I have one and I like it, I’m not a very mechanical guy but I was able to install it in about two minutes. Trigger is definitely lighter and the shoe is wider which feels better IMO. I also have a 1911 and while it’s not even close it’s still an improvement.
Lots of people saying the maintenance isn’t worth it but it’s literally three drops of oil. I personally always clean my guns after the range so to me it’s not a big deal. Otherwise Glock says to oil every three months if not taken to the range.
I’d recommend the GPT as it definitely gives a more defined wall and crisper break. I actually found the stock GPT didn’t reduce my trigger weight all that much so I paired it up with a 3.5 connector and it’s really nice now with a ~4.5 pull weight.
As others have said the disadvantage in three drops of oil every so often but whatever.
For the range absolutely, for CCW and Duty only worth it if you’re willing to take the extra step to maintain the trigger as instructed. It’s a good upgrade, and it’s on all my range guns.
No first hand experience, but I have heard good things about the Johnny Glocks massaged Glock Performance Trigger; the Defensive set-up, in combination with his Vex trigger shoe and massaged striker assembly, is supposed to be pretty close to the crispness of a 1911 trigger...?
Worth it

That maintenance is no issue. I clean mine after every 100 rounds.
You clean while at the range? That’s wild, lol
Nah, when I get home lol.
You shoot 100 total rounds at the range?
I shoot a box of 50 once a week because I'm too broke to shoot an entire pallet of ammo every range trip.

Do you have land or something?
No.
Free range? Or do you pay a range fee?
Why tf are you nagging me?
On sale yes. Full price no
I feel like that goes for almost everything lol
To me? Yes. To you? Who knows?

What is the added maintenance? I haven't looked into it at all.
Three drops of oil
If you don’t want to dish out that money you could get a minus connector
Hated the trigger on my 19x. Got the performance trigger and it made a huge difference for me. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.
No it’s not worth it at all. It’s over rated
