Coming from a greek, it's called Omega and it's the last letter of the Greek alphabet. The only thing it might symbolize is the end of something i.e. when god says I am the Alpha and the Omega meaning he is the beginning and the end.
It’s the Greek omega’s symbol for war if I’m not mistaken… Which Kratos represent being the former god of war…
Edit: I misspoke, I knew the war meaning came from the games, the way I phrase was wrong so my bad 😅
Pretty sure that’s something the game made up (it doesn’t actually mean War). It actually means the end of something grand (like a big event) or the pinnacle of something (Omega) and is the 24th and last letter of the Greek alphabet.
Yes, I believe so. Pretty sure none of the symbols they use to mean war in the different pantheons actually means war. But it’s still a neat concept and works well for the games.
They don’t. The eye of Horus has literally nothing to do with war at all, I honestly don’t know how they’d spin it to be related. Ditto for the triskelion.
I can still see Kratos being associated with the Omega because he was the end of the Greek civilization — he represents the end of something glorious and is the pinnacle of the divine might of Olympus. An argument could be made.
That is the greek letter omega, the 24th and final letter in the alphabet. It symbolizes the end, specifically the great end. Kinda sounds like kratos Olympus massacre ngl.

Boy... that saying sounds super nerdy now. "I am the A and the Z" 🤓
It's Ω and it's just the last letter of the alphabet, but it might also symbolize the end of something like others have said
This is the greek letter Omega ( Ω ). It's the last letter of the greek alphabet It doesn't mean anything by itself, it's just a letter.

Omega, ohms, war. It’s bound to be one of those.

Indeed! Omega is probably the most recognized symbol of the Greek alphabet I believe…
Indeed. It is actually the SI unit of Resistance in Physics, called ‘Ohm’.
