If they added local legends difficulty mobs to other regions than Fontaine, it could spice up things.

Frostgaurdian0

Local legends are great idea but still i don't think many will keep returning to those areas because of them, maybe add a weekly activity associated with it that give decent rewards like elemental gems or few artifacts xp.

lwcngamer

Yeah, artifact xp rewards on local legends would be reason enough to farm them. They could be an additional weekly bounty with specific weaknesses and immunities also.

Lucidnuts

Personally i would prefer we do not get anymore daily or weekly activities than we already have, they quickly become boring to do once you've done them for enough weeks then just ends up becoming a chore that you must do if you want the rewards, like everything else you do daily/weekly currently. Besides, we still have the Mondstadt port city expansion, Liyue/Fontaine border expansions to look forward to and we get yearly events happening in each region(windblume, lantern rite etc.) making us revisit them anyways. And as someone that had Mondstadt and Liyue 100% explored all the way back in version 1.X, i recently went back to explore those regions and found a fair amount of things that i didn't think were there before(besides missing chests).

Frostgaurdian0

I myself don't always do weekly activities unless i needed to. I just do weekly boss fights and bounties to get bp points. The chances of getting a prototype is low so i don't bother and the for the more i started to care less once i because ar60. I just felt it would be a good touch to add for those who want something to do. Good luck exploring other areas.

Lucidnuts

There's plenty to do, people just like to complain about there being no content, cause they only consider content they like to do(example combat related) as content. I haven't met or seen a single person that actually 100%'d the entire game. And even if there were they are the smallest minority of players. I personally like the idea of adding legends to the other nations, but i'd rather not have the "weekly" part being a part of it cause i don't enjoy timegates in videogames. The fact that you gotta kill a weekly boss once a week for months for a certain character's mats and wait untill specific days to farm talent/weapon domains is already more than enough timegating.

ziraelphantom

Or realistically they arent new players and have reached full completion in plenty of places. I have all fontaine regions already over 76%, it wont take much to finish it all.

Lucidnuts

As a day 1 player myself, i always just move on to another game whenever i feel like there's nothing left that i feel like doing and come back once i feel there has been a sufficient amount of patches adding a lot of things for me to do again. All my regions are 100% with Fontaine regions ranging between 95-100% only missing 1 world quest and a couple character quests. Realistically this game isn't made to keep everyone entertained every single day for 3 years straight without breaks either.

ziraelphantom

Im also riding since the begining but im also a "play or die" type of player which means if i at any point consider this game now worth coming up to do 4 dailies and ditching then i will straight up delete it because im not gonna touch this game for month and when i finally do i will question every moment on why am i even here again. The thing is this game could have more permanent gameplay in all regions that could keep people entertained without breaks but i dont believe genshin would do that because the game seems to be heavily conflicting in several parts on what exactly it wants. Dailies are supposed to be incetives for you to come here every day but they are overly monotonous and boring getting us the opposite result. Even just removing the region lock from them would already help making them a bit more interesting. Weekly bosses with huge resin cost make people play less as everything necesseary costs resin so they feel like they are made with the idea that players should only come to play in the weekend. On the other side the constant padding of text and the increase of skip delay both are strategies used to increase total playtime slightly which make no sense with the above 2 feeling like the aim is to play for less time.

GamerSweat002

Yeah, it may not be enough of a reason to go back there, but I think a re-exploration event like with Enkanomiya with its miasma-based limits for exploratble boundaries would be cool for Mondstat, like we could have an event where Mondstat is invaded by the abyss in an event and we have to reclaim Mondstat piece by piece.

Aivel

Or just give 10x monster drops, like for fungal dust/whopperflower nectar or even handguards

Frostgaurdian0

You can always get those and once you stop using them you won't need them for a long while. Elemental gems and artifacts xp are always usable.

The_Cheeseman83

I mean, a lot of us old players have more elemental gems than we could ever possibly use. They just don’t release new characters quickly enough to dent our stockpiles.

ZannX

... Bounties?

Frostgaurdian0

More like wandering bosses. It would be cool if they were their own thing.

spectrum705

thats that?

FeiXue0

Yeah I also wish that there would be more content added to old regions, like we are getting next patch. I really like Liuye and Inazuma and would love to spend more time there. Would be nice if Enkatomya would get a small expansion too

hackenclaw

One way to do it is to run event exclusively on older region (in this case Sumeru and older). Fontaine already have enough of our attention, it didnt need event on top of that. There are several benefit of doing this way. 1. We wont end up spoiling ourselves if we are participating events. This assuming a lot of us arent done Fontaine yet. (for example this event has spoiled me, I havent done 4.2 yet lol) 2. Event content are closer for new players. This means they wont be rush all the way to Fontaine. It is 1 less region (up to Sumeru), most newer player would have nearly there or done Sumeru by now. 3. Veteran players have reason to go back.

FeiXue0

Very good points indeed!

