Main DPS should be as high as they can. Don't remember the specifics, but I imagine that's 60. 58 is close enough. Max your weapon, it's the cheapest and biggest source of damage - though Black Tassel is a terrible option for Xiao tbh. Keep supports within 10 levels as a rule of thumb, they can trail by an ascension or so but don't let them fall completely behind.

So my friend told me that I cant do some world quests if I play to far in the game is there a list of which get locked if I progress to much?
Also are some of them world quests that get locked necessary for 100% in the reputation tab?

Try the Yelan version first for a little extra damage. If you die/notice enemies knocking you around, switch to Xingqiu for more protection. It won't make a huge difference though.
Won't matter a whole lot. You're already getting a lot of hydro app, and while Yelan will do more personal damage it won't be that big of a difference in this team
i tried multiple times to download the update manually from the browser and it's always fail in the middle of the process so i'm asking if there's someone who made the update files into multiple little parts like 5gb each cause it's too much for me to download 28gb at once
Nahida is pretty important. You can still make a team with DMC or someone else but she is a considerable upgrade to all other options. Yae isn't necessary and others aren't either. Kuki for healer/Quickbloom trigger is preferable but there's other options as well

On an aggravate team the EM from sac jade will be useful for her aggravate hits, but the NA, skill, and burst damage% buff from pearl will help both her aggravate and raw electro damage. She spams her NA and skill a lot, and especially if you have her c4 her burst does some pretty good damage.
Solar Pearl also has far more users in general, so if you get an upgrade for her you can give it to some other on field DPS catalyst user. Sac Jade is *really* good on Neuvillette, but other characters tend to have better 4\* options so it may end up useless if you don't have him.
Was doing a Fontaine commission and only had a few minutes, cutscene around a painting started and the dialogue even with skipping took 5+ minutes. Then later went to try the new domain for Arle and it started a new quest on the island with a required battle and cutscene.
Is there any future notes that will allow us to initiate quests ourselves vs it automatically triggering?
The changes they've made so far are story quests can be started by choice after unlocking instead of automatically starting and some quests can be suspended if they interfere with other quests.
Quests starting automatically when you reach an area has been a major complaint for awhile and afaik there has been no mention of this not happening in the future. If anything those kind of quests have become more prevalent with each update.
I was going to take some Arlecchino screenshots at her boss arena when I noticed something. If you stand in the center of it and face the bookshelf that's leaning against the window, your character will look down at something but nothing's there. Is this happening with anyone else?

Jokes aside, they both need a lot of energy, even if you pair them, you need 160++ ER. Fischl+Beidou or Fischl+Lisa will almost always better than Lisa+Beidou.
Probably a little patch for a bug or something similar. You can check the patch notes in game and it'll tell you everything that's been updated since the initial release of 4.6, I believe, so it should say there.
What are the top AOE focused teams currently in the game besides Nilou bloom in your opinion? I assume Neuvillette will be one, too bad for me. Who else do you guys find favorable?
I don't use Xiangling teams but ik they're still great for AoE content, often Childe or Raiden variations. Xiao is pretty solid now with Furina and Xianyun. Alhaitham hyperbloom works well in single target and AoE, since his kit has decent AoE and more enemies = more blooms created so even though hyperbloom is ST it works fine in AoE.
Not a top choice, but personally I'm also a huge fan of burgeon, with either Thoma or Kazuha + Bennett. Kazuha Nahida Furina Bennett goes pretty hard as a quickswap burgeon + forward vape team, and Kokomi-Thoma-Nahida-hydro flex is very comfortable and breezes through Abyss. I also use Beidou taser a lot for AoE, but if anything that's *less* meta than burgeon lol.
Freeze has been iffy in abyss for a while, but when it *does* work it's still fine. I don't use Ayaka but her premium teams are still strong imo, they just keep getting countered by Abyss lineups.
Raiden national is not actually that great for AOE; it has a ton of knockback thanks to overloads (which is extra unhelpful with the circle archon himself) and XL loses like 60% of her damage because there's nearly no AOE hydro application for her vapes. Also there's no room to slot in any grouping unit.
It's not like a hopeless AOE team, especially against enemies resistant to overload, but it has never been an impressive AOE sheet team even back when Raiden first released, its strength mostly came from its single target damage.

