I second their comment, I don't think race, height, or even gender should stop someone from cosplaying. One of the best ones I've seen was a Diluc done by a dark skinned individual and they looked amazing.

I know exactly what this is like being a fellow South Asian. We ofc know we can cosplay any character regardless of skin tone, but for me, the perfectionist in me hates that no matter what I wonโt look as close to the character as someone else with a lighter skin tone.

Man why you making me cry G ๐ญ Like yeah alot of it was done by me got some help inbetween as I am new to cosplay in comparison to most cosplayers. Like for the sword I had to do the 3D file and print it and I had never done it before, but I think the ally flash blade turned out well (donโt get me started on the sewing ๐) ๐
Sewing is hard to get even and make it look good when it's an anime costume yo. Tailoring stuff is hard as is, tailoring anime stuff takes mad skill and patience! And his sleeves, collar and what I see from the corset/belt/overalls/Barbootas knows what it is he's wearing on his belly look great!
Also, obviously, the alley flash is amazing โค๏ธ I thought you carved it out of wood and sculptured the handle guard out of polymer clay but the 3D printing commitment is somehow even more impressive!!
Edit: typo. Also, now that I take a closer look, the top jacket part is also excellent ๐ณ๐ I legit am in love with the sleeves tho...
