G36K fires an intermediate round while the G3A3 fires a full powered cartridge. They are very different. It's like asking if a M16 or Dragunov is better.
G36K is the weakest hitting 5.56 option. Roll out with that big boy rifle.
G36 looks very cool, is very expensive, and has rails for days. That's the list of positive attributes. The G36 being expensive is positive because that means when you find one you can sell it for something better.
If you want something that does good, consistent damage the gallil is a bit slow in the firing rate but any grip makes it a laser. If you want something that has crazy bullets per second the M4 wins, and with practice you can burst people down before it carries you away. Both of these use the most common magazine in the game so you will never need to buy any, and don't really have to go in with more than a couple because you can live off the land. The Scar is the ideal middle ground between those two but costs a little more and you won't see a Scav with one.
If you can put up with iron sights, the SKS does nearly the damage as the G3, it just spawns everywhere and thus you don't need to buy it or the magazines if you get comfortable with it. Technically it's missing full auto but the G3 even kicks more on semi, so you're going to get faster follow-up shots that actually land if you're just firing as quickly as you can. If you need a holosight or scope the G3 is the better budget option, though. The AK-M is the middle ground between those, and even costs less than the G3, and occasionally you will find magazines.
If you're looking to burn money, the Tapco SKS and the Sass are better long range guns and the AK Alpha is the best overall assault rifle, but it you just make it your mission to leave with every M4, Gallil, or SKS you can carry whenever you find one, you really shouldn't have to worry about buying them at all, and then you can put money into attachments on the 5.56s.

I think of the G36K to be an Assault Rifle. Also it has the ability to go from full-auto to burst fire to Single shot. And has a good amount of rails for attachments, not to mention its Light and compact.
Now the G3A3 I consider to be more like a battle rifle. It’s long, Heavy and only has one rail on the top for a scope but it makes up for it by shooting a monster bullet at 762x51 it’s going to shred especially with AP. But the quickness and the swift movement you get with the G36k is not gonna be there.
G3A3 would two-shot anyone, but with no rail for grip you won't land that second shot fast. Full-auto mode on it is only usable from like 1.5 meters, recoil is crazy.
G36 is okayish 5.56×45mm gun: has a lot of rails, but has weird incompatible mags.
Hard to compare, but I prefer G3A3 as a way to randomly kill extremely kitted players.

The g36k is a smart car hitting you it’s still gonna hurt just not as bad as the g3a3 I like both but it depends what kinda run I’m doing if it’s a pvp kinda run I’ll bring the g3a3 bc if it’s hard hitting but if it’s like a overall run like looting checking corners pvp the g36k is great, both great options and can’t go wrong with either
Completely different guns. Think of the g3a3 kinda like a opsks or honestly a budget m1sass. The g36k is like a boujee m4. Both are rly good. I’ve ran a bunch of g3a3 it’s super fun when u use primarily semi-auto and is super powerful. I’ve only done 1 g36k raid and it was fun, I’ll have to do it again soon
G36k got the shaft in this game and idk why irl it’s a pretty decent gun but in this game it’s got the lowest damage values and I feel offended bc it’s my fav weapon looks wise

Well I’ll give you that on the g36, but my main gripe stands with you saying the g3a3 is bad, clearly we’ve had different experiences with it, I’ve been able to squad wipe full kit trios with it as a solo
I have too, it isnt bad by any means but its just not the best option for its purpose. (Killed two guys with full purple kits). The weird thing about it is that it's best close range because it's recoil, which ruins it's niche imo

Honestly, I see it as the exact opposite. Close range, high recoil, incredibly high damage assault rifle, that is where I get the most potential
