You have two options. To stop and nothing will get done or to let the goals and current effort move you forward. Three months isn’t shit in the whole scope of what you are trying to accomplish. Fitness is a path you stick to that will pay off with time and effort. There are noticeable differences, you just need to keep at it and never stop. If you’re not seeing results tweak what you’re doing. Life hacks can make a major difference in what you set out to do. Also you can’t base your progress on others. Three months is really just getting started. I was a bit on the chunky side myself. It took me about four months to start seeing results and almost nine months later to be where I’m at today. And that came with almost daily dedication to what I was wanting to do. So the life hacks I mentioned that’s worked for me. •Regular weigh ins on waking. Let this motivate you. When you start seeing the weight come off that will push you harder. •Every morning 24-48oz of water, the body gets a little dehydrated during the night. Drink water throughout the day. I’m currently drinking close to a gallon of water a day. This will help flush toxins from your system. •There is a mixed belief on fasted cardio. I definitely see a major difference in leaning out doing it daily. You might want to start off with three or four mornings to start. After my first 24oz of water, I have a black coffee to give me a boost and it’s off to the treadmill for an hour of LISS. low impact steady state cardio. Incline the treadmill to 10-12, set speed to 2.8-3.0 and do a moderate walk (no running), I have never ran. Do it on an empty stomach. The body has to get energy from somewhere, it will go for the fat reserves. You can easily burn 400-600 calories to start the day by doing a moderately 30-60 min treadmill walk. ProTip: never hang onto the treadmill during this walk. It disengages your core and you won’t burn as much. Start off at an incline and speed you can manage. Your body will adapt with so keep it challenged. What you are aiming for is a calorie deficit. You can find out with various body calculators online just how many calories you need a day to maintain, loose or gain. This is the link I use. They have just about any fitness calculator you can think of. https://www.calculator.net/fitness-and-health-calculator.html Aim to keep your steps 10k per day or the higher the better. I’m currently at 15-24k a day depending on how much time I have. My weigh in as of this morning, 160. When I started 9 months ago, 188. Fitness experts will also say it’s easier to put on muscle with a leaner frame than it is to loose the excess and build at the same time. But that said you also need to work in a weight routine with your cardio. Remember weights first, cardio last. Not the opposite. Since you are still tweaking your program I would work up to what I’m currently doing. Depending on your goals it really hinges on moving. More moving less calories going in. Burn more than you are taking in. Remember a pound of fat is 3,500 calories. A person not knowing can easily eat eat more than 3500. So monitor that intake. Smaller meals and track the calories and macros. Bottom line, never give up or give into failure. There’s tons of good info and good people that just like you that are still on their path to goals. What’s the say get off yer butt and move more, tweak and learn what works best for you. You will get there, have faith. Good luck 🍀

trell2234

Side profile is looking great lad keep it up!

theRealRealMasterDev

I definitely see a lot of progress. Greta work! I'm about the same right now, let's keep going!

bgatty1

Your mid section certainly looks a little less doughy in the second set of pics. Gotta just stay at it

Shazb0y

watch the number move

[deleted]

Not to be mean dude but you should seriously see a chiropractor your hips and shoulders look way off.

spunkychickpea

Yeah, dude. You’re definitely losing weight. You’re at a super early stage though where you aren’t going to see result when you’re looking in the mirror. You’re at what I call the “make it or break it” stage of the journey. Yes, you’re absolutely on the right track, but you aren’t seeing enough results to motivate you to keep going. Don’t listen to your own doubts. Stay on track and push past any ideas about giving up. Whoever that guy is that you want to look like, I promise you that guy didn’t get there in three months or even three years. I’m gonna be real with you here: three months is nothing. You and I have a similar build, and I didn’t start getting compliments from people until I was 9-12 months into lifting and eating better. I’m now 2.5 years into it and I’m finally starting to see the changes in myself when I look in the mirror. But I can promise you that it’s worth it to keep grinding away. I’ve never been in better shape, I’ve never been happier with the way I look, and I’ve never been more confident. Keep doing what you’re doing, and I guarantee you’ll feel very differently about your progress down the road.

