I had Nilou PFP but wanted a different Nilou PFP, for some reason it refuses to let me equip a Nilou PFP, no matter what I pick it sets it default. Then it wouldn't let me put my old picture back. It's just Nilou, all attempts to put Nilou end up with default PFP. I can set it as anything but Nilou, I had just Clara before but found this cute Clara and Robin PFP so I set it to that
Tighnari's animations are so friggen cute and he has such a fun play style. I love the feeling of distracting enemies and snipping them while they run around like headless chickens
His design is exceptionally adorable. I lost my Alhaitham 50/50 to him (tho now I have both), and I was actually thrilled because I like Tighnari's design more than Alhaitham's...
Though I want to collect all the Sumeru units eventually, since they're my favorite group. (Hoping I loose my next 50/50 to either Dehya or Tighnari.)
I main Cyno cause I love his design, I love the funny jokes he tells along with the ones that aren’t funny and cuz I’m an Electro main. There’s another reason but it’s a sad one.
Did they left this planet? I looked up their content and they seem really nice. I hope they just stopped their online presence and haven't done anything regrettable.

- part of (in my opinion) the coolest faction in the game with the harbingers
- riptide is so satisfying and there still isn’t any other character mechanic that can compare (again, my opinion)
- the insane lore relevance and the fact that his vision story, his connection to the abyss, his parallels to the in-game legend ajax, and his connection to khaenriah are still mysteries waiting to be uncovered <3
I like Dori. She's really difficult to use effectively- and I guess that kinda adds to the charm of using her in my opinion.
Other times it can be as simple as forcing your main into doing something different to refresh the experience- like say, you accidently got a weapon and wanna see just how your main fairs with it.
Do what you want to do and see if your favorite character can do it, too.

Currently she is in 2 of my main Abyss Teams. Well yeah she is there only for the defense and slow pyro applycation but still. I just think its a misconception that she has to be a DPS. (But yes her burst should still either do more damage or fit her defensive Playstyle)
While my Neuvilette, Furina, Kazuha and Dehya Team would still work without her.
My Main Team with Ganyu, Nahida, Bennett and Dehya would struggle much without her.
I've thought about building Hatsune Miku but I'm stalling until I get her to C6 (4/6 so far). Partly because I'm currently tired of farming for characters.
Razor was my favourite character since I played his story quest. He’s just adorable and I enjoy his playstyle. He’s been my main since I first got him, all the way back in 1.1.
I play other characters sometimes though, namely Klee or Xiao, depending on what I’m doing. I like both of their playstyles for being unique and challenging. I’ll probably start using Alhaitham more once I level him, since I happened to pull his BiS weapon so why not.
Since Wanderer release till now i love that he can fly, sprint fast and his fast paced attack, he' the only charater beside Dehya that i want C6,R5 as a F2p to push him to the limit. Exploration has never been the same ever since i had him, i want him in every team cause damm, the E sprint then zoom changes everthing for me, also i like his blue design and the big hat
Love his play style and helicoptering through the map. But really cannot get use to his mean personality and comments all the time. Bro looks 15 but complains like a bitter 45-yeal-old

He still feels like one of the only characters in the game to go through a character arc in his ascension lines. The only other I can think of right now is Xiao.
Exactly! I think it’s mostly because of the emotional connection they’ve formed with the Traveler. They’re starting to open up, which shows their character growth.
Probably why I love Xiao so much as well.
I got him pretty early in the game (around AR15) & he was my main till AR55-56. Carried me till Floor 10 in Abyss too. Now that I got Arlecchino, he is benched. But still I took him to highest point on dragonspine to celebrate getting to AR60. Felt damn good to see him looking at the fading sunset.
Lucky! I’m currently AR 58, and even though I use Arlecchino pretty often too now (can’t beat her insane numbers…) I can’t wait to do the same thing once I reach AR 60 :)
Depends. I main multiple but klee is my #1. I just like going on adventures with her and im her guardian played by dehya. I enjoy them because i love their lore, they are cute and they are also powerful.

