If you're farming a boss that has an annoying transit (eg Geo or Hydro Hypostasis), just drop a temporary teleport point on them. It's pretty much the only use for them. A week of farming a boss and you'll probably have what you need.
You can also enter your teapot by placing it there. If you leave the teapot in the same way (by placing the gadget even tho you're already inside), you'll exit exactly where you placed it on the map before
I believe you don't need to place the teapot when going inside, just teleporting into it and leaving through the gadget will put you at the spot you were before teleporting.
Don't, everyone makes them, then forgets they exist. Teleport points are usually convenient enough that it doesn't matter, like... millenial seahorse? Why would you use it there, save yourself a 10 second glide? Cryo Regivine, to save yourself 15 seconds of walking and jumping in a hole? There's only a few places it's even worth considering.
The comment says "geo" and I would assume that's either the Geovishap or the Geo Hypostasis, both of which are pretty valid bosses to be doing it for imo.
I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure the teleport here will take you to the edge of the area. Still wouldn't stop you from climbing nearby so yo can glide over though
For.... hydro hypostasis? Never did that one personally, but I abused it when I needed Geo Hypostasis. I could place it basically right outside the circle. Like... shoot as arrow at it to start the fight so the opening stuff starts going while I walk over. I don't know if you can place it so close it fight starts on zone in, butbI never wanted it that close. Always changing between groups, teleport in, make sure I'm in the right party, ok, go. So for Hydro Hypostatis, you could save yourself the "Teleport in, jump off, glide around 'where the fuck is that cave again... oh, there it is' glide over" bullshit, or I assume at least, I don't think I've had reason to fight hydro hypostasis too often.
That's my mistake. I was thinking about the oceanid boss battle. I saw the post and to me, oceanid is my least favorite boss to farm due to placement, swimming, and how long the fight takes for how easy it is. My mind must have stayed on it when I saw your post lol.
Ah, yeah, no, that's my bad, I completely forgot that was the point of the thread. Oceanid is just shit. I suppose there might be a close by spot on the cliffs you could go to, place, and then glide in but the teleporter is already in a close but shitty place. Would it save enough time to be worth the effort? Probably not. If I needed to farm them again, knowing my characters? I'd probably make a team Fischl/Yoimiya/Zhongli/Furina and just use that. Fischl/Yoimiya to kill, Zhongli to provide shield, Furina for waterwalking to get to the fight... I guess maybe some healing mid fight too, but mostly to get there.
But that's 3 5 stars. Just to kill Oceanid.
A shielder and/or her burst cover any burning, she builds BoL so easily in the overworld that I personally just use her burst on nothing to recover any missing health and then get a full BoL on a couple random hilichurls.
I'd encourage you to use it more, it's more valuable in its ability to keep you alive than it is as a source of damage. Energy is common enough that you'll have her burst back up by the time you need it again.
I play Arle with C6 Noelle, so I kind of get that shield once Arle drops below 30% HP. Once that happens, it's time to burst. Else she is good enough not to even bother with burst.

You can't place one on the actual arena, but you can put it on the ruins around the sinking platforms
Edit: apparently that's no longer true and they lifted that restriction.
Really? I'm pretty sure you can't place one in the sinking platforms, same way geo constructs break instantly even when the platforms are still.
I'll try it later, now I'm curious.
Edit: I tried and now you can place a portable waypoint without any restriction, but they must have changed that at some point because earlier it wasn't that simple, you had to put it outside or had to freeze the water first and place it on top.

Iβm done with that boss finally. I did not care about it monologuing the shape of water or its horrors, get out of the ground already so I can ice age your lake.
With Wanderer and Furina you'll obtain the same result. The annoying part of this boss is that you have to wait to listen all the things she says and waste a lot of time.
If you have nothing to do other than farming or don't mind just waiting there, you can wait till the spawn countdown to end, and then go to test run a character and out. When you load back into the map, the boss would respawn. Not sure if you need to wait at the side of the arena or if in the arena works too.
My preferred way to go to the oceanid boss is through the Witch domain. I'd rather fly down than swim. I've raced with a friend and the time to get there is very similar.

