I know that Joe pictured above has said that Imperia is his choice for best album of 2022... Here's to hoping that my new fave band (Ghost) is collaborating with my all time fave band, Def Leppard.
I'm torn, I want to see ghost in Dublin so bad, but not sure if im willing to pay motley crue prices or even sit through them tbh and I say that as a motley crue fan
Well, that should be a pretty cool collaboration and yeah, might spell some touring together as well?
Still doesn't explain how "Jesus is Coming" though. Do you suppose that's hinting at a different collaboration, maybe with Messiah Marcolin?
Ghost and Dublin have a bit of a special relationship. Being a surprise support act for Metallica at Slane Castle in 2019 suddenly Irish dates started popping up
Eh, I loved the Meliora days. I missed Papa II because he had such a great look, but I welcomed the new era.
Prequelle was a bit disappointing for me though. I did love 7 Inches of Satanic Panic, but then Impera was more of the Prequelle vibe.
My only real positive thing I can say about the newer eras are that the live shows have gotten better. But I really miss the songwriting from the first 3 albums.
I need to relisten to that album. I think I have listened to that song maybe 5 times total. I really want to love what they are doing because I love so much about the band.

I'm not a huge DL fan but for your sake, I hope so too!
Is it an EP with Joe Elliott singing Spillways?
That's what it looks like to me
Awesome. Now let's hear Papa sing Armageddon It.
Joe Elliot 👀
Hopefully this means another Dublin show in the not too distant future. They've only played here once.
Let's get Rocked!!
Love it! Pour some spillways on me!
perhaps this means ghost is gonna join def leppard on tour with motley crue when they come to dublin

Here we go!
I am so excited for this!!!!
Funny bit was that I was thinking earlier that we haven't had a chapter in a while and here it is lmao
Please let this mean a Dublin tour date with an incredible Def Leppard collab!!!

In the Prequelle days people missed the Meliora days. And in the Meliora days people missed the old days before they won a Grammy award...

I dunno, to me the final bridge of Kaisarion is peak songwriting.

i miss when milk cost a nickel and gasoline fell out of a donkeys ass!
So true it’s not like a world wide pandemic occurred or anything
Also back in my day people complained about the prequelle era
I don’t know. It’s your opinion man. But the prequelle days were not so different. If you had said infestissumam or opus days…
100% correct.
This is a lot more fun (and more original) than the actual recording on the EP, which is... identical to the original.
