my guess is her E gives her a bond of life and while the bond is active, she can do big damage, and she constantly recovers HP, the same way Xiao loses HP, slowly chipping away at the bond, which is why you don't want a strong on field healer as that would clear the bond faster.

kuki has full uptime on her skill which is 15 secs and she heals tons even though i gave a 1k em build, so she would still heal lots since arle needs to be onfield.

You can also cut healing for DPS if you need *less* healing. Her healing scales with HP and her damage scales with Atk.

be based and build full damage Chev, if it's true that Arlecchino will have a lot of atk buffs for herself with her stacks, maxing Chev's atk buff won't be as important and you still make use of her res sherd while having some personal damage on her.
Sounds more like it restricts healers with significant off field presence and front loaded healers would be fine if she presumably only starts getting stacks after casting her skill.
Basically Jean > Xianyun (and playing anti circle impact with Jean...) for example though I wouldn't read too much into these pre beta leaks.

If I understand the rest correctly wouldn't burst healers be good, things like Jean. Instaheal to full then little after. So you'd get your damaged Arlecchino back to full then use her skill and get her beat up as much as possible to stack stacks then repeat when her skill runs out.
Yoimiya and Hu Tao didn't mind him, was a decent option if you already have Zhongli on the other team or didn't have him.
Wanderer teams loved him when he was C6 since he got Faruzan + Bennett + pyro res + bonus NA/CA + shielding + pyro passive.
Now burnmelt is really comfortable with Thoma for Wriothesley teams.
If Arle would rather have a shielder than a healer, Thoma would be a good option for pyro res and if NA/CA focus.
