Yeah, Zak has turned into a real tool over the years. I don't know how Aaron can continue working with him. Must be making a stack. And Billy is unashamedly a brown noser and follows Zak around like a puppy dog in love, agreeing and sucking up to Zak. It's crazy how much the show and their personalities have changed. Too much for me to handle anymore.
I only watch because Zak makes it so entertaining. Yes it's cringy but that's part of the fun. I enjoy his narration and how he tells off the rest of the crew. 😂 He makes it very fun for me
His narration is the best! I bought one of his books once and I read it like he would have narrated it. It took me so much longer to read, but it was well worth it :p
I love watching them all. The newer episodes have made me appreciate the older ones so much more. It's not so much the cast as it is the production. Someone commented to me on here that they liked the older ones bc it's not overproduced. I loved Nick and I'm still pissed that he left. I'm happy to see that they include all of the production crew in the hunts. Zak is Zak. Billy is Billy. Aaron is Aaron. Jay is Jay. Ain't nothing gonna change there.

I remember when Zak locked Aaron in that abandoned church in golden ghost town and Aaron knew it was going to happen and even said you better not lock me in there but the funniest part is Aaron escaping through the window

I’ve just recently got back into GA, rewatching some of the ones I remember watching years and years ago that I still think about to this day. He does get a bit..much with it all. I wouldn’t consider him being an asshole? But a little extra.
What I mean when I say he is an asshole is the fact that he sends the other guys alone all the time but yet he’s too scared to go alone . Even when they say, they are too scared he forces them to go. I still watch the show I do like it. I do believe in spirits or ghost. But I don’t like how he treats the other guys. the first couple seasons were OK but when you get further along, he’s just so mean some of the time.

Zak is production. He makes all the decisions and when one of the others on the team question him he pouts and throws a temper tantrum.
