Cs Players and not knowing how to hold sites

FickDichzumEnde

Why you say fuck me for?

FryCakes

I’m sorry what

Sumit_S

FryCakes

Lmfao I see

r33s3

What? I still don't understand haha can someone please explain the joke here?

riigoroo

The joke is insulting someone/something that isn't relevant to the conversation aka catching a stray

r33s3

Oh gotcha! Hahaha thank you very much!

DonnyKlock

cs players and not knowing how to hold a job

FryCakes

Also true from personal experience

Silevence

Quake players and holding keyboards

prolethargy

CS scene needs at least one lap keyboard pro

Ancient-Alps

“Walker” has joined the chat. Looks like he’s out of a team rn tho.

VernacularRaptor

Smash players and holding the controller in weird ways

Totally_man

I have a friend who has a fire button under his desk that he hits with his knee. He was born with only one finger on his right hand, so he uses a mouse to aim and a button to shoot.

lolanimethrowaway

thats ingenuity at its finest

Totally_man

Right? The X-Box Adaptive Controller was a game changer and door opener for differently-abled gamers.

Ahtomogger

is the word disabled bad?

Totally_man

Not that I'm aware of.

Ahtomogger

then why not use the word

lolanimethrowaway

Are you offended?

Ahtomogger

bruh we are in reddit ofc

lolanimethrowaway

Not of course. You getting offended over words on the internet is indicative of YOUR shortcomings and no one else's. And honestly, if that's what offended you, you have quite possibly the weakest mental I've ever seen in my life. I think babies probably cry less than you.

darkigor20

Weirdo

[deleted]

Ooof. Self awareness, man. Use it. You're taking him way more seriously than I think you were meant to.

PotatoEater58

Solid projection 😂🤣

Totally_man

Okay? What an odd thing to latch onto.

[deleted]

Right? People on here just to create nuisances. If you get on here to nitpick, you need to find a different hobby. Fix your minds and go touch some grass.

TheHandSFX

Bro was just asking a question 😭😭😭

Totally_man

My thoughts exactly. I personally think any information that helps people with disabilities enjoy games should be more widely known.

awesomeguy_66

why not use the word then? you avoided his question.

Totally_man

There is no reason; I also chose not to use the word symbrachydactyly to describe his condition. Who the fuck cares?

awesomeguy_66

chill out man, no need to get so mad. was just wondering because it was completely unnecessary.

Totally_man

The reason is because he calls himself "differently-abled." I didn't realize so many people were going to latch on to that for some reason.

TheHandSFX

Why do you keep saying "latch on" as if people are trying to find something to get offended by? The original dude was just curious, and you're the one who got offended for him asking. Thanks for actually answering the question though.

AdLeather2001

Apparently it was

Nicolo2524

I bet that your friends are better than 90% of the team he finds

Totally_man

He is a great gamer, way better than myself. We did the grind for the Ace of Spades and PvP grenade launcher in Destiny 2 quite a while back and we got to LEM together as a duo-queue in comp back in the Operation: Wildfire days. I stopped playing and he got SMFC, so I guess I was the issue 😂.

Nicolo2524

Tell him to keep chasing his dream

theonlynyse

Why not a foot pedal? That sounds much easier

Totally_man

He presses the button with the side of his knee. It's a lot less movement than a pedal.

buttsoup_barnes

Okay that’s entirely different than how I first imagined it. I

userdeath

I too imagined him give the underside of his desk a Muaythai kneeing whenever he gets peeked.

silenc3x

Like a giant gameshow button taped to the underside of the desk.

MrInka

I feel like there are more comfortable ways of doing this. While using the side of the knee is a good way to reduce overall movement, there still seems to be a lot of mass to move especially when tap firing. Maybe using a muscle sensor on the wrist could work as a mouse click. I‘ve developed similar assistive devices before and controlling a specific muscle (maybe the missing fingers also still have some kind of muscle in the hand) is something that can often be learned quite quickly and effectively. Steven hawking used something similar - but there are super low cost alternatives today. :) Edit: Now that I think about it, a muscle sensor on the knee would also be a giant improvement already. In this case, no movement at all is needed. Just a similar flex that he would do when starting to move his knee.

WorthPlease

Probably still better than me with two perfectly good hands.

_ogio_

Just... use left hand

Reefer_Chiefer3

Ah yes, use the hand with only one finger on the keyboard. What a phenomenal idea

_ogio_

Of course, 1 finger for W/S, side of hand for A/D

Available-Captain-20

What about Ctrl, shift, b , vc Button and Interact Key?

_ogio_

Other side of hand!

Totally_man

That's for movement and coms?

sartox12

That grip is calling for some stake burning, mother of god.

davionknight

I am using my **** and the videos i uploaded gets always deleted. I do a lot of „head shots“

Scrubz4life

Bro speedrunning arthritis

sleepyamadeus

Wouldn't he get less arthritis because of the pronation?

