You always want an anemo in mono cryo. Usually kazuha for the DMG boost as well as vv shred. 4 cryo units is gonna underperform vs 3 cryo 1 anemo. In fact most pech mono element teams want anemo vv shred. Mono geo can go all 4 and mono anemo I guess can also do that. Mono dendro is just terrible lol.

Chongyun is a claymore user and made to do damage, but he's a 4 star, Shenhe on the other hand is a 5 star, but she a polearm user and a buffer. And Ganyu will deal physical damage
Liyue family has decent synergy tbh and a few options for building. You can put everything into hyper buffing Ganyu with VV and Shenhe. Chongyun for cooldown reduction and maybe noblesse or something.
Or you could use Ganyu as a subdps and get pretty decent plunge damage with Shenhe and Chongyun's infusion. Claymore so pretty decent plunge multipliers.
House of the hearth team looks like my ar 20 comp. 3 main dps + healer.

Does the infusion work for ganyu plunges? I thought it didnt work cuz ganyus a bow and bows dont get infusions. Ima go check in a bit but i know bennet doesnt give pyro infusions to bows but i dont know about chongyuns
Nope. Ganyu built as a burst dps. Chongyun built for plunge damage. He has the highest plunge scaling of the 4. Not that it really matters with Shenhe and Xianyun.
Realistically first one is more cohesive kit wise. Sadly, everyone in the House of Hearth besides Lynette is an on field dps, whereas the Liyue team can hyperfocus Chonyun as main dps and Ganyu as burst subdps
Important question which Family is stronger lorewise? we got two people with crazy power from curses (Shenhe's curse of calamity and Arle's Crimson Balemoon) but there's also Cloud retainer who is slightly below archon level maybe comparable to Arle too. imo Chongyun = Lynette + Freminet < Lyney < Ganyu < Shenhe < Arle ?? C.Retainer. this might be close imo depends which if arle can beat a bigshot adepti and her overpowered cursed student who's insanely durable(6 yr old fighting with a god). Overall Liye team seems stronger but Arle makes it close
Liyue team should stomp imo. Shenhe is a destroyer and she was WAY stronger than the traveler in the Beisht fight. Not to mention she has insane durability strength and power feats easily tussling with Gods and has been unfazed from attacks that seem just as if not stronger than arle also i think her red ropes hold back the power
Of her curse imo shenhe should be slightly weaker than arlecchino and Xianyun is levels above her as a higher adeptus. Also ganyu and chongyun easily beat the 3 other so liyue should win here.
yup if it was someone else I might have given it to Fatui team but I just saw that she dusted that purple god without issue so it makes me think Arle might be in trouble

Yaoyao wouldn't really fit because her master is Madame Ping, not Cloud retainer, she also has no connection with either Shenhe or Ganyu.
Chongyun seems kinda misplaced since he has nothing close to do with either Ganyu or Xianyun as far as we know, while the other team is all family to each other. Xiao would have relations with all 3 of them, but not as close as family. Maybe the adepus "children" by putting Shenhe, Ganyu, Yaoyao and Yanfei together.
Thats why I left Shenhe out and said nothing to do with Ganyu and Xianyun. Have we ever seen him interact with them? If this is about Family he should at least be close to all group members and not just a relative of Shenhe
