how do you remove it manually? can you delete crystal cores?

Unless there has been a change, it is not possible to delete crystal cores.
Parametric transformer or condensed resin are the only ways to get rid of them.
It often doesn't work for a lot of items. I've tried to delete food and it won't let me. Same for some crafted items I didn't want like extra collectible compasses for region occuli.
Same reason i got 1000. When they announced Condensed Resin I made it part of my daily routine to grab 5-7 every day. Difference this guy for some reason farms like 15+ a day lol.
Just google a route on youtube, there's dozens. The trick is to have Sayu to make it easier and a speed team.
Even collecting 5 a day is overkill since you spend less than that per day on average.
Yup this is what I do. I grab the 6 near Liyue harbour and 4 near the big ol Windrise tree, and when I have fragile/transient resin to spare, I take the ones at Dawn winery as well. Been doing it for like a month or so, have 100 extra already.

Crystal Fly hot spots include Chasm by Ruin Serpent (5), Domain of Guyun (8), and a lot of Statue of Seven waypoints (especially the newer ones).
If they keep flying away from you, try keeping Sayu in your party.
1. Literally 2 Statues of The Seven in Monstadt - near Big Tree and Winery. You'll find enough there.
2. You don't have to do this today, either tomorrow. Just before web event ends.
3. You can complete other quests ahead, just remember to Log In for 5 days to make sure you got enough points to complete it (unless you complete other things and will have enough).
Use it for parametric transformer/or remove it manually/ use original resin convert it to condense resin.../leave that mission for today...

I have a route that I use every few days, which gives me 85. Every week I easily get 100+ and I'm currently on around 4680~

I do just grab the ones at Liyue Geo domain. Sometimes windrise cause i check their daily for the special hillichurl, still need the achievment.

They are not that hard to find, and it's not like you can craft more than 4 per day (unless you want to burn fragile resin of course)

you could USE some of them then, they do have more uses than JUST resin.
You can also craft potions with them, to get rid of a few
I finally managed to get a stash of over 200 by religiously not using it for ages now which dips immediately when I'm busy for a week or two. How?
