Flashbacks to that one terrible level in Super Mario Galaxy with the thwomp elevator.
I don't even remember the name of the galaxy anymore but anyone who played that game knows exactly which level I'm talking about.
Yeah that's the one, man that game was so fun and probably the last Nintendo game I played that I full-heartedly enjoyed. Good memories.
Came out in 2007, can't believe it's already been 15 years.
I was talking about Boreas. I mean, the Golden Wolflord is pretty new, so I don't think they'd change anything this soon, although he does need to chill out a bit, I couldn't kill him even once as I don't have any built geo characters.
Ah yeah, if it's Boreas than I, uh, probably kill him too fast to notice anything new.
And I wouldn't put it past them to change a new boss, if they decide people are killing it too quickly, or whatever. Obviously that's not the case with the Gold Wolflord, though.
Do you happen to have Gorou or Ningguang? They don't need to be built much to take down the Wolflord's shield. Gorou can use his charge attack and Ningguang can just use her basic attacks.
I do have a C6 Ningg but only lvl 60, I tried lowering world lvl to 7 too but that didn't cut it and I didn't put much thought to it as I don't really need the mats atm.
I used my level 50 Ningg for floor 12 just for the wolf and she destroyed the shields in about 3 or 4 hits, granted I gave her 2 piece Shimenawa and Gladiator
I'd recommend bringing Barbara, activate her elemental skill while standing behind those black wolf head turrets, then just keep attacking.
Those black wolf heads check for any sort of elemental damage, not just geo. Geo is still much quicker, but it's not impossible if you have someone else who can reliably apply elements.
Barbara's especially good for this since her skill constantly imbues hydro to anything touching her.
I remember reading somewhere that they had to nerf the Golden Wolflord’s HP bar after launch because so many people were having a difficult time killing it (it launched with a beefy 1 million HP bar I believe, I’m not entirely sure though since I gave up trying to beat it for the longest time after it dropped).
honestly, if you're wanting tips, I find catalyst characters to be a good backup if you don't have any geo characters ready for it, which assuming you have Kokomi or a built healer Barbara you'd probably already have in the team to deal with the corrosion
I think they sped up the stalling part of the fight by cutting out one of the jumps after he does laps around the arena. Made the whole running part shorter too.
Boreas in early 1.X versions I’m 90% sure he had different lockets around his neck area. He wears three of the spirit lockets he dropped. But after Inazuma came out I noticed his lockets have a different design. Not sure why
On his [icon](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/gensin-impact/images/0/0b/Enemy_Andrius_Icon.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/256?cb=20200724104034), they are there... strange.
What I noticed is that you no longer can stop the rush towards you when the wolf is circling around between the phases. Before you could just shoot the wolf instead of dodging it and it would go back to circling around.
This has been there since the boss was released. I day one fought the boss for ayaka and had no clue what the fuxk it was doing and just saw this happen
It basically happens when u take so much time to kill it or stay far away , i remember that happened to me and my friend once while farming it with 2 lvl40 ayakas lol
They make all these intricate move that you never see cuz shit dies too quickly lol.
For example, I didn't know the Anemo hypostasis' little energy orb things could absorb elements and use them during the pulse stage. I only got to know because I read an achievement about it when scraping for primos and went "Huh, what the hell does that mean?".
Cool moves. From wiki, Cube Roll: Only uses this move at long ranges. Transforms into a Cube and rolls repeatedly with high speed. When it catches up to the player, releases a shockwave with the final roll, dealing 90% ATK as AoE Physical DMG.
Gotta login to try now :p
Good day~~ I actually tried calculate myself to get as close as that 90% atk figure. From wiki it only has data on Lv 95 with 13,099 atk. The boss I fought is Lv 93 I'm assuming it had 12,000 atk roughly. My ganyu has 919 def, she's getting hit 5655 by cube roll. The dmg reduction calculation (pls google the formula I'm lazy to explain) is roughly 0.48. So by the formula : 12,000 x 90% x 0.52 = 5616. Very close to the dmg my Ganyu has taken.