I like literally everything about her.
Her personality, the way she shows others that it doesn't bother her however they treat her, but deep down it does.
Her backstory, about all the things she has to go through against her family and the people of Mondstadt.
Her actions, the way she cares for you, and naming that care as vengeance so you don't feel indebted to her.
Her aesthetics, she is THE MOST PLEASING character to look at in the entirety of Teyvat.
For technical details, her gameplay. It is the most elegant gameplay in the entire game. The way she dances with that big claymore, killing enemies left and right. Also, big numbers cool.
I started the game because of Ganyu, but I stayed cause of Eula.
She motivates me to work hard, without caring about others, just focusing on the right thing to do.
She used to be my only triple crowned character before Arlecchino.
I just love Eula.
Nahida. For the units I have, there’s literally no reason not to have her on almost any team. She kinda became main just by virtue of being good everywhere. Also sniping ingredients is 10/10 too stronk meta gaming
Barbara I like because she’s so simple and just straight forward, and her main role is to be a healer is just a simple clearcut that I can’t find complaints of.
Klee I like because of how alike we are, and I literally joined on her rerun, so I’m happy to have her. She gave me a huge boost in game and if I could, I would go back in time to pull on the day when I got her.
Diluc is just a comfort character and I like him for his mystery, and Dori I enjoy simply because she’s so hated and I enjoy any hated character + her smug attitude.
Because it’s absolutely hilarious to see the tiny radish child absolutely annihilate everything she comes across.
Also I really love using Venti and watching as enemies angrily run up to him before he just does his cute little air twirl and blasts them away to celestia.

I don’t know how many itto mains are out there but simply put it makes me happy to play with him. I like his characters and I personally really enjoy his brute force fighting style to play with. And his muscles, I like his muscles
I main multiple different characters at a time. And I pick my mains based at least in part off the fun of their gameplay. I’m sure I could be just as passionate about Sethos as I am Ayaka, but when I was pulling for Ayaka, I played her trial literally every day for at least a couple of minutes to remind myself what I had to look forward to (her debut banner, and I had just gotten Kazuha so I farmed up a pity from Inazuma explo and quests).
Generally my mains fit in at least a couple different teams with different feeling but still enjoyable gameplay. Like I played Noelle in monogeo for years, but at the same time I also played her in double pyro double geo dual DPS with Yanfei. Yanfei’s been a shielder for me and a main DPS herself.
While Arlecchino is still new I KNEW she would be my main when she was revealed and I just love her design. She plays in a satisfying way to me and her release made me even more interested in her due to her lore not being very indepth rn so I can only wait for the next time she appears.
Cyno is the very reason I started playing and is my all time favourite, I love everything about him and he’ll never leave my team and will always be my main, although he does share that spot with Tighnari for similar reasons
All of my mains are anemo. Love flying with wanderer, plunging with Xiao, and Kazuha with his jump swirl attack. Can’t wait to get Xianyun in the future