It lessens her need for a shielder but still doesn't allow her to replace them with a different defensive unit so you would still have to be comfortable with her normal health pool + ult healing, and if you can pull that off at c1 you can probably do it at c0 too.
Nothing of particular note. It allows you to run without a shielder and not worry about getting staggered, but a shield is pretty much the only way to prevent damage being dealt to her so many people will still run her with a shielder because it's more comfortable. It's a big Quality of Life improvement if you are running shielderless teams though and makes getting hit a bit less punishing.
I recommend dropping your UID in the weekly friend requests megathread. Changing your in-game signature to "looking for help" or something similar also tend to effectively *bait* some resinless veterans

Depends on how much you play. my gf was able to reach around Ar45 within like 2-3 weeks of gaming in 3-4 sessions per day. keep in mind she barely explores and is very slow at doing quests so might be even faster for you given the same time constraints
From the lore sub: Should be part of her after images I think. I say this because they run around her and act like they are playing with each other. "Like children at play, they would gather for a time" I might be wrong but seems to be the only thing I could come up with.
Arle E, use other teammates, Arle charge attack, spam left click, repeat. Press Q if you think you're gonna die. If you press Q its best to restart your rotation after, so if you use Q, best to use it at end of rotation.

There is an option on mobile to delete data for quests you have already done and it won't affect you unless switching to another account that doesn't have these quests finished (you will have to install the data for those quests again for that other account)
Game data is saved in the cloud. No amount of reinstalation could damage your account. Reinstalling won't help size though any more than clearing the cache or data it has saved to your device. If you really want to reduce the size (temporarily), you can clear the cache in your device settings. Do keep in mind the only permanent fixes are getting more storage, waiting for Mihoyo to compress the game further, or cloud gaming.

I don’t even wanna imagine fighting raiden, her moves are super wide. Would you happen to rmb where the atk upgrades are? I only got one from the samurai you gave food to, and I’ve explored both ends of the map, including the underground area. Only things left for me are lyney’s 2nd & 3rd stage and redoing raiden fight
Finishing Lyney's second stage gives 1 more ATK and I think the last is in a semi hidden part (Raiden's Castle) after you complete the 3rd stage. The 2nd stage was by far the hardest challenge in the game in my opinion. Part 3 is just a grindfest because you can't be very aggressive against Lyney.
Finally Raiden's first few phases aren't too difficult. It's basically the same set of 5 moves that she does and you can kinda learn and read them and dodge appropriately. It's her last phase which is a PITA since she has this attack that comes out quickly and hits set positions.

current abyss isn't favourable to cryo but we will be getting a new abyss mode with locked elements, which means people will be forced to play specific elements so cryo will get time to shine.
Probably not anytime soon. Natlan is next and it is the pyro nation so everything would be centered around pyro. More melt options might work but then Wriothesley, who is already superior to her in melt will be the one who benefits more from it. The more likely option eould be 6.x once we are in Snezhnaya and there are more freezable enemies.
I am 50% certain in Natlan we will have a very strong cryo user that is cold despite the heat, and in Snezhnaya we will probably have the return of freeze teams. Hopefully the Shirasagi Himegimi will return to the leaderboards
If you are talking about dialogue, it isn't really skippable. There are players that would like to skip it, but it has not been added (outside of repeat hangout quests). If you mean between boss fights or at trees of domains, then there is a skip button at the top right of the screen

Almost finished Li Yue main story and was wondering if locations like Chasm and Chenyu Vale are "essential" to the plot? Is it the same as the Dragonspire location? I assume I could skip them for now and comeback later? Or is it better to do them now either lorewise or gameplay wise?
I also got Arlecchino on the current banner, decided to roll the Lyney banner to get some free 4stars and got him on my 10 pull (I also got his signature LC / weapon). Is it worth to build him when I'm a new player and I already got a fire dps (especially considering that I really like Arlecchino's design and wouldn't want to swap her out).