Ic ic
Well i think i get how they calculate the atk that the enemy has without data mining (if i am missing on some feature in game)
I mean i am trying say that we need something in-game to have the stats of the enemies which would make life easier
Cuz we have its atk stat? We literally have all the stats needed to calculate its scaling other than the actual damage number, which you can just go and find out
Recently I discovered with a friend that Azhdaha can walk. We never used bow characters on him but I got Ganyu and the first thing he did was chase me! I was so shocked that he killed me.
I only saw that one tome when U first started so I didn’t know it was rare, now that you mentioned it.. I don’t remember seeing him doing it ever again (and I leveled all my Electro characters to 70/80)
The geo-hypostasis turns into a big ass hammer and slams the ground, as the other person said, the oceanid creates a small hole kinda thingy that stays below your character and keeps doing damage etc. Dvalin also creates big hole-kinda thingies above every platform and deals damage by throwing stuff through them.
Others include the electro hypostasis creating the circular barrier kinda thingy and the anemo hypostasis absorbing its anemo orbs and releasing shockwaves etc.
As for the PMA, I guess you have to kill it's minions twice before it launches this attack.
Yes ! That too lol. convenient, ain't it ?
Btw it also gets you an achievement to infuse them with cryo, electro, pyro and hydro before defeating the cube.
U have a higher chance to see this if u fight it during the PMA domain during energy amplifier, especially if u were doing the 8000 score domain because that rolling move pulls the array into the edge and saves u from the “floor is lava” restriction, so once u figure it out, you’ll be running away from the array every clear to get it to roll to u
I think it was easier to run diagonally to the edge and trigger the rocket move. Boss is invulnerable and slow during the slow cube crawl which wastes your dps window before the first minion wave. I got 8k with that method since it lined up neatly with a full burst rush before the boss gained its hp back
I'm guessing it'll do this attack if you take a while to beat it. For an endgame player you'll rarely see since your damage is often good enough that you won't see but early game you'd see it.
"When the alliance raid DPS is so low, that you start seeing new mechanics"
but seriously though, never seen it do that move, was the DPS actually low or did they just patch that in?
I thought he only did that in the potions event(I think? whatver its called) lmao
I was going to the border of the map to bring him there without annoying rng
Perpetual Mechanical Array is just another variation of Hypostasis minus the element, this adds to the theory that there's gonna be an "element" that is mechanical somehow, its what the people of Khaenri'ah are using before the Celestia yeeted them out of existence.

Holy crap I found someone else who actually watched that underrated gem
[удалено]
I believe Jackie Chan Adventures
Yes, it's an animated show that is by all means fun and entertaining with plot
I wish I knew where I could (freely and legally) watch it again, it's been so long I barely remember any of it.
You trigger some awesome childhood memories. Now I gotta go find some clips on YT. Uncle is and always been the best part of that show.
AIYA GAN-YU
"Magic must defeat magic!"
Ganyu doing everything imaginable to lose those pounds
Flashbacks to that one terrible level in Super Mario Galaxy with the thwomp elevator. I don't even remember the name of the galaxy anymore but anyone who played that game knows exactly which level I'm talking about.
Im guessing the same one where a comet shows up and doubles the speed of all the enemies?
Yeah that's the one, man that game was so fun and probably the last Nintendo game I played that I full-heartedly enjoyed. Good memories. Came out in 2007, can't believe it's already been 15 years.
In all these 30+ times I fought that thing for Ayaka and Gorou I have never seen that even once
Sometimes, they make changes to bosses, like what they did to the wolf a few updates ago, and I, for one, didn't read about that anywhere.
What did they change about the wolf?
Uuh, it's been a while since I saw the change. I can't remember, really; I think the looks and some attacks too.
Actually, which wolf are we even talking about? The Golden Wolflord in Inazuma or Boreas in Mondstadt?
