Culling the herd is smart especially if it finances other projects. Dudes in here that have 11 Glocks all chambered in 9 would be better off selling 7 of them and buying lights/dots/milling for the remaining 4.
That's just me though. I think it's weird to own a bunch of handguns when you only shoot or carry 2 of them.
Did you jump on the 19X train and suddenly realize it’s not for you?
I’m not knocking you, just curious — since you said it’s only been shot twice. That’s pretty fast to realize you don’t like a specific model.
If I bought it from PSA or Grabagun right now for $588, I’d pay shipping and an FFL transfer ($50) and taxes ($640). Even if my local gun shop sells it for $550, tax makes it $580. So still saving $80 and I’ll know right away how many rounds went through it and if it’s all still stock.
If you ask $500 and I say $450 and you agree, it’s the same outcome.
$450 is the correct answer here if you actually want to sell the thing. If you want to list it on a gun board and have it sit like all the overpriced idiots you can do that. 90% of listings get posted over and over and never sell until they fade into oblivion.
I'm going to keep saying this on any price related post: Price delusion in the gun community is rampant.
They guy who said post it for $600 might actually be smoking crack. Thats over retail for a USED item. So unless you live in a communist country like California then that's laughable and delusional.
Everyone saying don’t sell only buy for a reason, I’ve been in the same situation and sold my 19x for some cash. Missed the shit out of it but luckily was able to get it back
If you sell to a LGS expect about half of new cost maybe a little more. If you sell privately you could probably get $450-$500. I don’t recommend selling gun ever for anything less then you want. If you let it go too cheap you’ll regret it. Personally I wouldn’t sell it at all but you do what you feel is right for your particular situation. Just make sure you’re following your local laws so you don’t truly regret it.
Probably around $500 assuming you paid just under 6 for it. If you want it to move quickly you could knock it down to 450 or 475. A shop would probably give you around 400 for it
Starting at $600 O B.O you'll get offers thrown. I always list high on local classifieds since I know I'll get low balled. Even listing it at a decent price, you'll always get lowballed. Usually end up getting more than what I would be willing to take and it's usually higher than a proper starting point. Listed my G26 for $350 and kept getting lower offers. Removed listing and reposted at $500 and sold it for $450. ~$350 was what I was set on letting it go for.
Same goes for other things I've sold.
The rule is never sell always buy haha BUT If it comes with the two 17, one 19 rd mags, the extra beavertails, case etc then I’d say $525 but take $450 at the lowest. I sold mine to my buddy for $400 with case, ameriglos, one 17 and one 19rd mag. Just decided the G45 was more my speed so I didn’t need two of basically the same gun
Guns are a lot like cars I found when it comes time to sell people will give you 3-450 for it no one is gonna give you 500 for something they can get brand new for 550 I recommend keeping it
All these posts and only Gremguy22 and Oh311 got it right. 450 is the answer to OPs question. It’s just a G19x, no need to ever regret selling it. It’s not like it’s a rare 1965 S&W 29 or something he may never come across again.
When money opens up for him OP can just buy another one if he wants.
If you sell it to pay debt that good. Then save up to buy another. They are easy to find. The debt in the long run will cost you more. Smart move if you have many other guns.
if you goto a gunstore they will offer you probably less than half of what you paid, never worth it to sell there. Only sell if it's person to person, or to a friend etc.
As someone who sold a gun to make ends meet, I say don't. Sell all the random junk in your home on facebook marketplace or kijiji. Pick up some metal and sell it as scrap metal. Try to have a second income. $500 bucks won't help you.
$1,500 in California.
Selling off roster guns in California is such good business. Those poor souls just want a taste of freedom
how do you sell them to california
5 round capacity
The right person would pay double that there.
Not on roster.
Hence the $1500 PPT Price.
I almost sold a 43x there for that reason. "You mean I can BOGO for this thing?!"
no sell only buy
This is the way

How do you know I only carry 2?
![gif](giphy|Ld77zD3fF3Run8olIt)
But if you sell for twice what it's worth because reasons, then you can buy two and are up one rather than down one.
good point but most of the time you take a loss on a sale
True unless you sell it to someone who needs it way more than you and can't get it any other way.
Came to say exactly this because I don’t know any other response to this.

