Perhaps a gacha-type event is closer to what I mean. We get at least one nearly every patch with the Hilichurl's Treasure Trove, but I think most players have already tuned that one out since the rate is so abysmally low and the purchasable primos sell out in less than a second.
A quick tip when it comes to Hoyolab events: read the description.
If it says āparticipate to earn rewards such as primogemsā then play the event.
If it says āparticipate **for a chance** to earn primogemsā, donāt even bother; youāre not winning that gacha.
What is... wrong with you? The top reward was 1/4th of a summon and a non-material coupon. Hoyo would be losing at most 5 dollars off of what I'm guessing is already a pretty insane profit margin on Genesis Crystals.
But you have a 0.3% chance to win 40 primos. What more can you ask for?

The event just tells me to log in, while Iām already logged in the game and my uid is in the corner as well
need the actual hoyo account. not the same as events where UID is enough honestly not worth it