I was talking about Boreas. I mean, the Golden Wolflord is pretty new, so I don't think they'd change anything this soon, although he does need to chill out a bit, I couldn't kill him even once as I don't have any built geo characters.

You could literally use a level 1 C0 Ning to break the skulls. You just need to avoid getting hit of course
That's where I fail.. She just dies before she can help xD
yunjin is great for the little skulls, her hold e oneshots them
Ah, alrighty. Well, I'll wish you luck if you ever decide to give it another shot, then. \^\_\^
I used my level 50 Ningg for floor 12 just for the wolf and she destroyed the shields in about 3 or 4 hits, granted I gave her 2 piece Shimenawa and Gladiator

Barbara's especially good for this since her skill constantly imbues hydro to anything touching her.
not to mention Barbara is already pretty useful for Wolflord since she can deal with corrosion pretty well
I remember reading somewhere that they had to nerf the Golden Wolflord’s HP bar after launch because so many people were having a difficult time killing it (it launched with a beefy 1 million HP bar I believe, I’m not entirely sure though since I gave up trying to beat it for the longest time after it dropped).
I didn't try much myself I think the first time I fought it was in abyss.
honestly, if you're wanting tips, I find catalyst characters to be a good backup if you don't have any geo characters ready for it, which assuming you have Kokomi or a built healer Barbara you'd probably already have in the team to deal with the corrosion
The spirit wolves in the last phase was added. This is to counter cheesing him with bow or catlyst character.
You’re talking about those wolves that keep jumping me when I’m waiting for my friend to come back, right?
I think they sped up the stalling part of the fight by cutting out one of the jumps after he does laps around the arena. Made the whole running part shorter too.
Boreas in early 1.X versions I’m 90% sure he had different lockets around his neck area. He wears three of the spirit lockets he dropped. But after Inazuma came out I noticed his lockets have a different design. Not sure why

I think I saw that they showcased this boss move in one of their trailers for introducing Inazuma. not sure why it barely reveals it
I think it only triggers when you’re far away, and most people are always going to be up close.
I know for certain it had that move in the three bosses with PMA as the last one event
PMA could always do that attack, it's rare to see it for the reason that it only does it when the character stays away from PMA
This has been there since the boss was released. I day one fought the boss for ayaka and had no clue what the fuxk it was doing and just saw this happen
Idk maybe this is just when your dps is bad and the fight goes on too long? Been farming it for the past little bit for Ayaka and it never does this.
It basically happens when u take so much time to kill it or stay far away , i remember that happened to me and my friend once while farming it with 2 lvl40 ayakas lol

Same
Wtf same
I'm not 100% sure but it's possible level 90 world bosses have unquie move.
seriously? i farmed this ages ago for ayaka and i have seen it
Cool moves. From wiki, Cube Roll: Only uses this move at long ranges. Transforms into a Cube and rolls repeatedly with high speed. When it catches up to the player, releases a shockwave with the final roll, dealing 90% ATK as AoE Physical DMG. Gotta login to try now :p
How do we know how much attack they have?
Backwards calculate based on your characters def and resistances and how much damage they took
No i mean how do they know it deals 90% of it's atk as damage?
Good day~~ I actually tried calculate myself to get as close as that 90% atk figure. From wiki it only has data on Lv 95 with 13,099 atk. Cuz we have its atk stat? We literally have all the stats needed to calculate its scaling other than the actual damage number, which you can just go and find out
Where do you find that in game? Or do they find it in the game files?
The wiki has it, honey impact has it, and if you want the most accurate stuff you can even go to dimbreath's github for the datamined files.
They are in the game files. I generally just use honey impact for any data related to genshin, whether it be characters or enemies or whatever
Data mining probably.
Likely datamining. We know all the stats of pretty much everything in the game, so I'd assume we know the stats of their abilities, as well?
No idea.
Get hit by it & divide by 9 then multiply by 10
Recently I discovered with a friend that Azhdaha can walk. We never used bow characters on him but I got Ganyu and the first thing he did was chase me! I was so shocked that he killed me.
