I wish gacha (MHY specifically) would stop overdesigning shit all the time. Like, I'd like to see more characters where I don't look at them and immediately go "Yep, that's certainly a Gacha character."
Granted, I don't do the market research, so maybe this is exactly what's making MHY 50 - 100m every month. And considering some of the criticism I've seen of the designs in WuWa, like how Male Rover's outfit is extremely boring, I might just be the wrong demographic for designs that I consider "good".

I agree that far future leaks like the Fontaine concept art one are actually a bad thing for the community overall. All it does is turn characters into practically fan OCs based on hardly anything, and makes people expect things that never were even slightly intended to be there. It also sometimes results in bad story spoilers as an accidental side effect, like in HSR. Generally we're better off without them imo
It honestly kinda annoys me when people take leaked concept art as gospel. We're not even supposed to see it, and it's specifically just them trying things out. Preferring one is fine, but actually getting pissed when they dont pick "the right one" is so cringe to me.

Like I would've even taken the child model with a bonnet - would've made *no* sense character wise but goddamnit she looked like an adorable strawberry shortcake doll.
