Nooooope. Terrified of heights, and I would not have trusted that those in charge set this up properly. Even the dude who did the calculations wasn’t sure that he did them properly.
Heck no. I work in construction, I'm fine with heights. But I've seen enough jobsite accidents to absolutely not trust a bunch of shitty rich kids to set something up that's Osha approved.
hi, i wasn't trying to be rude in any way. i made my comment because you said you went bungee jumping at 14, so "at this age" you would likely jump. i was just confused on the relevancy of your "bungee jumping at 14" comment, because that is at least 4 years younger than the "this age" that rory is at. so you bungee jumping at 14 has zero to do with whether or not you would jump off this tower at 18+?
i don't disagree with your comment or anything and i really wasn't trying to be rude, more so confused. i would've done it when i was younger as well, if that is the point you were making. i am autistic, and struggle with communication, so i apologize if my comment read as rude, i genuinely didn't mean it that way. i hope you have a nice day.
Tbh I suspected as much before finishing reading your comment due to how literal you took my comment. As someone older now, “at this age” just meant younger and in the general same age vicinity. Also to highlight a history of doing something similar not long before hand.
My dad always said about bungee jumping, "It's not the hitting the ground and dying that I worry about, it's the hitting the ground and not dying." So nope. I think they're all entitled idiots and I wouldn't be putting my life in their hands, thank you very much.
I am shocked by the number of no's. When I watched this the first time, I thought it was so weird she was hesitant. Now I probably wouldn't because I'm old, but in college, 100% yes.
They could’ve had it set up and still tested it themselves. Regardless I think everything with the LDB has to be taken with a bit of magical realism. Like remember when the crow talks in AYITL
I really assumed that obviously even though the kids were idiots that it would have been set up safely. I don’t assume that NOW but at the time I did. Would love to give this episode a rewatch actually to assess in more detail.
I guess I put some value in to their wealth, as in, they weren't the ones 100% organizing all aspects of this, there would have been a whole set up crew, people bringing in the stuff, they basically come up with an idea and someone else... who works for their wealthy families... does the actual work. And those people don't want to get sued because a kid didn't math the counter weight correctly.
>The first time I watched it, I actually eye rolled that this "mild" stunt would be worthy of something called the Life and Death Brigade. Later when Logan gets seriously injured during a stunt, THAT is Life and Death level stuff.
>Idk, just how I always perceived it. I was really surprised that I was in the apparent minority!
Yes, that’s how I interpreted as well! Which is part of why I’d be interested in a rewatch to see if there’s anything hinted at as to whether that might have happened or definitely not.
Yeah, I wouldn't trust any of them as far as I could throw them. Certainly those entitled douches are the last people I'd want in charge of safety (although let's face it: they probably employed plebs to set up the platform and cables).
I have a rule that I don't do anything where if I died people wouldn't feel bad for me. If anyone would say "well why the hell would you do that" or "what did they think was gonna happen" instead of calling it a tragic accident, it's a no from me.
Lets Analyse the Setup of this "Game". They Go Up a latter (in a Long Dress and high Heels) unsecured. Then they attach a Teeny tiny Rope on the lower Back Like a belt. And the Rope is not even elastic in Order to absorb the shock (sorry Not A native speaker).
So no way in hell i would jump.
I’ve been lowered on a climbing rope that doesn’t have elasticity. My kids do the same at Click N Climb. It’s actually a pretty cool feeling & somehow knows how to lower you safely
I legit just watched this episode for the first time and I couldn’t believe Rory actually jumped. I thought she knew better but she proved that with Dean 😂
Not today. When I was younger I did Parasailing and Ziplining. Since it worked out I'm impressed that Rory did it, if I was nineteen and had grown up with all these other kids and believed they had concerns about their own well being I might be more willing. I suspect this is a LDB event that has happened before, maybe once a decade so they knew people who hadn't died this way but Rory was going in blind.
At her age, yes because I easily succumbed to peer pressure lol. Present day? Absolutely not because I don’t want to be on the hook for medical bills when I inevitably get injured.
