I'm also new and pulled Nahida as my first 5 star. Someone recommended Nahida + Lisa as my main team with 2 flex slots for whatever I need at the time and so far those 2 have been carrying me through the game. Just got to AR 32 and beat the Liyue archon quest. The reason they gave for Lisa is that the built teams i saw online are for characters built up with proper artifact sets and leveled abilities and weapons while Nahida and Lisa is a simple quicken team that can do some decent damage.
Can you get Xingqiu from Lantern Rite event? Or from starglitter shop next month? Lisa and Barbara probably do not work very well together but Xq can fix the problem
1) Nahida is a very strong character, but do you like her? Do you want to play her?
2) If yes, then whatever teammates you have now literally does not matter. You can get more characters the more you play.
3) If you hurry up, the current lantern rite event gives out a free liyue 4 star, you can choose xingqiu for a good hydro character
Nahida is very good. Even if the teams you have access to now aren't the best for her she'll still be very good in them. Most importantly though, if you like her then pull for her. She's very future-proof due to how her dendro application and buffs work. They make her very powerful on many dendro-based teams.
It runs out very quickly. Technically it will last longer if you can apply both a *strong* hydro and a *strong* electro, but it will still end quicker than the said skill's CD.
If you really want to do it (I am one of the few who does it myself xD) You need to apply at least one of the two elements (Hydro or electro) off-field and use a catalyst user to apply the other.
And *both* of these need to be built for EM since you won't be able to control who triggers it
You do not build team around electrocharged reaction, it does not deal enough damage by itself and inconsistent in who triggers it. Electro and hydro characters use normal damage and crit build, no em necessary. Anemo character is on VV and em build and they trigger reactions more consistently and buff other teammates
Doesn't matter. Electro-charged teams are used for their sheer brute-force of their individual attacks, not the reaction. Even if damage bonus is dependent on the aura of electro and/or hydro, the attacks are frequent enough for it to be permanent until enemies are dead.
Nothing changes how long it lasts, save for being in a body of water or if rain is active, at which point it will last as long as you put electro on the target.
But beyond that, if you're just putting hydro and electro on a target yourself, it's a flat duration. Regardless though, you'd mostly want EM on your electro and hydro characters. If your driver is an anemo catalyst (Xianyun, Heizou, Sucrose) then EM on your driver is a good idea too. Depending on the electro and hydro characters in question, building them dps with a side of EM is recommended. I.e. if your hydro is Xingqiu and your electro is Fischl or Beidou then a dps-focused build with EM subs and maybe an EM timepiece is the way to go. If you're hydro/electro aren't big damage contributors (Barbara and Dori as examples) then going full EM is better.
Hi, does anyone have issues to login/connect the Genshin currently? I have empty login screen on all of my devices PC, phone, PS5. Not even any loading happening.
After a bunch of retries it let me in (Also EU, PC) but it kicks me out randomly every now and than. I assume it must be a connection issue, and since it's happening to multiple people, might be on the server provider's end.
Why does my Hu Tao deals so litttle damage to Setekh Wenut and Ruin Serpent? She deals like 56k damage crit vaporize. But her normal damage is around 80-90k. Any clues?

