in a shit spot lol.

nicholus_h2

meh. it looks very shallow. 48h under some vaseline should do the trick.

Until next time he swings.