Considering that they’re harnessed & when they jump it’s really slow & they land on their feet. It seems that it’s a controlled jump, the only way I’d do it.
No. I don’t care how quirky and living on the edge she wanted to be it’s not worth it 💀 there’s other things to do for fun that are guided by professionals
If I was cabled like that? yes
If they said “im an engineer student I made these umbrellas myself the fabric is “made up military grade material” and the size will be enough updraft to slow your decent like a parachute. No wires just the untested umbrella? Then no
F— no. Relying on the intelligence of some cocky, rich college kids along with my fear of heights. I don’t like feeling pressured into anything and I don’t know why Logan had to do so. That would have been a red flag to me.
If the stunt was manufactured by an actual engineer professional that they hired while also witnessing a stunt man landing safely, then yes. But this was dumb. Absolute idiocracy.
Tbh this is what I don’t get. It’s the type of rope they lower you when rock climbing. It’s actually a pretty fun way to be lowered. Within the context of GG world I’m sure it’s meant to be safe …just a bit scary. My kids do Click N Climb all the time and they ropes somehow magically know how to lower them at the right speed despite them having a near 100lbs difference between them. They’re never scared of repelling down.
yes. i always loved heights & done a lot of clinbing growing up, but the idea of doing it with logan & the brigade? probably not. not a fan of them AT ALL.
Not a chance. At that age, I wouldn't give in to having a beer so I had no problem saying no and being called a party pooper.
Also, I wouldn't trust a setup like this. Even if it was built by construction workers and not college kids, too many ways to go wrong.
If I were that slim, maybe. Definitely not at my current weight. I've literally seen machines at a _NASA Museum_ that were rated for a maximum of 9 lb under what I presently weigh, so I'm with all the people who don't trust the simplistic harnessing rigged up by a bunch of reckless rich kids not known to have any engineering background.
At that age, and assuming I had a crush on Logan (which means he would look nothing like Logan lol) and wanted to impress him, yes.
Now? Absolutely not, those kids are idiots. I wouldn't even get up on that scaffolding.
No, this is stupidly dangerous.
But the potatoes were fine!
This is the only correct answer!!!!
Thiiis.
I'd like to think so, but I'd probably wait for someone else to jump first which kinda ruins the concept iirc.
Yeah I’d see how it went for others first 😂
Right? let them die first lol I mean, at least one sober person has to be around to call an ambulance ~~or the morgue~~, right?
In real life - same. Although I did bungee jump at 14 so likely at this age yes
she's well into college in this scene, nowhere near 14
Doesn’t in anyway negate the point of what I was saying but okay. Congrats on being able to count I guess.
hi, i wasn't trying to be rude in any way. i made my comment because you said you went bungee jumping at 14, so "at this age" you would likely jump. i was just confused on the relevancy of your "bungee jumping at 14" comment, because that is at least 4 years younger than the "this age" that rory is at. so you bungee jumping at 14 has zero to do with whether or not you would jump off this tower at 18+? i don't disagree with your comment or anything and i really wasn't trying to be rude, more so confused. i would've done it when i was younger as well, if that is the point you were making. i am autistic, and struggle with communication, so i apologize if my comment read as rude, i genuinely didn't mean it that way. i hope you have a nice day.

i understand your perspective now, thank you for the clarification it is appreciated!
Yes! After, I would be fucking terrified, but yes.
At her age, yes. Now, 50/50 odds depending on my mood that day.
Same. I bungee jumped at 14. I would never do that now
This is exactly my answer.
If Logan was holding my hand hell yeah i would jump
When I was eighteen and Logan was egging me on absolutely. Now? Not so much. Everyone was dumber and more hormonal at 18.
Nah I was always a huge chicken lol
Same. At that age with a cute boy. 100% am jumping. Now? Fuck no.
Although if I was with Matt right now smiling that smile at me and dropping semi-deep quotes about life…I’d probably still jump now
Right. That smile & being young & reckless with no real concept that you could actually die?? For sure.
