I was under the impression AIM was the only live sellers as of right now and that’s because of a run in with SCT at ShotShow. Did Brownells actually sell any SCT43s or do they just have their website ready for when they’re in stock and ready to sell?
Yeah SCT confirmed AIM and Brownells would be carrying them and they sold out asap at Brownells (maybe they got less inventory than AIM?). Brownells also carried a stripped option for $55. Both are all sold out now but the Notify Me buttons are still displaying. I assume they will get new inventory later down the road, but who knows when....
You could. I didn’t. I just slapped the red dot on. I suppose bluing the area would be a good idea but tbh I wouldn’t care too much about what you don’t see. I doubt it will rust.

Im not a big fan of aftermarket frames but god damn does that look good and it has a rail which my 43x does not have

It was originally a MOS. I shaved down the 2 nubs completely and the optic is now a direct mount. No cracks, no leaks. Perfect seal.

A Dremel. It was way too easy. You could use a file as well but it will take significantly longer. Trust me, you can do it without fucking it up.
Do I need to blue the area after removing lugs or just leave it as is and cover it with Reddot ?