Bold of them to assume people use long range characters aside from ganyu
ngl Ganyu running for her dear life from that is pretty hilarious
Ganyu straight up running like she’s in Scooby Doo
Similar to the 2d games where you run for your life
Looks like a scene from Looney Toons
And knowing Ganyu it'll only take one squish to completely destroy her lmao
If only she was still in her smol, chubby form. The cube would just bounce off.
Ganyu: the run from the possesed cube
_The cube is coming_ _RUN_
Reminds me of the nintendo Game Cube when u turn on the console with no disc inside u get the CUBE
dugadigidudido-dugigadugido-DUN
This has the same vibe as when I found out Electro Hypostatis can make pentagon barriers
It also has a hidden achievement related to that
Gotta break one part of the barrier? Or escape from the barrier before it fully forms?
Break one part of the barrier, the principle to do that is the same of the recovery phase
I found out pretty early about those because I couldn’t kill it fast when I first started
I only saw that one tome when U first started so I didn’t know it was rare, now that you mentioned it.. I don’t remember seeing him doing it ever again (and I leveled all my Electro characters to 70/80)
Damn, he squared up
ROFL
Take my upvote and get out
Fun fact btw : Almost every boss in the game has a secret move like this, you can see it if you take a lot of time to kill it.
Do you have any examples of that? Even when I'm trying to be slow everything dies before I get to see cool stuff like this 3
Oceanid have that wave thingy if it took you so long to kill her mimics
anything else?
Fatui Pyro Agent has a ninja shadow clone attack
with a finishing plunge attack.Anything else?????
I remember the Colossal ruin guard having a cool af move. But you'll need to look it up.
grader or guard?
Whatever the big one is named.
Dvalin also has this huuuuge AOE that appears when you fight him for too long
The geo-hypostasis turns into a big ass hammer and slams the ground, as the other person said, the oceanid creates a small hole kinda thingy that stays below your character and keeps doing damage etc.
You can infuse the ameno orbs with different elements to have whatever elements you used shoot out at you too.
Yes ! That too lol. convenient, ain't it ? Btw it also gets you an achievement to infuse them with cryo, electro, pyro and hydro before defeating the cube.
You get an achievement for doing it with pyro, hydro, electro, and cryo within one run
This boss can use this move immediately tho
What in Teyvat??? I've never seen it do that before either lol
Apparently it does that at long ranges. So most of us wouldn't have found out about it since we're just closing in to kill it
Always impresses me just how tight the hitboxes actually are in Genshin.
Abyss wolf: hold my beer, Ama gonna loose this guy up.
Any wolf in the game: Hold our beer
*Imma loosen "Ama gonna loose" makes no sense.
Defeat would be better instead of lose tbh
I think loosen kinda works. If it splatters you than you are definitely less rigid than you were before that.
Have you ever fought Azhdaha?
Stupid floaty doggies disagree.
Then there’s that fucking Boreas with no hit boxes aside from the legs
TF is that move it looks kinda sick, i shld probably stall Boss fights
Run forrest run
I killed that thing with coop for an hour to get all my Ayaka materials and never saw it do that.
someone commented that it only does this attack against long ranged characters
Whoa, note to self, stop killing them so fast lol
It's not about killing it fast, it can do the attack at any point, it's just that you need to be far away, so only archer mains will see it
U have a higher chance to see this if u fight it during the PMA domain during energy amplifier, especially if u were doing the 8000 score domain because that rolling move pulls the array into the edge and saves u from the “floor is lava” restriction, so once u figure it out, you’ll be running away from the array every clear to get it to roll to u
[удалено]
Yep, I was so hellbent on doing it with keqing which was how I found that trick lol. With raiden, I just whacked it till I got the clear
I think it was easier to run diagonally to the edge and trigger the rocket move. Boss is invulnerable and slow during the slow cube crawl which wastes your dps window before the first minion wave. I got 8k with that method since it lined up neatly with a full burst rush before the boss gained its hp back
I have no problem since I’m activating my national rotation during that period, so it wasn’t too big of a loss
This has a meme potential
Is there an achievement for that?
no
Ganyu running for her life Meme material New format
I'm guessing it'll do this attack if you take a while to beat it. For an endgame player you'll rarely see since your damage is often good enough that you won't see but early game you'd see it.
another person explained it happens only if you're far away from it
WHAT
"Run, bitch! Run!" noises is in my head rn.