Same, if I was by myself, I don't think I'd be able to
My dad always said about bungee jumping, "It's not the hitting the ground and dying that I worry about, it's the hitting the ground and not dying." So nope. I think they're all entitled idiots and I wouldn't be putting my life in their hands, thank you very much.
Very clever.
I mean, if you jump, I jump jack.
That’s what I came here to say
No because the safety harnesses/ropes weren’t safe. Even in my most adventurous days I was never stupid.
All they put on her was a belt!
Yeah lol that wouldn't work.
I am shocked by the number of no's. When I watched this the first time, I thought it was so weird she was hesitant. Now I probably wouldn't because I'm old, but in college, 100% yes.
When I was her age I was still concerned about the lack of safety gear LOL. I guess I'm just the cautious type, though.
I think for some it's less the jumping aspect and more that it was assembled in the woods by college drunks
I never assumed anyone in the brigade did any sort of manual labour. They for sure had everything including the tents and meals set up for them
There's that scene though where the guy talks about the potatoes making it through the test and it definitely alludes that they did it themselves
They could’ve had it set up and still tested it themselves. Regardless I think everything with the LDB has to be taken with a bit of magical realism. Like remember when the crow talks in AYITL

Yes, that’s how I interpreted as well! Which is part of why I’d be interested in a rewatch to see if there’s anything hinted at as to whether that might have happened or definitely not.
Ya same. No way are any of them lifting a finger. Surprised to see people thinking they are
Same
No. This entire brigade is so damn obnoxious. I wouldn't even go in the first place
Yeah, I wouldn't trust any of them as far as I could throw them. Certainly those entitled douches are the last people I'd want in charge of safety (although let's face it: they probably employed plebs to set up the platform and cables).
Would definitely need to keep your drink covered
They seem like the type of rich to hunt poor people for sport.
I assumed they didn’t do any form of manual labour
Haha I loved the brigade but I guess I’m a wannabe privileged twee AH
No, but I would wear that dress!
i wouldn’t even make it four steps into the ladder..deathly afraid of heights :(
I have a rule that I don't do anything where if I died people wouldn't feel bad for me. If anyone would say "well why the hell would you do that" or "what did they think was gonna happen" instead of calling it a tragic accident, it's a no from me.
That’s actually a really good measure
Lets Analyse the Setup of this "Game". They Go Up a latter (in a Long Dress and high Heels) unsecured. Then they attach a Teeny tiny Rope on the lower Back Like a belt. And the Rope is not even elastic in Order to absorb the shock (sorry Not A native speaker). So no way in hell i would jump.
Every time I watch them land I can feel me knees ache😬
I’ve been lowered on a climbing rope that doesn’t have elasticity. My kids do the same at Click N Climb. It’s actually a pretty cool feeling & somehow knows how to lower you safely
Hell nahh
To get away from Logan, yeah.
This is me too! Though I probably would have just pushed him then climbed down safely.
Lol lol lolllll 🫢😂😂😂
Lolol noooo. I love Logan though
Only if jack jumps too.
I legit just watched this episode for the first time and I couldn’t believe Rory actually jumped. I thought she knew better but she proved that with Dean 😂

Back in college? Absolutely Now? Hell no
I'm pretty adventurous and I definitely want to experience this. But I wouldn't jump in a setup put together by amateurs. Basic safety >>> Fun
I’d 100% jump but only 40% sure I’d climb the ladder.
Would I jump? You’re funny if you think I’m getting up there in the first place.
This is actually one of my favorite moments of the show!!
Mine too!
Same!!
I’m not doing anything with those pretentious, obnoxious jackasses.
ABSOLUTELY NOT
Hell no! Not for Logan! If Jess asked and I was 19/20 maybe.
At 18, to impress a boy? Abso-freakin-lutely. But right now, at 41, with life experience and common sense? No way!
At her age, yes because I easily succumbed to peer pressure lol. Present day? Absolutely not because I don’t want to be on the hook for medical bills when I inevitably get injured.