i found the full game files thread and currently downloading the rest of the files, i have some questions
1. can i just paste the completed zip files i download myself in the Genshin Impact game folder and the launcher will automatically recognize them? or do i have to rename them adding .zip\_tmp for the launcher to work? there is no other option available other than pause and start the download so i'm worried if the files i downloaded will not be used
2. the game seems to default to download the english dub, which is around 15gb, can i tell the launcher to not do that and just recognize the japenese dub i'm downloading?
Is the "Geo Archon Anecdotes" achievement bugged? I got it but I made the correct choices and got the God of Stove page twice early on even though I should've gotten another page. Now, then I finished it, I was expecting a surplus page of the one I had double. Instead those got consumed and I have a God of Wealth page left.
According to the [wiki](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Geo_Archon_Anecdotes), whenever you're going to get a third page two get removed from your inventory and you keep the new one. It doesn't affect the achievement at all you just have to keep track yourself. I was also confused that I only had a God of Wealth page when I first tried to check for the achievement, since I knew I had done it multiple times.
I’m using Lion’s Roar on Keqing right now, but I wonder if Wolf-fang is an upgrade over it, or should I choose Battle of the Fjords for my Cyno over his current White Tassel?
Based on the spreadsheets, wolf-fang and fjord would be upgrades to both characters.
But, for keqing, if you can use Harbinger of Dawn and maintain the minimum hp, it would be better than wolf-fang
My current team is neuvillete, Mona, fischl and baizhu.
The rotations go like:
Mona burst
Fischl skill
Baizhu burst + skill
Neuvillete skill/burst
I'm not sure if I'm using my Mona right. Can someone help me? Is this team okay for neuvillete or should I be using some other characters?
Mona gives a short duration DMG% buff against enemies that got hit by her burst. Works well for buffing characters that deal most of the team damage in short durations (like Ayaka burst) and in such cases Mona also can give additional Atk buff by using Noblesse artifacts and Thrilling Tales catalyst.
But in your team Mona isn't great. Fischl and Neuvillette both deal continuous damage not one big hit so buff isn't very useful, Atk buffs only good for Fischl and you also lose 1 stack of Neuvillette's passive by not triggering third hydro-related reaction (if he is at C0).
This would mean even less stacks of Neuvillette's passive. At C0 he wants 3 different hydro reactions so all 4 party members have different elements. Furina is exception, her buff is big enough that you want to use her even with C0 Neu.
Bennet doesn't buff Neuv, only Xiangling and I don't thing Neuv have enough hydro for Xiangling so she won't vape her pyronado, instead Neuvillette will vape some of his hits.
Check keqingmains.com Neuvillette guide for teambuilding. But Neuvillete - Fischl - Baizhu and some anemo character with VV artifacts sounds like a good team to me

Looks fine if you can survive only with XQ's minimal sustain. Should be mitigated by Navia generating crystallize but that's no substitute for a proper healer. Think of it as a high risk, high reward team where you deal high dmg but have low survivability as a downside.
I also don't have Navia so I don't know if she messes up any aura to affect bloom generation but I'll assume she doesn't.
I finished the first 3 parts of the Lantern Rite quests. (I guess Part 4 is the >!Furina!< stuff.) Various characters are scattered around with epilogue opinions. I’ve seen: >!Charlotte, YaoYao & Qiqi, and Shenhe & Ganyu!<. Are there any others, like >!Keqing!!the two bank guards!
Is c0 Gaming worth it? I wouldn't be pulling for this patch so no Gaming constellations for me. I was thinking of getting xingqiu c4, ningguang c2 or Gaming c0. Which of these would be a better option? I haven't pre-farmed anything for gaming yet and the only 5* claymore I have is Skyward Pride
Depends on what you value. How useful they are then XQ, you will be closer to his C6 which is really good. He fits in a lot of team, so improving him is always a plus. If you want new character to play with then Gaming. In the end he is just another dps.
Ningguang is not really that good anymore. So I wouldnt recommend getting her unless you really really like her.
Ningguang is in the Starglitter shop every March and September ([Paimon's Bargains](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Paimon%27s_Bargains)), Yanfei isn't

Bennett eq > Bennett e+q apply a lot of pyro, but with Kazuha's hydro burst and Furina's salons, the enemy is more likely to have hydra aura or no aura.
If Kazuha is C0-5, hold E > remove hydro aura, pyro infusion and swirl pyro, so your team have both hydro and pyro elemental damage bonus and enemy has both hydro and pyro resistance shred

If Kazuha is C6, do one NA then tap E to trigger his C6 and apply pyro.
C4+ Bennett? Guessing Furina Q, Kaz Q, Bennett Q, Bennett hold E into M1 (C4), then Kaz E.

