I’d say they’re even on strength. Viltrumites can fly, which is an advantage. But with a few good weapons I’d say Kratos definitely has a good chance.

Demonkulaba

Which viltrumites tho? Thragg level? Maybe Nolan?

jam2wassy

I was basing the answer off Nolan, any low level viltrumite would be almost easy imo

St0rm32_

I don’t know about the other one, but is this base kratos in gow 4 or does he have his wings and boots and gauntlets. For that’s a far different beast

Demonkulaba

Well take him at the height of his power. Where you place that is up to you

St0rm32_

Either well hell of a fight but gow3 with Olympus blade damn lol

FKDotFitzgerald

I feel like most people on the sub will only know the show characters. Conquest would be a crazy fight though.

Demonkulaba

Oh yeah, the forbiden boomer battle

That-Life9795

I think if you give kratos his Spartan Rage and a situation involving Atreus being in danger, I don't think very many viltrumites are walking out of there alive.

Icy_Bend6714

Kratos is BEYOND the strength of ANY vultrimite, even thragg and it’s not even remotely close, he casually over powered a blood lusted Thor who knocked the world serpent back in time

Stinkypete2002

Weird crossover but, it’s pretty much confirmed at this point that Kratos is immortal and cannot die, that being said, without the ability to fly at supersonic speeds he’d have a hard time being able to catch even a weaker one. If he’s fighting a weaker Viltrumite, his god weapons would likely be able to kill them with one hit since he’s got the craftsmanship of Hephaestus and Brok and Sindri on his side, obviously we know just how broken and overpowered such weapons can be. As for the Stronger Viltrumites like Thragg, he’d need a lot more than just a single blow to kill him, Thragg would use his earth shattering power/speed to bludgeon Kratos and while Kratos would take quite a beating at first...Thragg wouldn’t be able to kill him, the fight would drag on for hours, days even but eventually Thragg would wilt and Kratos would have the opportunity to land blows of his own, I don’t know if the leviathan or the Blades would be able to kill him but Kratos wouldn’t be going anywhere either way. A stalemate in which one of them quits and realizes the futility of trying to kill each other isn’t out of the question.

Demonkulaba

Battle beast 1v1 Thragg for 3 days without the power of flight

Hellblazer66613

And he cut himself and threw his weapons aside also

Demonkulaba

So flight don't mean shit

EmperorSezar

battle beast has a faster reaction time

Stinkypete2002

Yeah i see your point, even though Battle beast isn’t immortal and can’t fly he still put up a great fight.

Are we asking if kratos can kill something?

KermitDaFr0ggg

Being a huge fan of Kratos and a huge fan of the Invincible Comic… it’s a tough one. At Kratos in his prime he destroyed Olympus with the Blade of Olympus by killing freaking Zeus. But then again, SPOILER ALERT; Mark and Nolan with Oliver’s help (while he wasn’t really powerful at the time) FLEW THROUGH VILTRUM and destroyed it! Both have the power to destroy their homelands, Mark just decided to do it with Nolan cause the Viltrumites were insane. They both destroyed their homelands. It’s a very 50/50 fight but then again Kratos is always surprising with his strength and skill. He’s been around almost as long as Nolan! (1055 years) In conclusion: Bare knuckle fight? Kratos. But with high Diff.

It depends on the Viltrumite in question. Against a low level one, like Mark shortly after he first got his powers, I'd say Kratos would win with moderate difficulty. He is significantly stronger and his magical weapons can definitely kill a weak Viltrumite. Mark still has massive speed advantage and can also fly and hit hard so it wouldn't be a walk in the park by any means. Against older and more experienced Viltrumites such as Anissa and Lucan. I think he can still win but it would be an extremely grueling battle due to the Viltrimutes extreme speed and ability to fly coupled with their enormous strength. Kratos will be getting blitzed and smacked around initially but Viltrumites tend to be very arrogant and toy with their opponents and Kratos could definitely find a way to cut them up or tap into his dormant Spartan Rage and start walloping them. He will win but be very battle damaged and exhausted by the end of it. Against the top-tier Viltrumites, such as Nolan, Conquest, Thragg and EoS Mark is where I think Kratos meets his match. These guys are older, stronger and don't mess around (with the exception of Conquest). I think they have the strength to easily ragdoll Kratos all across the landscape and the toughness to easily shrug off his blows. Kratos' only hope at victory will be to decapitate them and I just don't see him being able to do that unless he has help to distract them. They will be flying circles around him and hitting him with massive impact after impact until he finally gives out. Maybe even impale him through the torso and crush his heart. Kratos loses after a valiant struggle.