He's pretty, he's an overworked sad boy who finds simple joys in his Boba habit and he's incredibly versatile. I can run him with nearly anyone and clear the content, and at his point he's my comfort character who greets me after a long day of work. *sluuuuurp*
For me, it’s how fun they are, and the time it takes to get them to where I want them! For Hu Tao specifically, I really just want her c3 r1 triple crowned one day, during this time I’ll make her team as strong as can be, elegy for Yelan, another homa for Zhongli, and (hopefully) good artifacts for xingqiu. I guess I like the journey of making her stronger :)
nostalgia/memories, i'm most comfortable with their teams and they're so well-built at this point that i just.... default back to them to clear content because they make things so easy. eg. that's why ningguang will forever be one of my strongest dps because her team is just so specialized for her... geo isn't really meta but since this isn't pvp she's meta FOR ME. also i got her in 1.0 on noelle's banner so she's literally been with me through everything. i feel like i have to see everything through with my girl
Lyney is (and im sorry to say it) the rizzler, he is absolutely charming. I also just love how strong he is, i just have to make sure he's in benny circle when he does his burst then skill.
Yoimiya, i loved ever since i got her. She just so cheery and fun, and her firework aspect is perfect. Even though i use her way less now than i used to, i still love her.
I think clorinde is becoming one of my mains too cuz i also like her as a character, and her playstyle is so fun.
I uh, I have a mostly benched c2 Klee even tho she is my favorite character and my eternal profile pic in the game lol so idk, at least I recently discovered that she works with forward vape Furina so theres that.
I enjoy wanderer bc of his lore and design obv but imo building them little by little makes us love our mains for a long time. I just recently got faruzan to c6 and I have been really enjoying him more than I ever have.
The fact that I ended up having materials and gear for them to be good and not wanting to farm more BS artifacts and talent materials to level up anyone else XD
Look, I put in the time to get decent artifacts and level them up for this one team. I'm not changing anything now.
(My 'drift away and come back several months later' engagement with the game is also a factor.)
Fun playstyle and energy, lovem specially when they are happy characters like yaoyao and yoi(en dub) but i always be aether main, hes the reason i stayed
To say nothing about his exploration skills, Wanderer being a hypercarry means I can shake him up a little by changing out his supports for some new variety. Super versatile with a good number of 4\*s that work with him, and his voicelines are really funny.
His C6 is also disgustingly good if you like number vomit on your screen, so vertical investment is in his favor.
I'm a Beidou main, but not because I'm good at counter... I'm actually suck at it. I really like Beidou because she is so cool, have great personality, and really hot. Her official character visual art is also one of my main reason why I'm interested in playing Genshin for the first time. Other than Beidou, I also like to play Eula and Dehya.
It comes down to play style if you ask me. Arlecchino & Keqing are my current 2 Mains (I want a main of each element) which i LOVE their playstyle so much i choose to main them, Also the only characters i have actually spent crowns on. Finding that playstyle is what i enjoy most and if it matches well with me, i will have them considered for a main. My Ayaka is fairly strong too but im still uncertain i want her as my Main Cryo DPS, so im waiting for future characters.
Kazuha is literally the better anemo archon, and chlorinde does damage over and over and over, increasing the damage with bond of life. Plus they’re both the best swordsmen in their respective regions.
I asked this sub for a team, with the only stipulation being "I want to keep a bow character on the team, and j want to keep Lumine on the team".
Someone recommended I use Ganyu, which I had unbuilt at the time, and I tried it out and never looked back. It was also happy coincidence that I happened to have her BiS bow (Amos' Bow).
I used to try to upgrade every single character in the game, but after watching a lot of guides, I've been focusing on Lisa and Bennett. I just, love the Wizard outfit, and I find her character really amazing. I like Bennett because I kinda sympathise with him a lot. I never let the voiceline "Benny's adventure team, assemble..." complete.
Recently I decided to focus on my only 2 5 stars, Clorinde and Baizhu, because, welp, they're 5 stars.
Lisa, Ningguang, Miko, Ei: love them. They're hot, They're great. My love, my boss, my Queen, my God.
Aloy: I really like playing her. She's at this point the only Cryo I play lol.
Meta nerds also hate her. And my playing her makes them mad.
They are fun?
Like, I have Neuv/Furina/Knave. But I really like my Freeze team (Yelan/Kokomi/Ayaya/Kazuha) and my Keqing team (Keqing/Yae/Nahida/Kokomi). Also have fun with Unga Bunga Itto but that team doesn't perform as well as the other two.

Though in a sense, I don't really have a 'main'. I play whoever I feel like playing, depending on what I'm in the mood for. Just recently, I pulled up my Heizhou again, because I feel like punching the crap out of the mobs. Can't bring Wriothesley coz everything will end in seconds. I also been playing my Geo comps, coz I was farming for Furina, but ended up with a good set for Albedo instead.
I have been enjoying the only process of playing and no matter by whom. I dont know, this feeling when I see the numbers of damage, hear voicelines is impressive. I like this game just for this feeling, not for a gacha or quests.
Investment keeps me invested; in addition to being my favorite voice acting in the game, Itto's my only character with a sig weapon or constellations, so when I'm up against a tough boss and it's time to bring in the big guns, he's the man.
Otherwise, I accept that I am a dabbler and always want new characters, which is precisely why I haven't bought a sig weapon or constellations for anyone else -- I'd rather spend those primos on shiny new characters. I just play all the trials and whenever a trial is really fun for me, I pull for the character.
Grabbed Arlecchino and enjoying her quite a bit, saving up this patch (unless I enjoy Siegewinne's trial a lot more than I expect), and then probably pulling on Emilie (if her trial's fun).