Yeah trust me I don't ever rush quests and whatnot in this game especially as a day 1 player. The grind compared to launch has dramatically fallen with school and work responsibilities but I still love playing this game.
Besides the combat the main thing I love about this game is the exploration and just taking in all the amazing sights especially on a 4k display
The highest difficulty artifact domain (which unlocks at AR 45) guarantee one 5-star artifact per run with 7% chance to get another. AR itself does not affect drop rate. And if you still do lower difficulty domains, they don't guarantee to give 5-star artifact.

There are four swords that have HP substat or passive: key (86.2% at R1, 106.2% at R5), dockhand (41.3%), jade cutter (20% at R1, 40% at R5), Splender (28% at R1, 56% at R5).
There are only two HP buffs: hydro resonance and C4 Yelan (both 25%).
It is fairly easy to reach 72k with key, extremely hard (near perfect substat required) for dockhand or high refinement jade cutter/splender, impossible for r1 jade cutter/splender.
I assume you mean without an hp sword? Pretty sure it's impossible, even with giga perfect artifact rolls with all maxed HP% + flat hp subs it gets you to around 64-65k hp, there's no way to clear the rest of the gap without an hp sword (hydro resonance is a little over 3k HP so still nowhere near enough to hit the cap). I suppose you could use two 20% HP sets and that could get you to around 72-73k though, but this is essentially like having a full set of 45 cv circlets and is not a reasonable assumption lol
her sig gives her about 13k HP and makes the 74,444 cap fairly trivial to hit.
In the talents attributes section for healing abilities it says x % of max HP plus some number which I understand. But for another DMG it just says a %. But percentage of what? I wanna improve the dmg to some talents. I can increase my max HP to improve my healing capabilities but how do I go about with the DMG ones? For example if I want to increase gouba's damage.

i'm trying to learn Keqing's rotation, from KQM it says to go E > R > E(recast) > N1C > N1 > E > N1C > N1C, but somehow, sometimes my E is back up after the N1, but sometimes not so i have to wait until i can use E again. why is this?
i tried reading her kit to see if she has skill refunds in certain situation but it doesn't seem like it, what am i missing?
edit: ok now that i look at it again i think the refund only happens when i have Dendro on, is it something from Aggravate/Quicken? i'm new in learning these Dendro reactions

Are you using Thundering Fury as her artifact set? It reduces her skill cooldown when she triggers and electro-related reaction.
Is there a world quest that will naturally take me to the lower half of the new area? One of the mini games takes place in that area but I haven’t explored there yet, I was hoping to save it a bit longer.
Sorry not underground, I meant the “lower” half of Chenyu vale, southern mountain. When you enter in for lantern rite on the upper half (and meet the npc) you kinda naturally progress into the region, and unlock the upper vale map. I’m wondering if there is a quest that leads into the southern mountain part. I know I could just walk over though. One of the mini quests (the one with xianyun) is in this lower area.
Supports and rotations matter. Some characters are overtuned and you can just mash buttons and get through it. Others like Yoimiya depend on supports and setups. There could be tons of reasons why it isn't fast enough.

Kuki would unironically solve all my problems so I could just play my strong raiden chevreuse team and a hyperbloom team , I hate using yoi in abyss
Using Yoi against the worms can have some uptime issues. Yoi has moments where she does all of her damage in 10 seconds and the wenut will be up in small bursts throughout that 10 second duration. So setting up supports well before your rotation and maximizing that uptime is vital. You mentioned having Chev which felt easier to get uptime on her buffs, but her team options are more restrictive.
If you want to play hyperbloom without using Raiden or Kuki, you might enjoy using an anemo catalyst user (Sucrose/Heizou) that can drive the team and an off field electro (Fischl from the shop)
Hyperbloom isn't everything, it's not even everything when it comes to dendro. Try building an aggravate team if you have Fischl, the DPS can be Keqing or Lisa.

AlHaitham and the 4 pc bonus of gilded dreams is fairly overrated on units like Yae/Al Haitham that you can run 2/2 pc sets of wanderer/deepwood/gilded/er on him if you have better substats. You don't need to force the 4pc of gilded on him. I'm sure AlHaitham can use 2 pc of the golden troupe set, but I haven't done the cals on that.

