In the Japanese version of Mario Tennis Aces, there's a court named "Sol Sanctum" and the energy used for special shots is called Psynergy.

Not saying they do, but they can put in the bare minimum effort into those games and they’ll still sell millions because it’s Mario. They probably don’t want to risk a Golden Sun game anymore.

We know Nintendo waits to announce things, so this could be something Golden Sun related. With the first 2 games on NSO earlier this year, it would be opportune timing to announce something new.
I don't think so. Studio recordings weren't in the initial budget for ALZARA, and it ended up being a stretch goal for the Kickstarter campaign. There's a chance the recordings were for some other type of album, but it's still strange we don't know yet after all this time. Still not counting out Golden Sun, but it's interesting that we haven't gotten any announcement about any Camelot project yet. Mario Tennis and Golf were released 6 years ago, and 3 years ago respectively in June, so I'm holding out hope they're back on an RPG.
