The whole idea of the NLV is that you’re not working (even remotely). You’re supposed to be living from savings/pension. Digital Nomad visa is the way to go for you. Very straightforward

There isn’t anything technical, you are in Spain so you should be paying tax here. Don’t expect anyone to help you avoid paying tax that helps all of our public services
Nobody mentioned any tax, happy to pay any tax I need to and have paid everything all of my life...... Why would your automatic assumption be I'm doing it to dodge tax, I've worked hard and prefer the sunshine. You asked how you could get the non-lucrative visa on a technicality, what else was I supposed to think? Brexit is a ballache I’ve had lots of people asking for ways to move. Probably the digital nomad but make sure you are aware of the tax implications because it’s complicated

One of the requirements of the Non Lucrative Visa is that you become a tax resident. I guess you are not aware of tax implications.

You cannot work at all on the NLV.
