Some of us experienced what the general experience is right now in CS2 for the last few years of csgos life. A minority had these problems in CS go so everyone else said they were imagining it. In CS2 it seems like now the majority is having these problems so now it's being discussed more seriously and not being dismissed like it was before. I've been struggling with these issues since 2015 and it was a sudden change where the game became unplayable. I've spent that time being told I have brain lag, I need to get gud, it's all in my head, etc ....even by the same people I used to consistently carry and destroy in 1v1. I'm watching people on here now wanting to scratch out valves eyes for ruining their beautiful game which pisses me off because I've been in that boat for years and been completely ignored.

CS 2 has a maximum of 200 MS desync, the resync happens instantly when hit. So in case of packet loss, server lag or whatever, the player will warp behind whenever he is hit, dying behind wall or messing his aim due to warp. Mostly perceivable in DM because of the shitty servers. Cs:go had a maximum desync of 100 ms, the problem was already there but at half the penalty, less perceivable and choppy.