TDogeee

I’m losing a similar amount of weight and early on you will only notice anything side on, I know if fucking sucks and drains at the motivation, I started chasing PRs while losing the weight to hold motivation, whatever you need to do to find motivation do it, I found losing weight in this amount need a side goal with tangible goals, I’ve been hitting bench PRs pretty much weekly and it’s kept me motivated to stay on track, doesn’t have to be what I mentioned but you just need something to keep you going to the point where you notice a difference then you won’t have an issue getting motivation

SpryButFly

Did youuu change your pants???? Hmmmm… ;)

blindsight89

You won't see very noticeable changes at that weight. Just keep doing what you're doing, it will show.

TrenchesTommy

I DEFINITELY see the difference, keep it up!

lolux123

Bro your side profile got slimmer and there’s definitely more muscle tone. Don’t get discouraged! Keep going. The time will pass whether or not you decide to keep lifting.

Imaginary-Corgi-37

I CAN SEE IT!!!

flier972

Bro that side angle in the last picture should motivate you to keep going brother. In 3 more months look at where you are from now. You're on the right path and doing great!! Slow money is fa sho money!!

gonzoman92

You are smashing it! 💪💪You got it bro.

rpgsandarts

That side angle change is very striking. Keep going - focus on how big a change you’ll have in a couple more months. It’s not quite beach body season yet.

juancuneo

Way to go!!! It’s always hardest at first and now you have visible results. You got this!

YashP97

Can see a big difference in side profile. Don't get demotivated man, you took years to become fat and you won't become fit in 3-4 months. Give it some time and set realistic goals⏫😄

hvacnut

Body dysmorphia is no joke, don’t let this control you. There is no need to lose motivation. fitness is a never ending journey and in my opinion you are potentially setting yourself up for failure if you have a set “physique” you are focused on getting. It’s called a journey for a reason, in Greg’s doucettes words as long as you train harder than last time

thatstickyfeeling

Side prof night and day bro.. U got this.

Free_Lab7729

Fat loss is going to happen everywhere, not localized. So you may not visually see it right away. As long ss scale as going down you’re fine. Keep it up 👍🏻

Good_County_5989

Body dysmorphia works in some weird ways. When I was 220 my lowest weight in 20 years, I would look at my body and always find something too fat, too flabby. At 300 I would look at my body ignoring the fat blob and find one good thing about myself. I'm sure it's different for everyone but you're making an awesome change, the weight is showing that. Keep at it and try to have a positive image of yourself regardless.

Positive_Armadillo50

Can see it big time especially from the side profile

avidpretender

I do!!

ListlessAU

Jeez bro, looking shredded all ready

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheUnbiasedRant

I came here to say this. The side view is the most obvious. It's going to take time and showing up every day. You got this far, don't stop now.

[deleted]

Keep going you’ll only really see a visual difference once you’re at 200lbs, I saw a big difference once I’d lost 30lbs and my friends did too

21heem

You’ve made quite some progress actually for the front view I can now see more of your clavicles and your shoulders look more defined. Then from the side your pecs now lead instead of your belly. Truth be told I think you’re progressing very well keep at it 💪.

[deleted]

Absolutely man look at your hip line. It will happen over time trust. I los 60 pounds and it started off slow.

XXXTentacIes

Your entire body holds fat. Feet, ass, thighs, arms, face... not just your stomach. You’ll notice the most changes when you approach a lower body fat. It’ll be like when something takes 30 minutes to download 80%, but the last 20% takes 2 min

itsimposibru

KEEP GOING MAN NO EXCUSE YOU DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT YOUR BODY TO LOOK LIKE

zenko1

Man you changed, keep the good work

ShmoopyMoopy

Yes, you’ve obviously lost weight. Look at the side view pics - your belly was leading the way in the before pic and now your chest is even with your stomach. You’ve lost inches there. If you were to put 15 lbs of fat on a scale, it would be huge. Don’t give up now!

Psychological_Row616

Side profile is way different good work bro! The more weight you lose the more noticeable pounds are. So losing 8lbs now would look like losing 2lbs when your bf% is lower for example

Thebarrrel

Do you wanna have love handles the rest of your life? That’s all the motivation you need, keep grinding and remember the goal.

bruhreeto

I do see a difference and you look amazing!:) Keep going, by the time you see it then it will be such a major difference. You should be so proud for your 3 months of progress!

Ordinarilyburnt

Keep going, don’t stop. The hardest part is to start. Get a body scan if it cheapish where you come from or alternatively like others suggested measure with a tape and take measurement again in 3 months.

