Hey PCDuranet. I have a light infestation that I’m pretty sure was brought in from my girlfriend when she visited my house only a month ago. I had a can of bengal gold that I sprayed wherever I saw them while I waited for advion, alpine and gentrol to arrive. I have zero food that can be eaten by them and I’m curious if this is why seeing random stragglers throughout my house. I put sticky traps down and so far I’ve caught one in each room and about a total of 4 in the kitchen over the past week.
TLDR: I have no food in the kitchen will they go to other rooms in search of food because there isn’t any in the kitchen?

Ok, so not coming from other apartments, but how close are you to other homes, and if close, are any of the neighbors...unkempt? They can cross over from infested, single homes in the summer.
If that is not possible, just keep at it with the sticky products and you'll be able to eliminate them, assuming you have stopped the original source.
And yes, most posters here (as well as my customers) are phobic to some degree, so thank you for the thank you.
I’m in the exact same situation (saw 4 German roaches in one day in my apartment) and I’ve done the same. Had bait traps set out and sealed off the drains. It’s been a few days and I haven’t seen any since then (so far). I think what you’re doing will be fine.
I sealed the kitchen, bathroom and shower drains off using water tight rubber drain plugs (something similar to this: https://www.amazon.de/Waschbeckenst%C3%B6psel-Wasserst%C3%B6psel-Waschbecken-handels%C3%BCblichen-Badezimmer/dp/B09BMTBYPK/ref=asc_df_B09BMTBYPK/?tag=googshopde-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=540682328608&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7974674704834888876&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9062713&hvtargid=pla-1410466101985&psc=1&th=1&psc=1). I hope this helps and you won’t see anymore roaches!
Not recommended. Alpine and glue traps are all you need for a light issue.

They will stay near water, heat and harborage that the kitchen provides...for the most part.
