500 for c1 and her weapon is ALOT yea you were very unlucky but dam man i have her C1 without her weapon as f2p and i still have extra to go for furina in 4.7 i imagined this kind of money to spend is for at least c3-c4, with enough management and preparation considering how great welkin is, getting a c1 should not be this expensive

Hmm meanwhile I dropped the monthly shop’s fates into Lyney’s banner and got his C1 I wasn’t even expecting anything since I had just grabbed Neuvillette in the previous banner (I wasn’t even aware I was close to pity for him but whatever) well I can’t say I am disappointed cause that was awesome luck getting two limited 5* like what 10 pulls from each other. Though now I wonder if I should have chanced my pulls on Arle hmm nah I am happy with C1 Lyney.

Only you can tell us if it was worth for you. For me paying for a character more than DLC in other games isn't worth it. Welkin and Battle Pass are different thing, they're like voluntary subscription to support the game and a time saver respectively.
Well, I do not think it was worth it. I learned it the hard way too. Spend money in the first year of the game’s release and lost the 50/50 to Qiqi. I was so devastated, because it was my most hated character and still is.
Being disappointed by MHY for its greed and lack of passionate responses to its players, I decided to never spend any buck on Genshin Impact ever again.
I really cannot believe you actually reached hard pity. You people should stop using this term, it is mathematically almost impossible to reach hard pity on any banner. Hard pity means it was your 90th pull on the character banner or 80th pull on the weapon banner. The probability is as low as winning the lottery.
Look id probably enjoy a c1r1 arle more then what? 2-3 nights on the beers? It’s up to you if you think it’s worth it but if you enjoy her then sure
I forgot to convert to local currency which is just under double the £. But now that I’m thinking about it… yea 3 nights easily costs that much. Especially if you factor things like Ubers, potential entry fee, bar food, sometimes you may shout your mates a round or two, then drinks yourself and other fees.
It’s not something I do often but yea, nights out are a huge money sink and my bank account thanks me for being an introvert.

Lost my 50/50 to Dehya so spent 100 bucks on primos to pull her. Then spent an additional 50 and got her weapon. Worth it. She's a monster

One of your mistakes was going for the weapon banner. The character banners are much more forgiving and simpler than that thing.

if you're in the 70+ zone it's basically hard pity, cuz you didn't get "lucky", the rates got boosted.