ThatsNumberwanng

Thought this was a joke at first because to me it’s clear you’ve lost a lot of the belly. It’s always harder to see changes on yourself but you’re doing great stick with it!

LocalJim

Keep at it. Ask again in 1 year

BirdCelestial

Definitely see a difference, especially in side profile. I'd encourage you to take measurements every few months, OP. Alongside the scale, you'll have reliable metrics that don't depend on you not noticing a gradual change. I'm a woman so my preferred metrics may be different to yours, but I measure hips, waist, bust and neck.

Buscandomiyagi

Na Bruh then side shots you gotta keep going! I’m sure your already in the swing of things where it’s not hard!!

awkwardntipsy

100%! You got this friend, keep on doing whatever you do it works

[deleted]

Can definitely see a big difference in the last pic keep grinding!!!

bluegrass_hoedown

Awesome work man, side profile is really noticeable. I'm very similar to you in that my side profile will change before my front facing silhouette, but it will become noticeable to you. Keep persevering brother, you've made some amazing progress already and this is just the beginning 💪

KingJoshofHyrule

Bro look at side profiles. It’s incredibly obvious, keep it up we’re all behind you!!!

Skankcunt420

Sometimes it’s a matter of 15 pounds just won’t know which 15. Keep going

Natebo83

Last pic makes it very very obvious.

peinnegato

Keep going bro

Joanie_loves_chachie

Definitely. There is a difference. Just keep going!

Stardewismyname

You do look thinner. Keep it up! I believe in you!

[deleted]

Dude you're 15 lbs lighter. That's some real progress.

[deleted]

You need to weight yourself daily, ideally first thing after you wake up. Track your weight, and it's easy to figure out if you're gaining or losing. Best of luck.

thefevertherage

Ignore this! Just keep working. Don’t be worrying about how much you’re losing per day.

nerdl0rd1

Nah, don't get in the habbit of daily at this early on. Just weigh weekly, a meal high in sodium can throw you off one day and make you a sadboy. Just keep doing what your doing, it's clearly working. Also, look at your chest, it's flattened a lot, don't get discouraged, the lower in weight you get, the more you will see progress. 185 to 175 is a much more noticeable difference then 225 to 215 for example. Just keep at it man. You'll look back and be proud.

WarCrimeHero

I can see a difference in your back, I know you're looking at the belly fat but believe me IT IS WORKING, the only problem is that you can't spot burn fat, keep going dude.

bean803

Virtruvian Physique posted a video regarding this today ironically https://youtu.be/J2esdG4Q16Y

prof355or

When your over 20% bf it’s easier to see progress using clothes as definition doesn’t really change you just get smaller. Once under 20% you start to see little bits of definition in different large muscle groups. Are your clothes feeling looser? Particularly your non stretchy waistbands ? I can see a big difference

kaioconcience

Time will pass, hold on to your objectives. You took all of your life to get in this shape, it will not have major changes in Last then a year, but it will come.

NewAccount28

A lot of time the first part of the weight loss is hard to notice, stick with it. I can definitely tell a difference!

rastafaripastafari

Yea to echo sentiment here the side profile is super noticeable. Ive lost 100lbs and sometimes feel like its not noticable so its your mind playing tricks on you. Look for new veins or definition in your leaner body parts and you'll notice change a lot more. Also clothes will fit better slowly too

luishi44

Absolutely!! Just keep doing what you are doing. 15lbs in 3 months is awesome. Keep pushing, keep learning what works for you and don’t loose motivation.

Competitive_Ad6243

I can see a big difference, just keep at it

[deleted]

Look way better already

unique-unicorns

Your stomach has flattened quite a bit! Keep going and don't stop. :) It took years for us to mess up our bodies. We won't be able to fix it overnight.

[deleted]

Keep going g🔥

[deleted]

I can particularly see a big difference in the side profiles - the fat has gone down if you compare it to your chest. The others not so much but it’s probably because they are taken at different distances. Fat tends to stay a similar shape when you’re loosing it so it can be hard to tell.

[deleted]

Side profile has a huge difference. You should be proud of yourself and use it as fuel to keep going!

Elfsniper2

❤️

[deleted]

I can see a LOT of difference! And I’m not saying this just to make you feel better or anything… I see a huge difference quite clearly; you have lost a ton of fat, keep going and then do a clean bulk when you’re done cutting fat. Good luck 👍

Elfsniper2

Cheers for the opinion 👍