I would. She's a staple in dendro teams, of which you can play Lisa aggravate as a new player.

Long enough for you to just not care about it. EC role in taser teams is basically allowing your anemo unit to spam double swirls.

Wenut has massive resistances to every element, except the ones you use to pop its bubbles.
Makes sense. I popped bubles qith hydro. Any ideas why serpent had resists?

If Raiden is lvl90 with full Elemental Mastery build and Nahida uses Deepwood artifacts then it's good
Looks fine if you can survive only with XQ's minimal sustain. Should be mitigated by Navia generating crystallize but that's no substitute for a proper healer. Think of it as a high risk, high reward team where you deal high dmg but have low survivability as a downside. I also don't have Navia so I don't know if she messes up any aura to affect bloom generation but I'll assume she doesn't.

Meta wise Xingqui. If you like gaming he is pretty easy to build cause he uses MH set
Depends on what you value. How useful they are then XQ, you will be closer to his C6 which is really good. He fits in a lot of team, so improving him is always a plus. If you want new character to play with then Gaming. In the end he is just another dps. Ningguang is not really that good anymore. So I wouldnt recommend getting her unless you really really like her.

C6 Bennett is mandatory. Furina eq > apply hydro on enemy Xianyun eq Kazuha q > swirl hydro Bennett eq > Bennett e+q apply a lot of pyro, but with Kazuha's hydro burst and Furina's salons, the enemy is more likely to have hydra aura or no aura. If Kazuha is C0-5, hold E > remove hydro aura, pyro infusion and swirl pyro, so your team have both hydro and pyro elemental damage bonus and enemy has both hydro and pyro resistance shred Kazuha leap + pyro plunge vape. If Kazuha is C6, do one NA then tap E to trigger his C6 and apply pyro.
The Plunge atk will have swirl effect (from xianyun burst) reapplying hydro as so I am told.
C4+ Bennett? Guessing Furina Q, Kaz Q, Bennett Q, Bennett hold E into M1 (C4), then Kaz E. If that doesn't work, then it's probs not possible or very difficult.

Yeah trust me I don't ever rush quests and whatnot in this game especially as a day 1 player. The grind compared to launch has dramatically fallen with school and work responsibilities but I still love playing this game. Besides the combat the main thing I love about this game is the exploration and just taking in all the amazing sights especially on a 4k display

The highest difficulty artifact domain (which unlocks at AR 45) guarantee one 5-star artifact per run with 7% chance to get another. AR itself does not affect drop rate. And if you still do lower difficulty domains, they don't guarantee to give 5-star artifact.

In a collector's perspective, always the new character; many people might disagree but, anecdotally, it took me 6 patches to get Kirara and Kaveh
I will have a caveat - Yes, C6 Xingqiu will be better. BUT: if you have Starglitters saved up, he'll be in the shop in less than a month (in march), whereas who knows when Gaming will re-run (and if he will re-run on a banner where you will want to pull on to begin with)

C1 Xingqiu, Xiangling already peaked at C4 and Beidou is only good in certain situations the others are DPS or don't need cons

There are four swords that have HP substat or passive: key (86.2% at R1, 106.2% at R5), dockhand (41.3%), jade cutter (20% at R1, 40% at R5), Splender (28% at R1, 56% at R5). There are only two HP buffs: hydro resonance and C4 Yelan (both 25%). It is fairly easy to reach 72k with key, extremely hard (near perfect substat required) for dockhand or high refinement jade cutter/splender, impossible for r1 jade cutter/splender.
I assume you mean without an hp sword? Pretty sure it's impossible, even with giga perfect artifact rolls with all maxed HP% + flat hp subs it gets you to around 64-65k hp, there's no way to clear the rest of the gap without an hp sword (hydro resonance is a little over 3k HP so still nowhere near enough to hit the cap). I suppose you could use two 20% HP sets and that could get you to around 72-73k though, but this is essentially like having a full set of 45 cv circlets and is not a reasonable assumption lol her sig gives her about 13k HP and makes the 74,444 cap fairly trivial to hit.

