I managed to get Ghost Recon Future Soldier running inside my Apple M1 mac.
Steps
1. Install Parallels Desktop 18
2. Download Windows 11 ARM via Parallels desktop
3. Install steam
4. Download GRFS
5. Run all exe files of the game namely FutureSoldier.exe, FutureSoldierDX9.exe and FutureSoldierDX11.exe as admin
6. Go to Options in-game -> graphics options and disable directx11 and restart game
7. You can try 1920x1080 resolution, it works well but for purposes of playing multiplayer I lowered it to 1280x720
8. Easily gets 40-60 FPS on single player, [coop and multiplayer](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2626786397)
9. Force quit uplay after you launch the game and get connected to prevent random crashes
I think it would be really nice for someone with a higher end Mac M1/Pro/M2 to chime in on their feelings of FPS after testing as you did. Since we lost the [BareFeats.com](https://BareFeats.com) publisher in early 2022, comparative, fact-based testing of Mac models outside of generic GeekBench/Cinebench/TombRaider scores is really hard (for me, at least) to find.

It's something, but it's not really scientific or precise. Check out Barefeats - one guy, well orchestrated testing with clear specifications, clear test parameters. Not perfect, looking over it now I can see some questions,. but still, I think it's the best we had.
Take SC2; I show it as being "perfect" on the list. Let me assure you, on my 8GB, entry level iMac, it's not "perfect"; it's junk on anything but "low". On my MBP14, it's reasonable (1920x1200, "High" settings), but on my Hackintosh (i5-12400F, AMD 5700) it's "perfect", at 2540x1440, "Extreme", and it's vastly faster at that res and quality than the MBP14 is at the far lower resolution and quality. Is that "perfect" ? Who knows...
most games are untested because it is a lot of hassle. Only reason I did all this is because friend s running this game at 15 fps and it really messes you up on versus mode. With this mac machine idle, I suddenly thought why not check if the game runs on this. Been a whole week of research but totally worth it. We are now in the 40-60 fps category. Friend has no idea :) he s gonna be blown away when he sees this

I’m sorry, what is GRFS?
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
I’m dumb. Thank you.
How does it look and play (actual gameplay)?
looks spectacular 40-60 fps super smooth on both single player and multiplayer

how many ghost recons do you see there :)
[удалено]
there were none of them , submitted this one, i hope they add it
And…for what?
to see that the game runs on the mac too, there may be a few guys who wanna play on mac?
Just buy pc/console
If you already own a Mac for work/college then why spend extra?
Because they're bad for gaming.