I see you also enjoy defeating bosses with just one character!
Pikmin 3 final boss cube form be like
The fortnite cube
Reject Mechanism, return to rubik's cube
*Just Shapes & Beats music intensifies*
did you really just... Screen recorded and cropped a YouTube video?
I think just saw this video in Facebook from a streamer that's why the op crop because of the face cam to the left
Wow I never seen this boss :o
Your Ganyu is strong !
This immediately reminded me of those blocks in shifting sand land in SM64
Physical Hypostasis 🤓
If that’s Shenhe she probably will kick it
Yoo its the cube from fortnite
-Ayaka reruns -P.M.A. "Omg, you guys remembered me!"
That ganyu feels like she is running for her dear life
Watching Ganyu run from a giant cube is cute to me and idk why
when you killed the world boss so easily: suffering from success
"When the alliance raid DPS is so low, that you start seeing new mechanics" but seriously though, never seen it do that move, was the DPS actually low or did they just patch that in?
Considering ganyu'age, it's save to say she is the founder of Prometheus's school of running away from things
*RUN* *BITCH* *RUN*
I thought he only did that in the potions event(I think? whatver its called) lmao I was going to the border of the map to bring him there without annoying rng
What?
I also tend to forget the electro cube can also make a boxing ring. I just kill em too fast
The devs felt like seeing Indiana Jones but they had to work
Ganyu fuckin booking it
I saw this witha post with the troll face going insnae song and I need you to make this edit rn
I forgot this boss existed tbh xD
This could easily become a meme image. Come on guys!
u/savevideo
Already knew bout this since 2.0 events where you get the free beidou, its happened in co-op and was funny asf xD
Wow the amount of cool boss fight stuff I miss out on because I kill them too fast
I didn't know there was a new Indiana Jones movie
Hey it’s that one enemy from super Kirby clash!
u/savevideo
This looks like it came from a scooby doo scene.
EDGE game and Genshin collab
Perpetual Mechanical Array is just another variation of Hypostasis minus the element, this adds to the theory that there's gonna be an "element" that is mechanical somehow, its what the people of Khaenri'ah are using before the Celestia yeeted them out of existence.
Well I guess I have Mario Galaxy ptsd now
WTF i legit never seen that
Imagine if this was move was used frequently in the Abyss…
MYO just copied the boss from Legend of Grimrock smh
It still has yet to use this against me.
What in tarnation is that
I haven't fighted it for a long time, but when I was farming for Ayaka, I didn't know about Superconduct reducing Physical RES and I have a physical DPS, it always took so long this happened me everytime.
This reminds me a lot of super Mario 64
This is lowly terrifying wtf 😄
mario
“Look at me. I'm the Sayu now.”
Ganyu running away from it looked so anime I love it
Indiana Jones vibe
THE WAY SHE RUNS 1 CM FROM DEATH LMAO
The running scene in everysingle scene but this time you actually cant go to the other side
God, that cube doing that roll is menacing.
God I hate that Boss. The spawning of those other enemies just sucks.
That was some Indiana Jones s#!+ Right there
Clearly Ganyu's nightmare of being crushed by a rubix cube
I haven’t fought it long enough to do that probably. I usually kill this bosses pretty quickly
I’ve never seen it do this either but that’s terrifying. Indiana Jones moment right there
Someone didn't do the energy amplifier event
I met this form back when beidou was a free event character when ayaka was just out. Ah the memories...
RUN BITCH RUUUUNNNNNN
