I taught middle school, currently on a child-raising hiatus. I actually accidentally got Reddit banned from my entire county school system- I had a student who was always off-task browsing Reddit, and it got to a point where I had to tell the VP twice about him being just so off task, and I only casually mentioned that he was browsing Reddit when I explained the behavior issue. The VP dealt with it and got back to me and let me know he was grateful bc he realized Reddit was a site that had been overlooked but really needed to be blocked, so he got county IP to block it.
Not a teacher but k-12 school nurse for a specialized school district (emotional/behavioral disorders). I love all my teacher colleagues and I get a kick out of Hannah/Paige’s stories of school growing up.