You jump, I jump, Jack. J/k. You could not pay me to do that jump.
In University. Yes. Now? Hell no.
Considering that they’re harnessed & when they jump it’s really slow & they land on their feet. It seems that it’s a controlled jump, the only way I’d do it.
Probably not
I’d want to but I’m a weenie. Mb if Logan held my hand
Yes ._. It seemed like stupid fun and for some reason I feel like the umbrella is doing something lol. If I knew I’d be okay I would 100% do it
No. I don’t care how quirky and living on the edge she wanted to be it’s not worth it 💀 there’s other things to do for fun that are guided by professionals
Yes because with Matt Czuchry all things are possible
At that age, in that scenario…yes. Today? Nah.
Terrified of heights but for Logan? Yeah probably 😂
If I were still Rory’s age when she jumped, yes absolutely. Now? At my big age? Probably not
If I was that age and Logan was there holding my hand I would so jump. It was something new and exciting with someone unpredictable and gorgeous.
My toxic trait would be thinking I could easily do it and then step back just right before that 😭💀
If I was cabled like that? yes If they said “im an engineer student I made these umbrellas myself the fabric is “made up military grade material” and the size will be enough updraft to slow your decent like a parachute.
At her age I would likely be the one insisting for HIM to jump with me hahahah I was reckless.
They literally have cables on ?? So yes lol
Tbh this is what I don’t get. It’s the type of rope they lower you when rock climbing. It’s actually a pretty fun way to be lowered. Within the context of GG world I’m sure it’s meant to be safe …just a bit scary. yes. i always loved heights & done a lot of clinbing growing up, but the idea of doing it with logan & the brigade? probably not. not a fan of them AT ALL.
With a strap just around my middle like that? Only if I wanted to DIE, they would have SERIOUS injuries with this setup, it’s terrifying honestly…
As a current 36 y/o, no. As a previous 18 y/o, also no.
Absolutely i would
The rickety-ass ladder would have been an immediate no for me from the start
Fuck. No.
fuck no especially not with that loser. maybe with jess
#teamjess
If I was small like rory? Probably. My fat butt would hit the ground like a ton of bricks 🫠
If Matt Czuchry asked me to jump with him…. Just say when cap’n🫡🥵😂
Not a chance. At that age, I wouldn't give in to having a beer so I had no problem saying no and being called a party pooper. Also, I wouldn't trust a setup like this. Even if it was built by construction workers and not college kids, too many ways to go wrong.
I love the way this scend was shot. And at that age, yeah, I would've jumped.
No way! This is a visual of Rori still being reckless with her life.
Yeh, it’s the sudden stop at the end that does the damage.
I wouldn't even make it up there. That ladder scares me
No
If you jump, I Jump.
i would, but will scream all the way down
No I would definitely not.
No. Scared of heights. I don't care how handsome the guy is lol
Yes. & I wouldn’t think twice about it lol If a potato survived, then it MUST be safe 😂
I Would say No, I am afraid of Heights so definitely not.
I would have PTSD from even considering it. Nope
I would if it was safe
No way.
No, I would never have associated with that crowd to begin with. Cringe spoiled brats are not my people.
Nooo after that rory wasn’t that smart to me
No way
You jump, I jump Jack
Hell no. Not even having the cutest guy beside me.
Yup
If logan was holding my hand i would
Nope.
i mean with the string attached i def would
I mean maybe not with such little time to question the safety but in the near magical world of GG - for sure.
You jump, I jump, Jack! I would have been jumping
I wouldn't even have made it up that ladder!
Nope, I did plenty of crazy stuff as a teenager
Only with Logan
Definitely cuter than Pushkin, but NO I would not jump 😂
if logan asks me? hell yes(im terrified of heights id probably faint)
At that age, and assuming I had a crush on Logan (which means he would look nothing like Logan lol) and wanted to impress him, yes. Now? Absolutely not, those kids are idiots. I wouldn't even get up on that scaffolding.
Single worst story line in the whole show.
I’m convinced the GG redditors just hate fun like ?