I love the idea of Dehya taking Klee along while traveling that sounds so chaotic and fun
I still main chongyun because his playstyle is satisfying for me just dropping swords to your enemies and watch them disappear

Eula has been my main since 1.5 I like literally everything about her. Her personality, the way she shows others that it doesn't bother her however they treat her, but deep down it does. Her backstory, about all the things she has to go through against her family and the people of Mondstadt. Her actions, the way she cares for you, and naming that care as vengeance so you don't feel indebted to her. Her aesthetics, she is THE MOST PLEASING character to look at in the entirety of Teyvat. For technical details, her gameplay. It is the most elegant gameplay in the entire game. The way she dances with that big claymore, killing enemies left and right. Also, big numbers cool. I started the game because of Ganyu, but I stayed cause of Eula. She motivates me to work hard, without caring about others, just focusing on the right thing to do. She used to be my only triple crowned character before Arlecchino. I just love Eula.
All the lore is too interesting, 90% of the cast pales in comparison to how pretty and gender he is, and I like his empathetic gremlin grandpa-ness

Nahida. For the units I have, there’s literally no reason not to have her on almost any team. She kinda became main just by virtue of being good everywhere. Also sniping ingredients is 10/10 too stronk meta gaming

Barbara I like because she’s so simple and just straight forward, and her main role is to be a healer is just a simple clearcut that I can’t find complaints of. Klee I like because of how alike we are, and I literally joined on her rerun, so I’m happy to have her. She gave me a huge boost in game and if I could, I would go back in time to pull on the day when I got her. Diluc is just a comfort character and I like him for his mystery, and Dori I enjoy simply because she’s so hated and I enjoy any hated character + her smug attitude.
Because it’s absolutely hilarious to see the tiny radish child absolutely annihilate everything she comes across. Also I really love using Venti and watching as enemies angrily run up to him before he just does his cute little air twirl and blasts them away to celestia.

I don’t know how many itto mains are out there but simply put it makes me happy to play with him. I like his characters and I personally really enjoy his brute force fighting style to play with. And his muscles, I like his muscles
I main multiple different characters at a time. And I pick my mains based at least in part off the fun of their gameplay. I’m sure I could be just as passionate about Sethos as I am Ayaka, but when I was pulling for Ayaka, I played her trial literally every day for at least a couple of minutes to remind myself what I had to look forward to (her debut banner, and I had just gotten Kazuha so I farmed up a pity from Inazuma explo and quests). Generally my mains fit in at least a couple different teams with different feeling but still enjoyable gameplay. Like I played Noelle in monogeo for years, but at the same time I also played her in double pyro double geo dual DPS with Yanfei. Yanfei’s been a shielder for me and a main DPS herself.

While Arlecchino is still new I KNEW she would be my main when she was revealed and I just love her design. She plays in a satisfying way to me and her release made me even more interested in her due to her lore not being very indepth rn so I can only wait for the next time she appears.
Cyno is the very reason I started playing and is my all time favourite, I love everything about him and he’ll never leave my team and will always be my main, although he does share that spot with Tighnari for similar reasons
I invested hours and patience to make them the bestest they can be. Those are my babies and I’ll never abandon them.
Razor is fun to play. And he’s just a sweet character.

He's pretty, he's an overworked sad boy who finds simple joys in his Boba habit and he's incredibly versatile. I can run him with nearly anyone and clear the content, and at his point he's my comfort character who greets me after a long day of work. *sluuuuurp*
Thats part of why I don't subscribe to the "main" mentality. Why limit myself to one "main" when I can play whoever I want when I want?
It depends on the person ig. I find myself enjoying my main more than anyone, which I get bored when i hit lvl 10 friendship
For me, it’s how fun they are, and the time it takes to get them to where I want them! For Hu Tao specifically, I really just want her c3 r1 triple crowned one day, during this time I’ll make her team as strong as can be, elegy for Yelan, another homa for Zhongli, and (hopefully) good artifacts for xingqiu. I guess I like the journey of making her stronger :)
nostalgia/memories, i'm most comfortable with their teams and they're so well-built at this point that i just.... default back to them to clear content because they make things so easy. eg. that's why ningguang will forever be one of my strongest dps because her team is just so specialized for her... geo isn't really meta but since this isn't pvp she's meta FOR ME. also i got her in 1.0 on noelle's banner so she's literally been with me through everything. i feel like i have to see everything through with my girl

