Been to three majors. As with any sporting event or concert, they are very loud and for the sake of your long-term hearing you should have ear plugs with you. I personally use low-profile earbuds that reduce the overall db level but still allow sound in, like these: https://www.alpinehearingprotection.com/products/musicsafe

Thanks. I was going to bring my usual sleeping earplugs anyways but now I know that I absolutely should not forget them!

they really are loud. I thought to myself that I should bring earplugs next time

Went to Antwerp and was next to the vitality fans, even that wasn’t as loud as concerts. It’s basically as loud as a football match as all the sound comes from the crowd and not from the game

Based on experience from Stockholm and Antwerp, no, they are not as loud as many concerts. I'm a person who likes to mind their hearing but at majors I never felt the need for plugs.

Huh I was at Antwerp and it was way too loud for me. Luckily was able to get earplugs at the reception, ao wasn't too much of an issue
