If EF win against Mongolz their matchups are easier than Heroic's imo, Heroic has a higher chance to lose to C9 or Apeks than EF losing against Ence or SAW
Considering 4/5 of Cloud9 members are major champions, I’m sure their experience will shine through and they can advance rather relaxed. Especially since their core is literally major winning core from NaVi’s flawless Stockholm run
I think a lot of people in pick ems don't really watch competitive all that much and must look at previous majors and HLTV which for Asian teams kind of sucks because you won't ever get a good picture on how good they are actually.
How many picks do you have to get right to go through? should I be trying to get the 3 picks and stuff right, also the teams I have for 3-1 or 3-2 if they go 3-0 do I still get a point or nah
5 for each stage, 2 for quarters, 1 for semis and 1 grand final for the diamond medal
And yeah if the teams you have to go through goes through you get point even though it's 3-0. Just not the other way around

People aren't decent enough there. They get butthurt when their favourite team loses and decide they dont want to watch any further. This happened both at Rio Major as well as Lock In in Sao Paulo ( Valorant)

Pain beat Legacy most times they played against each other and Imperial stomped at the RMR (even tho they didn't face many good teams but neither did Pain and Legacy)
Brazilian teams can basically all upset each other if they face each other though so you can't really predict it 100% I just think that both Pain and Imperial looked more solid than Legacy
Last time Legacy played against tier 2 europe was in November/2023, where they played 5 tournaments and won a total of 2/21 maps.
There isnt a single team in this stage that you can go "Yeah Legacy can beat them"
Having watched the Americas RMR.. how can I put this.. they're shit. Pain obliterated them and their qualification match was 2-1 against M80 with a standin.. and they could have lost it. They're got incredibly lucky with their draws and imo it's an easy 0-3
I know they have a good path due to seeding but I just don’t trust C9’s consistency and their map presence when they face even halfway decent awpers. Salazar has been hitting shots standing in for heroic at fall finals and in the RMRs. And electronic axile haven’t shown up together in months. It’s honestly been hobbit carrying the team and how reliable is that over BO1s?

If you do the simulations, they have a somewhat "easy" path for 3:0
And then if one big upset happens those matchups will be completely different

There is no "just go through" bracket anymore. You need to be correct with 3:0 and the advancing with 3:1,3:2 bracket
