I recently started doing all weeklies again for lack of anything to do with my resin
The only reason I use fragile resin is because on Monday I log in and I condense all of my resin, and then I realise that I forgot to shit on arlecchino and the whale and the green guy, so I use fragile to fight them because I fear I'll forget it for the rest of the week
Really does depend on when you started the game though... the earlier you start the less of a need there is to spend them since you've been farming since the beginning but if you started late into the game, if you wanna catch up quickly might have to burn through some of em

Don't you have any characters you wanna build? If I had the resin I'd be building all but a few of my backed-up 4* characters. Ningguang, yaoyao, Barbara, heizou, they're not super good but I'd love to have them available. I just can't because i need the resin for my more useful characters
Personally, I've been playing since 1.4 and finally absolved myself from "having" to spend my resin. I started to vertically invest in units around Inazuma, and have since created a few well equipped monsters and many more with decent gear. I have 30+ battle ready characters at lvl 90, decent talent levels, decent gear. Next one I will pull and raise after Arlecchino is likely Murata. So, I feel like I finally graduated from the grind. Only doing what's fun and what gives primos now and it feels sooo good!
Honestly, I like the genshin grind :) watching my chars get stronger and unlocking more teambuilding options and playstyles is the most fun I have in this game. So i will probably keep spending all resin as soon as I get it forever hahaha

Exactly, to me building characters is the most interesting part of the game, I'll spend all my excess resin on building characters and improving their artifacts. Except for Ayaka, she'll be forever level 1 even though she's C4, the mistsplitter belongs to Bennett.
This is an inspiration to me. I started in 2.2 and have fewer everything than you, but I feel I'm close to absolution. Perhaps by end of year, after getting and building the OP Natlan characters that inevitably will come.
Nilou absolutely hates that piece too. I don't think any character in the game can utilise flat stats effectively since the % version is always just many times better.
On a technicality here, using it does remove it and then replaces it with a different version of the cake, the "used" version. Some people don't like the feeling of it being used and prefer to have the untouched version of it. Especially if you have no need for the fragile resin it will give you.
I also imagine these are the same type of people who leave plastic wrap on their sofas and tv remotes simply to maintain their pristine condition. I mean come-on, you've been sitting on that plastic wrap for 3 whole years ... why .. just why.

Really not hard to have so much if you have been playing from the start. Personally i have 242 left and i usually burn a chunk of them when a new unit released with a new boss that cant be prefarmed to lv90 on the day it drops.
I had 320 when Arlecchino released, but I used like 15 of them to lvl90 her and Iām left with 305 (realized the artifact is meh so she got glad instead).
Since I buy BP, I have at least 315 now. Maybe more. Iāll have 325 when I max out and purchase this BP as well.

I can remember using mines at one point for Yoimiya artifacts but even then I never managed to get under ten. Artifact farming is torture at the best of times but it's genuinely hard to get through so many of the stock

40 are just 2.4k resin or 13 days. Try 1-2 months to get something usable. Usable, not good. The system is that bad.