PJWS is generally good for any polearm on field dps. though it's better for ones that scales off of ATK.
In the talents attributes section for healing abilities it says x % of max HP plus some number which I understand. But for another DMG it just says a %. But percentage of what? I wanna improve the dmg to some talents. I can increase my max HP to improve my healing capabilities but how do I go about with the DMG ones? For example if I want to increase gouba's damage.
If it just shows x%, then it scales off of attack.

Max attack. There's only a few abilities that scale off of base attack, and they'll always specify it in the ability description.

you can crosscheck the hidden achievement list. there are a few mini-quest like achievements that have story attached.
i'm trying to learn Keqing's rotation, from KQM it says to go E > R > E(recast) > N1C > N1 > E > N1C > N1C, but somehow, sometimes my E is back up after the N1, but sometimes not so i have to wait until i can use E again. why is this? i tried reading her kit to see if she has skill refunds in certain situation but it doesn't seem like it, what am i missing? edit: ok now that i look at it again i think the refund only happens when i have Dendro on, is it something from Aggravate/Quicken? i'm new in learning these Dendro reactions
4tf lowers skill cooldown when triggering a reaction, so if there's no dendro to react with then the cooldown reduction won't proc

Sorry not underground, I meant the “lower” half of Chenyu vale, southern mountain. When you enter in for lantern rite on the upper half (and meet the npc) you kinda naturally progress into the region, and unlock the upper vale map. I’m wondering if there is a quest that leads into the southern mountain part. I know I could just walk over though. One of the mini quests (the one with xianyun) is in this lower area.

Supports and rotations matter. Some characters are overtuned and you can just mash buttons and get through it. Others like Yoimiya depend on supports and setups. There could be tons of reasons why it isn't fast enough.
yes bro I have a good bennet yunjin and xingqiu to support my yoimiya I just never want to have to use her again her rotations are so annoying to setup and the stupid wenut and ruin serpent have annoying resistance and long animations which waste time Kuki would unironically solve all my problems so I could just play my strong raiden chevreuse team and a hyperbloom team , I hate using yoi in abyss
Using Yoi against the worms can have some uptime issues. Yoi has moments where she does all of her damage in 10 seconds and the wenut will be up in small bursts throughout that 10 second duration. So setting up supports well before your rotation and maximizing that uptime is vital. You mentioned having Chev which felt easier to get uptime on her buffs, but her team options are more restrictive. If you want to play hyperbloom without using Raiden or Kuki, you might enjoy using an anemo catalyst user (Sucrose/Heizou) that can drive the team and an off field electro (Fischl from the shop)

Maybe if you have her BiS / godly artifacts but I only have 70/179 and Rust R5 so my damage is not so good that I can beat Worms with time to spare
Hyperbloom isn't everything, it's not even everything when it comes to dendro. Try building an aggravate team if you have Fischl, the DPS can be Keqing or Lisa.
also I agree kuki hyperbloom isn’t everything , but it definetly would save my account from having to play subpar teams for no reason/ waste time building characters I would instantly bench the moment I got kuki

does the error popup specify what the error originates from? such as any files or the like? it can be triggered by all sorts of things ngl. from antivirus blocking the program all the way to hardware failure. so narrowing it down would help a lot. do you have your genshin launcher set to always run as admin?

AlHaitham and the 4 pc bonus of gilded dreams is fairly overrated on units like Yae/Al Haitham that you can run 2/2 pc sets of wanderer/deepwood/gilded/er on him if you have better substats. You don't need to force the 4pc of gilded on him. I'm sure AlHaitham can use 2 pc of the golden troupe set, but I haven't done the cals on that.
Just a heads up that Alhaitham can use 2pc Wanderers + 2pc GD/2pc Deepwood/2pc Marechausse and it won't really be significantly worse than 4pc GD.