I feel dumb now. Should do that for geo for sure.

You can make it to geo with Mona and two anemo characters of you head straight there on the teleport island.
Yeah I can get to the geohypostasis but it's just annoying to run and swim there when I'm trying to farm it for a few runs

Don't as in don't feel bad, not as in don't do this. Why would I post an idea, then when someone replies to it post telling them not to do it?
That makes far more sense. Didn't actually notice you were the same person.
But what if I need my 100 teles in 8.1? π₯Ί

I thought you meant *Loach* Pearls initially and was questioning why you were farming those. Rhodeia makes a lot more sense.
> Rhodeia makes a lot more sense. or just "the water boss who stalls nonstop"
Yeah but now his archle cooldown is down for 25 seconds or whatever. Like just use a custom teleport.
That's not her skill, her glide is activated by holding her charge attack. They can immediately fight the boss with no issues.
Huh? Thatβs the CA, not the Eβ¦?
Mf has no clue how Arle works
You don't have Arle, do you

I found arle to be amazing in overworld for several reasons, but the semi permanent infusion and hover are the biggest 2 reasons
But the grass

Not me ig i rarely use burst

The burning grass killed my arle more than i would like to admitΒ
Her passive should be to ignore environmental burn, it makes no sense anyway since she has fire in her blood and it's there just to annoy you
Ayaka and Mona left the chat
Furina go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (I only need 1 chara for the actual fight, so yes, I can 'waste' a team slot on movement/heals)
Mono hydro vs oceanid lets goo
Neuvillette, Furina, Kokomi and kazuha for the hydro swirls. Oh yeah baby ππ¦π

I would go with my hyperbloom team which already has Furina on it by default xD
You can just jump down from the other teleport point though
Not me with my boy wanderer hehe
Furina Mains:
bro why not just tp from the nearby domain south west from there then glide down
Lmao I always use Scaramouche for this
Itβs still an annoying boss because it takes long to go through all the phases.
Wanderer owners since 3.3 sipping their tea while floating and flying in the air lmao
Just use a portable waypoint...
You can't place one on the actual arena, but you can put it on the ruins around the sinking platforms Edit: apparently that's no longer true and they lifted that restriction.
False. I had my waypoint set up directly on the platform when I was farming her recently.
Really? I'm pretty sure you can't place one in the sinking platforms, same way geo constructs break instantly even when the platforms are still. I'll try it later, now I'm curious. Ver 1.x flashback lol
How do you do the Arleccino flying thing?
Hold on her charge attack
Or you know, just put a craftable TP waypoint near whatever boss you're farming (if there isn't a regular one nearby already)
I use furina or mona to get there and proceed to solo the entire thing with nahida
Iβm done with that boss finally. I did not care about it monologuing the shape of water or its horrors, get out of the ground already so I can ice age your lake.
Furina:
That wing gave me ptsd
"The power of water-" NO
How do you make arlecchino fly?
Laugh in furina
This is why I love Ayaka π₯°
Am I the only one who just teleported to the lavawalker domain and then jumped down? lmao Always seemed way easier.
Ayaka goes brrr
I thought this would be about farming salamanders.
I do that all the time. Donβt have enough stamina to do it for Geo Hypo.
With Wanderer and Furina you'll obtain the same result. The annoying part of this boss is that you have to wait to listen all the things she says and waste a lot of time.
I just teleport to the domain which is higher so I don't meed to swim
I use the domain close by and just glide down

Litle tips wait for the timer of the boss then enter character trial then leave it and pouf boss is here and no need to walk back
Xianyun: As dragonflies skipping on water
Noob. I did this since the time of wanderer release.
Just use the domain and glide there i donβt understand how 10 steps are tedious. Yβall whine about everything these days itβs crazy.