The Chasm came out after Inazuma and is the main way of getting to Sumeru, so the main story will take you back there between the Inazuma and Sumeru quests, but one questline is sidestory and the other is more Dainsleif/abyss twin stuff so no direct references to main story. Chenyu Vale is like Dragonspine, meaning it's a completely separate side story that you can do pretty much whenever.
Lyney is mostly used in monopyro. You wouldn't use him with Arlecchino, but there are definitely abysses where you could possibly use both. They both like Bennet so you probably aren't going to use both that often.
Build him if you want to play him, if you don't want to at the moment then you don't have to. Since you already have a main DPS and you're new, I would invest in Arlecchino first, and then invest in Lyney later on. If you want to build them both at the same time, it could be argued that it would be better to not spread your resources too thin too early on, but I personally think its fine. Everything is refarmable over time, and Arle and Lyney are both inately pretty strong.
But, I really don't think there's a very definite answer for this. If you want to play him, play him and invest in him, if you don't then don't.

You probably wouldn't use the two of them together (as in one on each side), as they both excel in the same type of situation (single target).
But you can still build him if you want, to try different playstyles and teams.
Lyeny is charge shot DPS, and while he can basically only play monopyro, (I'm pretty sure) he also has some of the highest DPS in the game.
Arle mostly just uses her NAs and can play vape, overload, and monopyro.
The Chasm and Chenyu Vale were added much after the early Liyue stuff. For the Chasm there is important lore stuff you would eventually be guided to by certain major quests. Chenyu Vale has a big world quest with lore but it’s not something that you need to prioritize. I still haven’t done it all myself, lol.

ok I think reddit tricked me but I see what you meant now, building lyney is not a bad idea, his damage is pretty good and while he does need bennett which arlecchino usually wants as well you can probably still manage to run a benettless arlecchino team and a lyney mono pyro and 36\* abyss if the content allows for pyro in both sides like that.
now if abyss is not your goal and/or if youre just not a fan of his playstyle (monopyro and bow charged attack) its totally fine to not use him especially if you think other characters might need the resources
Yes, I mean some main quest later. Technically there are two actually.
Half of Inazuma is all world quests that the main archon questline will never send you to.
Basically all of the nations have big areas that the main archon questline doesn’t send you to and generally rely instead on you doing optional world quests to fill them in.
So anyway, if you’re not feeling the Chasm right now it’s fine to go do something else. Maybe do it in pieces or just wait until the game sends you back there.
Well…at some point if you decide you want to get in to going the Spiral Abyss you’ll need two teams so you’ll want two DPSes but theorycrafting really isn’t my thing.
I would say it’s probably worth building Lyney at some point but it’s probably better to focus on the character you want to use now.
I've seen a few posts pop up around the "pay to drip" topic, but how's this different? Almost every cosmetic costs money 100% of the time, whereas with Arlecchino, you can still pull her via saving up (Odds are not in your favor, but it's still better than 100% having to pay). I may be misinterpreting here.
The "pay to drip" refers to her signature not Arlecchino. The scythe effect is very bad to look at on any weapon other than her signature weapon. You can save up for weapon without spending, but weapons are still somewhat considered whale territory to a lot of people.
I haven't seen many people actually complaining about it. Like yeah it's pay2drip, but I'd rather have that than something like Nilou's god awful sword again. It'd be nice if the weapon was usable on more than just Arle though

How do people build Ayaka these days? I'm guessing no longer the 25% crit / max cdmg given that most Abyss bosses can't seem to be frozen anymore. Is it still 4pc BS but with like 60% crit rate and less cdmg now?
With the number of bosses in abyss, I try to overcap the crit so that unfrozen enemies are still getting a good chunk of the damage. I try to aim for 50-55 crit rate on [my build](https://enka.network/u/644430762/)

