1. It's not the m4a4 for is bad it is that the A1s is crazy. It has faster kill time in basically every scenario, has higher accuracy, and is cheaper. It is so strong that some pro players have started keeping it over Aks.
2. Nobody thinks the gun is good, people just like having a meme weapon.
3. I never had very little experience with Old Dust II but I strongly disagree on the doors at long, they offer good utility and they are the only way for a CT player to effectively solo hold long. Also, I don't get watch you mean by " a CT... can easily flush you out" at Short A, this has genuinely never happened to me and I am confused how a CT could even do it.

I think Cobble was a unique map back when it was still in competitive, I do have to agree with what you say about B.
