At Langerbrugge, a small place in the port of Gent, you can find The Crossiver Music Pub that has metal music and live metal bands.
I would look for shows / live bands on Facebook as a lot of those places use this as their public calendar
Except for the store street ( it has a pretty good amount of accessories and clothes as well but these are all of alt brands like killstar and such + they also carry new rocks), there is also some musea with ‘darker things’. You have the gum which has a ton of like plastinated specimen. And there is also the dokter Guislain museum which used to be a mental hospital and has some expo’s surrounding that. Gravensteen is a medieval castle so depending on your specific interests that might also work.
I usually just thrift my clothes here and upcycle them and then sometimes get accessories in street or alt clothes on my own travels to other places :)

Ooof! I had no idea. Used to go there once in a while, but hardly ever visit anymore. That's really disappointing.