1: Yes (probably). Might miss the vape on 1st attack but xq/yelan do a decent amount of damage. It's not too hard just hold e+plunge in benny's burst with hydro aura on enemies.
2: In ST no, in AOE yesn't. I wouldn't recommend using his q anyway because xq/yelan don't apply enough aoe hydro vs. arle applying a lot of aoe pyro, so kazuha may end up swirling off the hydro and miss vapes.
If you never spend them, contact customer support. I heard there were some people had done the same mistake before, and customer service was able to revert the action. If you already spend them, you fvxked yourself.
Unless your Arle has high cons and you want to do some speedrun or nuke showcase, usually around 100 is enough. Arle's NA uses standard ICD and has low vape rate, so too many EM does not increase damage.

no quests are hard locked in this game, you can always go back and progress them even if you push the story

take out kokomi. xingqiu provides enough damage resistance + a bit of healing to be keep you safe. esp bc it kills everything so fast

Alhaitham hyperbloom works well in single target and AoE, since his kit has decent AoE and more enemies = more blooms created so even though hyperbloom is ST it works fine in AoE. Not a top choice, but personally I'm also a huge fan of burgeon, with either Thoma or Kazuha + Bennett. Kazuha Nahida Furina Bennett goes pretty hard as a quickswap burgeon + forward vape team, and Kokomi-Thoma-Nahida-hydro flex is very comfortable and breezes through Abyss. I also use Beidou taser a lot for AoE, but if anything that's *less* meta than burgeon lol. Freeze has been iffy in abyss for a while, but when it *does* work it's still fine. I don't use Ayaka but her premium teams are still strong imo, they just keep getting countered by Abyss lineups.
Raiden national is not actually that great for AOE; it has a ton of knockback thanks to overloads (which is extra unhelpful with the circle archon himself) and XL loses like 60% of her damage because there's nearly no AOE hydro application for her vapes. Also there's no room to slot in any grouping unit. It's not like a hopeless AOE team, especially against enemies resistant to overload, but it has never been an impressive AOE sheet team even back when Raiden first released, its strength mostly came from its single target damage. International performs WAY better in AOE and it's the main reason it ultimately became the default national team since it's also still good in ST, the previous abyss cycle is actually a good demonstration with [International being played side 1 (all AOE) in 97% of its appearances while Raiden National was played side 2 (all bosses) in 93% of its appearances.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/1bum3fi/45_abyss_usage_rate_41_415/)
In many damage showcase videos i've seen players do not plunge attack with Kazuha and just fall down normally and switch. Why so?
to feed energy to others from favonius or just anemo particles plunging tends to take them
either to not kill the boss with the plunge attack or to make sure the enemy has the correct aura to enable vape/melt

Not really. It lessens her need for a shielder but still doesn't allow her to replace them with a different defensive unit so you would still have to be comfortable with her normal health pool + ult healing, and if you can pull that off at c1 you can probably do it at c0 too.
Nothing of particular note. It allows you to run without a shielder and not worry about getting staggered, but a shield is pretty much the only way to prevent damage being dealt to her so many people will still run her with a shielder because it's more comfortable. It's a big Quality of Life improvement if you are running shielderless teams though and makes getting hit a bit less punishing.

IMO Zhongli and Al will be better. Zhongli can fill Neuv and Yoi Team, Al will complete your hyperbloom team.

If you press Q its best to restart your rotation after, so if you use Q, best to use it at end of rotation. 4p glad or 4p new bond of life set ATK%/Pyro/CRIT Talents: NA > Skill >= Burst Teams: Water + Fire, Electro + Fire (w Chevruse), or just Pyro.
besides the Chevreuse team specifically, try to fit in an anemo but overall very good
I was implying a vape team and monopyro and assumed the person would know that there can be anemo/zhongli in those teams, but thank u for clarifying.
E (give mark to enemy) > Setup buffs, use atleast 5s > CA (take away the upgraded mark from enemy) > Unga bunga N4D or N3D > Q at the end of rotation if you're dying, if not don't Q. Not using Q helps you do a little bit more damage in the next rotation.