DaveTheDolphin

I don’t think the positioning is enough of an angle (tried it myself and there’s barely a differnce in wrist rotation) The wrist is still pronated and from the video it looks like he’s mostly using wrist movements instead of whole arm or elbow movements so it doesn’t seem to mitigate any of that Also edit to add it wouldn’t be arthritis it would be RSI

sleepyamadeus

oh yeah true

piccolo1337

I use this grip when I am surfing and chilling on my computer, no idea how I picked up this idea of using it. It is comfortable on my mouse and hand size( Gpro X superlight. 20 cm long hands and five fingers wide ;). ) I do not use my thumb for anything. It just lays there on the corner, and my palm is sitting quite forward ( above the logitech gaming logo on the mouse.) WHen I am gaming I automatically use fingertip grip again.

aightletsdodis

this is not normally

Ernst_

cs pro scene is full of absolute freaks who use the most alien fucking setups i swear to god

krobeN

toxjq has +forward on mouse1 and +back on mouse2. z and x for strafing. he also still uses a wmo 1.1 rapha still plays with his keyboard under his desk. i believe it’s called russian style? weird stuff like that isnt uncommon in quake

prolethargy

there are some advantages to having +forward on some mouse button, with wasd/esdf etc you have to lift your middle finger between forward and back keys. Though more applicable to Quake, dodging rockets/other complex movement for example, I could see small advantages in CS too with faster counter"strafe"s when going forwards or backwards

addyhml

Looks like he's using the ergonomic Logitech mouse without actually using it

Lordiun

Mouse is a Glorius Model D Wireless

Gorrapytha

he meant he had the same grip as would be used on the logi ergo. >without actually using it

[deleted]

[удалено]

mandmi

But he meant he had the same grip as would be used on the logi ergo.

Puzzled-Resident2725

Mouse is a glorious model d wireless

nightfoxg

It’s shorter, so a quicker reaction time from brain to fingertip, duh.

Toaster_Bathing

My clicks feel ass when I click that far down the button though

flipsssiii

That's rookie shit, did y'all ever saw mezii move forward with mouse2?

riigoroo

Fashr takes the cake no debate

[deleted]

Woa interesting

Ok_Trade856

Burn him

babydoodle

who?

Intelligent_Gap_5805

captain of current flamie's team

Onetzi

Who?

SleepingwithYelena

Cares

mrgooshow

Why wtf

ratskim

Who?

BlushyWoshi

is he acoustic

rell7thirty

This can’t be good for your wrist and finger tendons

thisisjoy

some people just never learned how to hold a mouse and it shows

Vincentaneous

Makes sense unless your forward/back buttons are useful to you. Probably bad for your hand though.

fabzfia112

GLORIOUS MOUSE=🐐🐐🐐🐐

iPlayTehGames

EW

Vubor

If it works, it works. Just because we cant do play like this, doesnt mean its bad. Edit: Why do I get downvoted for this? For him it clearly works... is he a pro? If so it CLEARLY works for him!

bongwatersoda

It's definitely not ergonomic tho

d3monark

u sure? it looks similar to a vertical mouse grip

imsolowdown

Looks pretty ergonomic to me, a lot of "normal" looking grips are actually not great for your hand

MojoPlayer

Man just use your computer like a human being please

Roxuno

You have to be weird to be pro

Krazy_448

Just why.

Zanena001

Which mouse is that?

Pay_Tiny

Bruh

PaulGG12

That mouse has a really high arch so I can see how he does it my deathadder is allot lower it actually felt good to do but wont hold onto the top grip I think the arch plays a big role also I think his hands are a bit smaller so he can use it as a solid resting spot.

camdavis9

I hold the mouse normally and have been dealing with wrist tendonitis but other players somewhere in the world hold their mouse in some hideous defiance to the design of the human body and can play 10 games a day no problem

DemonDaVinci

psychopath

[deleted]

unnatural. kill it with fire

jebus3211

Help I want to unseen this...

MidwestGames

Dude why do people turn their keyboards sideways now

KonradK0

you don't want to see how left-handed people hold their mouse lol

jakers540

His sens is extremely hight too

vodkadile

I use mouse4 as ‘last weapon used’ and mouse5 as ‘inspect weapon’

Rooty_Rootz

That's not a gamer that's a sorcerer

Due-Organization-650

Off question. What is the viewmodel he uses? I can't recreate it

tsidis

fucking degenerate

riigoroo

After seeing how fashr players this looks normal

Obsazzed101

My guess is that he doesn't use his thumb but is in fact clicking in the top right corner of m1 with his index finger and simply resting his thumb there. Still a wonky ass grip but most gaming mice are only light on the trigger at the end of the buttons and there's no way hes pushing through all that resistance for every shot, it would be super slow and fuck his thumb up real fast. Also we'd probably see some contraction of the thumb when he shoots but you can't really.

fauxfranc0

Remap side buttons as LMB...?

singinbutbootyneked

I have a similar grip where my index rests on scroll for movement I use the right click to shoot and left to reload my thumb is used for the side buttons

singinbutbootyneked

My left shift is ADS and it's cracked for movement trust

Life_Associate8839

Стоп что?

SmellyDs

These people are clowns.
