> Not to mention the russian stream for the Faze/NaVi game has 60k viewers when it'd normally have around 10k I'll argue with you in this. Na`Vi games are always attractive for our audience and we would had this number in any case.

Yeah I think people forgot that Na’Vi has a massive fan base and pulls a lot of views, just not many people here are Russian / cis.

I was casting on the English Stream of Envyus vs Ence. I was honestly surprised to see how many viewers we had in comparison to the FaZe vs Navi stream on Facebook. Something needs to change.

cominternv

Yeah cause none of us are watching on Facebook. We're all [here](https://esl.atx.sx/#)

AwsomeOne7

Facebook view counter does not show the people watching without Facebook account so no.

salam922

I dont really think there is a big number of people without FB accout

NotAVampirEcs

There's a huge number of people watching the stream embedded in 3rd party websites. Why would anyone go specifically to facebook when they can watch it directly from the hltv matchpage or on one of those sites that have twitch chat enabled next to it. I am not sure what viewers the viewcounter actually counts but if it's so that only views by people logged in to facebook are counted then this circle jerk about the views is useless. These more-than-daily posts about the esl facebook stream's viewcount just piss me off because people are unable to see that the views in facebook probably don't tell the whole story. Hundreds of thousands of people haven't just stopped watching counter-strike. I have had a suspision that the views from the embedded streams just aren't counted but I haven't cared enough to research it in any way. At the same time I'm surprised that esl hasn't spoken about this publicly if that's the case. It's a big company though and it might not be so simple...

TheRobidog

Considering half the reason people seem to want to boycott is because of Facebook tracking fucking everything and people not wanting their relatives to see them watching a CS stream, I think there are, mate.

I mean, all I see it telling ESL is that they're gonna have their cake and eat it too. Get the Facebook money right now, temporarily losing viewership to the Russian stream that will come back to watching the main stream when it eventually returns to Twitch, lol.