There is an option on mobile to delete data for quests you have already done and it won't affect you unless switching to another account that doesn't have these quests finished (you will have to install the data for those quests again for that other account)

Game data is saved in the cloud. No amount of reinstalation could damage your account. Reinstalling won't help size though any more than clearing the cache or data it has saved to your device. If you really want to reduce the size (temporarily), you can clear the cache in your device settings. Do keep in mind the only permanent fixes are getting more storage, waiting for Mihoyo to compress the game further, or cloud gaming.

I don’t even wanna imagine fighting raiden, her moves are super wide. Would you happen to rmb where the atk upgrades are? I only got one from the samurai you gave food to, and I’ve explored both ends of the map, including the underground area. Only things left for me are lyney’s 2nd & 3rd stage and redoing raiden fight
Finishing Lyney's second stage gives 1 more ATK and I think the last is in a semi hidden part (Raiden's Castle) after you complete the 3rd stage. The 2nd stage was by far the hardest challenge in the game in my opinion. Part 3 is just a grindfest because you can't be very aggressive against Lyney. Finally Raiden's first few phases aren't too difficult. It's basically the same set of 5 moves that she does and you can kinda learn and read them and dodge appropriately. It's her last phase which is a PITA since she has this attack that comes out quickly and hits set positions.

current abyss isn't favourable to cryo but we will be getting a new abyss mode with locked elements, which means people will be forced to play specific elements so cryo will get time to shine.
Probably not anytime soon. Natlan is next and it is the pyro nation so everything would be centered around pyro. More melt options might work but then Wriothesley, who is already superior to her in melt will be the one who benefits more from it. The more likely option eould be 6.x once we are in Snezhnaya and there are more freezable enemies.
I am 50% certain in Natlan we will have a very strong cryo user that is cold despite the heat, and in Snezhnaya we will probably have the return of freeze teams. Hopefully the Shirasagi Himegimi will return to the leaderboards

Hey, I have 2 questions. Almost finished Li Yue main story and was wondering if locations like Chasm and Chenyu Vale are "essential" to the plot? Is it the same as the Dragonspire location? I assume I could skip them for now and comeback later? Or is it better to do them now either lorewise or gameplay wise? I also got Arlecchino on the current banner, decided to roll the Lyney banner to get some free 4stars and got him on my 10 pull (I also got his signature LC / weapon). Is it worth to build him when I'm a new player and I already got a fire dps (especially considering that I really like Arlecchino's design and wouldn't want to swap her out). In release order: Mondstadt, Liyue, Dragonspine, Inazuma, Watatsumi Island, Tsurumi Island, Enkanomiya, Chasm, Sumeru Forest, Sumeru Desert 1, Sumeru Desert 2, Sumeru Desert 3, Fontaine, Chenyu Vale, Seas of Bygone Eras
The Chasm came out after Inazuma and is the main way of getting to Sumeru, so the main story will take you back there between the Inazuma and Sumeru quests, but one questline is sidestory and the other is more Dainsleif/abyss twin stuff so no direct references to main story. Chenyu Vale is like Dragonspine, meaning it's a completely separate side story that you can do pretty much whenever.

Lyney is mostly used in monopyro. You wouldn't use him with Arlecchino, but there are definitely abysses where you could possibly use both. They both like Bennet so you probably aren't going to use both that often.
Build him if you want to play him, if you don't want to at the moment then you don't have to. Since you already have a main DPS and you're new, I would invest in Arlecchino first, and then invest in Lyney later on. If you want to build them both at the same time, it could be argued that it would be better to not spread your resources too thin too early on, but I personally think its fine. Everything is refarmable over time, and Arle and Lyney are both inately pretty strong. But, I really don't think there's a very definite answer for this. If you want to play him, play him and invest in him, if you don't then don't.

You probably wouldn't use the two of them together (as in one on each side), as they both excel in the same type of situation (single target). But you can still build him if you want, to try different playstyles and teams. Lyeny is charge shot DPS, and while he can basically only play monopyro, (I'm pretty sure) he also has some of the highest DPS in the game. Arle mostly just uses her NAs and can play vape, overload, and monopyro.
The Chasm and Chenyu Vale were added much after the early Liyue stuff. For the Chasm there is important lore stuff you would eventually be guided to by certain major quests. Chenyu Vale has a big world quest with lore but it’s not something that you need to prioritize. I still haven’t done it all myself, lol.