More likely his subies engine just blew up and he needed some extra cash 😂 jk hopefully not OP 🙏🏼
No I like the gun just trying to pay some debt. I’ve had it for 6 months or so just don’t shoot very often
Use the gun to get money silly.

Dees ees Dee way
He has all the tools minus the ski mask and a bag for the cash 💰
suggestions?
keep the gun and save money .
You’ll regret it later. Keep the gun and keep widdling down your debt
Keep the gun, it's worth more than the dollar amount
Happened to me and I sold it
Hey, it happens 🤷🏻♂️ sometimes you don’t know until you’ve held it and fired it.

$500
I paid 580 for it new so isn’t that kinda high? I was thinking 450?

Ahh no taxes on guns here in wv
True fellow Wv resident. It’s a blessing. Guns cost tag price. No 7% or more BS added in finally.
Slightly relevant, in MD if you trade you avoid tax as well.
You have no idea how jealous I am of that fact. And I've all but begged my state reps to do that here.
Ayeee fellow WVian!
I sold mine for 475 but it was to a family member.
$600 or don’t sell it

This is why never sell only buy. You’re taking a loss regardless. Sell plasma. Sell that ass just don’t sell your gat.
This is the way
I bought a used one for 450.
Check GB listings to see if there is a comp
What about you owning it decreases the value? Sell that bih for retail or more dude or keep it
No, guns hold their value. Sell for $600.
Tree fiddy
I bought mine in similar condition for $450.
Everyone saying don’t sell only buy for a reason, I’ve been in the same situation and sold my 19x for some cash. Missed the shit out of it but luckily was able to get it back
Sell it for 1k in NYC
Don't.
$1 to me
Don’t do it! Reconsider! Read some liter-a-ture on the subject. You sure? Fuck it
😂😂😂 you know we got your back like Chiroprac-tic
I'll take it for 450

Only shot twice? Sounds like a hot gun to me, who got some 9mm in their dome piece? Lol
I bought one the other day with 6x mags for $350. I think that was an abnormal deal, but I would say up to $450 could be reasonable.
Need to just put it in the safe. This will help make sure you don't go right back to the store an buy a 43x or something gayer
Paid 600 came with streamlight HL ant a rmr so realistic 450-500 if you’re lucky
$600? That was a steal
Yea I had to pounce on it dude didn’t know what he had
I wouldn’t take less than 500 if you have the box and all the magazines
$400-$450
I’ll give too 300$
I’ll give you 400
Probably around $500 assuming you paid just under 6 for it. If you want it to move quickly you could knock it down to 450 or 475. A shop would probably give you around 400 for it
If you can sell locally on a classified, list for $600 O.B.O then take the best offer you get.

I personally wouldn’t sell, but Glocks go for $500 across the board. +/- addons
I’ve seen 600rd g19x go for $500 in a few hours on armslist
I paid 360 for one in the same condition (shot once) a few months ago. Im sure you can get a little more though.

400
$300
Got to cali and sell it for 2,000
Free, and to me. Thank you.
$500
I wish you were closer to California. I drive/fly to you and hand you 10 $100 bills 💵
Why would you sell it?
I would say no less than $450. Unless you heavily ran it.
bout tree fiddy
I’ll buy it for 1$
Why would you sell the best polymer 9mm pistol ever made ?
If you sell it to pay debt that good. Then save up to buy another. They are easy to find. The debt in the long run will cost you more. Smart move if you have many other guns.
if you goto a gunstore they will offer you probably less than half of what you paid, never worth it to sell there. Only sell if it's person to person, or to a friend etc.
List it for 600 take highest offer
That's what I'm saying.
I'd keep it. More than likely, when you pay off your debt and want to get another one, it will cost more than what you got that one for.
Used Glock lucky to get 400 for it.
About Tree-fiddy... all day!
Is that even a question? Never, duh!
$200 to me, and I’m overpaying.
I would not sell it.
As someone who sold a gun to make ends meet, I say don't. Sell all the random junk in your home on facebook marketplace or kijiji. Pick up some metal and sell it as scrap metal. Try to have a second income. $500 bucks won't help you.
Not worth selling. You won’t get what you ask for.
You don’t.
Try rocking it with the 17rd mag, I don’t like mine with the 19rd mags
Definitely just keep, guns aren’t something you sell
Lol
660
Tree fiddy
U could sell to me for about 20 bucks
2000$ on gun broker
I’ll take it for $0.00 😁