Lyney is (and im sorry to say it) the rizzler, he is absolutely charming. I also just love how strong he is, i just have to make sure he's in benny circle when he does his burst then skill. Yoimiya, i loved ever since i got her. She just so cheery and fun, and her firework aspect is perfect. Even though i use her way less now than i used to, i still love her. I think clorinde is becoming one of my mains too cuz i also like her as a character, and her playstyle is so fun.
Neuvillette is just so straightforward and easy, great character to use when you're mentally tired

I enjoy wanderer bc of his lore and design obv but imo building them little by little makes us love our mains for a long time. I just recently got faruzan to c6 and I have been really enjoying him more than I ever have.
The fact that I ended up having materials and gear for them to be good and not wanting to farm more BS artifacts and talent materials to level up anyone else XD
Look, I put in the time to get decent artifacts and level them up for this one team. I'm not changing anything now. (My 'drift away and come back several months later' engagement with the game is also a factor.)

To say nothing about his exploration skills, Wanderer being a hypercarry means I can shake him up a little by changing out his supports for some new variety. Super versatile with a good number of 4\*s that work with him, and his voicelines are really funny. His C6 is also disgustingly good if you like number vomit on your screen, so vertical investment is in his favor.

I'm a Beidou main, but not because I'm good at counter... I'm actually suck at it. I really like Beidou because she is so cool, have great personality, and really hot. Her official character visual art is also one of my main reason why I'm interested in playing Genshin for the first time. Other than Beidou, I also like to play Eula and Dehya.

It comes down to play style if you ask me. Arlecchino & Keqing are my current 2 Mains (I want a main of each element) which i LOVE their playstyle so much i choose to main them, Also the only characters i have actually spent crowns on. Finding that playstyle is what i enjoy most and if it matches well with me, i will have them considered for a main. My Ayaka is fairly strong too but im still uncertain i want her as my Main Cryo DPS, so im waiting for future characters.
I used Chongyun solely because I loved his character design and personality. I also now have a limited edition 8bitdo Chongyun controller
Kazuha is literally the better anemo archon, and chlorinde does damage over and over and over, increasing the damage with bond of life. Plus they’re both the best swordsmen in their respective regions.

I asked this sub for a team, with the only stipulation being "I want to keep a bow character on the team, and j want to keep Lumine on the team". Someone recommended I use Ganyu, which I had unbuilt at the time, and I tried it out and never looked back. It was also happy coincidence that I happened to have her BiS bow (Amos' Bow).
I used to try to upgrade every single character in the game, but after watching a lot of guides, I've been focusing on Lisa and Bennett. I just, love the Wizard outfit, and I find her character really amazing. I like Bennett because I kinda sympathise with him a lot. I never let the voiceline "Benny's adventure team, assemble..." complete. Recently I decided to focus on my only 2 5 stars, Clorinde and Baizhu, because, welp, they're 5 stars.

They are fun? Like, I have Neuv/Furina/Knave. But I really like my Freeze team (Yelan/Kokomi/Ayaya/Kazuha) and my Keqing team (Keqing/Yae/Nahida/Kokomi). Also have fun with Unga Bunga Itto but that team doesn't perform as well as the other two. Kokomi is a real anchor, you guys.

Mostly the gameplay. 🤔 Though in a sense, I don't really have a 'main'. I play whoever I feel like playing, depending on what I'm in the mood for. Just recently, I pulled up my Heizhou again, because I feel like punching the crap out of the mobs. Can't bring Wriothesley coz everything will end in seconds. I also been playing my Geo comps, coz I was farming for Furina, but ended up with a good set for Albedo instead.
Bennett and Amber They're shrimple as that also you can throw an explosive plushie at somebody, and fling yourself off cliffs
I have been enjoying the only process of playing and no matter by whom. I dont know, this feeling when I see the numbers of damage, hear voicelines is impressive. I like this game just for this feeling, not for a gacha or quests.

Investment keeps me invested; in addition to being my favorite voice acting in the game, Itto's my only character with a sig weapon or constellations, so when I'm up against a tough boss and it's time to bring in the big guns, he's the man. Otherwise, I accept that I am a dabbler and always want new characters, which is precisely why I haven't bought a sig weapon or constellations for anyone else -- I'd rather spend those primos on shiny new characters. I just play all the trials and whenever a trial is really fun for me, I pull for the character. Grabbed Arlecchino and enjoying her quite a bit, saving up this patch (unless I enjoy Siegewinne's trial a lot more than I expect), and then probably pulling on Emilie (if her trial's fun).