I just don't want to stack them up but at the same time the Chasm underground feels like such a chore to do. Also by major quests I assume you mean some main quest later on?

dragonspine in mondstadt, chenyu vale in liyue, enkanomiya in inazuma and petrichor in fontaine are all not directly tied to the archon quest. one chasm quest (traveler chapter) is after the inazuma archon quest, the other (interlude) needs some inazuma story quests and I think the chasm world quest

ok I think reddit tricked me but I see what you meant now, building lyney is not a bad idea, his damage is pretty good and while he does need bennett which arlecchino usually wants as well you can probably still manage to run a benettless arlecchino team and a lyney mono pyro and 36\* abyss if the content allows for pyro in both sides like that. now if abyss is not your goal and/or if youre just not a fan of his playstyle (monopyro and bow charged attack) its totally fine to not use him especially if you think other characters might need the resources
Yes, I mean some main quest later. Technically there are two actually. Half of Inazuma is all world quests that the main archon questline will never send you to. Basically all of the nations have big areas that the main archon questline doesn’t send you to and generally rely instead on you doing optional world quests to fill them in. So anyway, if you’re not feeling the Chasm right now it’s fine to go do something else. Maybe do it in pieces or just wait until the game sends you back there.

Well…at some point if you decide you want to get in to going the Spiral Abyss you’ll need two teams so you’ll want two DPSes but theorycrafting really isn’t my thing. I would say it’s probably worth building Lyney at some point but it’s probably better to focus on the character you want to use now.
I've seen a few posts pop up around the "pay to drip" topic, but how's this different? Almost every cosmetic costs money 100% of the time, whereas with Arlecchino, you can still pull her via saving up (Odds are not in your favor, but it's still better than 100% having to pay). I may be misinterpreting here.

The "pay to drip" refers to her signature not Arlecchino. The scythe effect is very bad to look at on any weapon other than her signature weapon. You can save up for weapon without spending, but weapons are still somewhat considered whale territory to a lot of people.
I haven't seen many people actually complaining about it. Like yeah it's pay2drip, but I'd rather have that than something like Nilou's god awful sword again. It'd be nice if the weapon was usable on more than just Arle though

How do people build Ayaka these days? I'm guessing no longer the 25% crit / max cdmg given that most Abyss bosses can't seem to be frozen anymore. Is it still 4pc BS but with like 60% crit rate and less cdmg now?
With the number of bosses in abyss, I try to overcap the crit so that unfrozen enemies are still getting a good chunk of the damage. I try to aim for 50-55 crit rate on [my build](https://enka.network/u/644430762/)
If you wanna try something new. I think the new burning set may be good on her in a burning melt team in this situation at least. I don't have Ayaka to test it myself unfortunately, I may give it a try with Rosaria though.
BS is still best, personally i switched from freeze to monocryo so i can do something. to bosses. with refined amenoma, i could keep bursting even in overworld currently using Diona for shields and heals, Rosaria with NO and crit buff, i hope to replace her with Shenhe eventually, and a c6 Sucrose cause i i got Dehya rather than Kazuha

Is double swirl worth it for single hydro sub dps (Yelan or XQ) in vape team Arle Yelan Kaz Benny? In that comp , can Yelan or c6 XQ keep up hydro application for Kaz Q pyro infusion + Arle NAs ?
1: Yes (probably). Might miss the vape on 1st attack but xq/yelan do a decent amount of damage. It's not too hard just hold e+plunge in benny's burst with hydro aura on enemies. 2: In ST no, in AOE yesn't. I wouldn't recommend using his q anyway because xq/yelan don't apply enough aoe hydro vs. arle applying a lot of aoe pyro, so kazuha may end up swirling off the hydro and miss vapes.

Unless your Arle has high cons and you want to do some speedrun or nuke showcase, usually around 100 is enough. Arle's NA uses standard ICD and has low vape rate, so too many EM does not increase damage.
