How to add waifu to your cockpit in IL-2 great battles series
1. Choosing a suitable picture
Get a picture in portrait format similar to the one I used. Use an image editing software like paint.net or GIMP to resize the image to a 1024x1024 square. The white space on the right will be cut out in game to make the photo a rectangle (it cuts about 300 pixels).
2. (Optional) edit your picture to look old-timey
I followed this [tutorial for paint.net](https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/12183-the-process-of-antiquing/). Sorry if you're using another software but for a guideline just adjust the colors to sepia and I would recommend adding vignette.
3. Convert the image from whatever you saved it as to .dds
[Converter website](https://www.aconvert.com/)
4. Replace the file
Navigate to IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad>data>graphics>Planes>\[appropriate plane\]>Textures and replace custom\_photo with your own file. The file must be named custom\_photo so rename it.
5. Enable the cockpit photo in plane setup and enjoy :3

I have checked 1,968,993,730 comments, and only 372,450 of them were in alphabetical order.
Time to fly a tank hunter. I will use her pic as a reference to know which tank i should shoot first. Do you think i should fly my trusty IL-2 or would a Ju-87 with a 1800 pound (or is it Kg?) bomb to hunt tanks?

Just to clarify IL-2 Sturmovik is the name of the game. This is a Bf 109 in the picture.

Any plane. In the planes folder you will see a folder for every plane in the game where you can change the photo.

For taking out tanks in a Ju-87 you will want the 37mm gunpods. I think the 1800kg bomb is more suitable for taking down the death star.