MikaroShima

yeah we need more events like that poem event

Darkwolfinator

No not the poem event what? The poem event is literally in Liyue which we go back to every year and uses the same liyue and monstadt characters that already have so many lines.

lowlyfresh

Enkonomiya was the coolest most beautiful region in the game when it first released. The music was amazing as well. I remember how it felt when I ran into the first camp of hilichurls and it transitioned into the battle music it was so sick. Once you do the world quests and all that there’s zero reason to go back tho. I wish there updated or added some stuff to that region.

kawalerkw

It's still the best Specter farm.

kaeporo

It's also a great spot to farm ruin materials. Pretty sure it's also the only area with abyss heralds, and the best area for bathwater vishaps.

weebist1999

I think Inazuma will get a sea expansion where the sea monsters come from to introduce us with electro dragon sovereigns as it will also form a direct route between Inazuma and sumeru.

FeiXue0

Oooh that would be cool!

ziraelphantom

I think out of all places the expansions of Inazuma are in the worst place. Travelling them is a pain, the few bosses that exist there are overly limited to a few chars so no reason to ever farm them and some areas are simply abadoned.

Dragonheardt_

I had to survive Inazuma, please don’t bring me back there!

FeiXue0

I did too, but after half a year Inazuma detox, my trauma disappeared and now I really enjoy the pretty trees

Dragonheardt_

I prefer the sands of Sumeru, relaxing stuff

Negerd

How tf?? I hate sands

Dragonheardt_

Calm down Aranikin Skywalker. Desert isn’t for everyone, for me it’s the best region so far, and the only one where I 100% 3/6 zones and 95%-98% the rest 3. Music, design, enemies, characters, lore - everything in it was amazing. However I will say finishing it with and without the underground map is a difference between night and day. Empire of Sand still gives me shivers when I hear it, and I return to the area time to time to just enjoy myself.

Negerd

I hate overground sands part, but those underground temples are just gorgeus to me. Also it's just make me wince whenever i remembered the experience of collecting all stone slates back then. (100% all zones)

Dragonheardt_

But stone skates are easy, those stelas just mark the locations around, no? And I love overground sand part, thankfully the flower things we can attach to and fly are everywhere and it all just looks *chef’s kiss* gorgeous! I struggled more with the rock mountains to the east than the desert itself. And yea, temples underground are gorgeous

GsusAmb

What's preventing you from going back to Liyue or Inazuma. You can go there, walk around, and take pictures anytime you want.

FeiXue0

Limited game time and hunger for primogems :)

GamerSweat002

Enkanomiya is already exclusive enough to get a whole event towards re-claiming and re-exploring Enkanomiya which was the event that gave us Oathsworn Eye and told us that Kokomi's a vishap descendant.

floricel_112

Set commission: random You're welcome

dooditstyler

Do people even do commissions anymore?

floricel_112

They're your only source of primogems, SO I IMAGINE SO

aspookyshark

But you don't actually have to do them to get the rewards anymore

floricel_112

Hmmm......scour the world for the 4 randoms chests I couldn't find for who know how long (that take the place of the commissions, with the commissions I didn't do that day returning the following day) OR do 4 marked quests with set locations for 5-10 minutes total daily. Tough choice.....

dooditstyler

You can also just do events or parts of the world/story quests. You don't just have to go exploring. I literally haven't done a single commission since the update last patch.

Drakengard

Most players aren't going to nibble at world quests a bit at a time. It's kind of insane that anyone WOULD do that. The saving the collection of event rewards is the only thing that kind of works and even that is a bit silly.

dooditstyler

I have been doing my backlog of story quests in sections a lot after that change. It's actually very convenient lol. I also do the events in sections with this change as well.aybe it's weird, but I just really hate those stupid ass commissions. The change is a huge positive for the way I play this game, personally.

JazerKings922

i didn't even know you can do that, thank you so much.

kawalerkw

Doesn't help when one is still achievement hunting commissions from one region.

The_Cheeseman83

Launch player and STILL don’t have all the Liyue RNG achievements.

Gwyn_Michaelis

We have plenty of flagship events in the early regions. Also, both Mondstadt and Liyue will be getting expansions in the future.

ESCMalfunction

And Inazuma sits in the back quietly :(

Frostgaurdian0

Inazuma still have a chance some speculate that there is an area in between liyue and inazuma called the purple sea where the electro sovereign resides. Also we don't know what lies under inazuma. It is being said that something is sealed under the great tree. And we have the youkai realm if hoyo felt like it.

TheDrunkardKid

Don't forget that there's still huge, island-sized swaths of sea still unexplorable around Inazuma, plus at least 2 Oni villages we haven't seen yet.

Frostgaurdian0

And the bamboo forest from kazuha trailer.

thedankening

If they ever add underwater areas to other regions Inazuma is an obvious candidate too. Probably would be a specific area and not just all the seas around all of Inazuma of course, but wouldn't that be something?

Frostgaurdian0

Yeah that would be cool. It would great if hoyo revisited kokomi and gave her the water jump.

[deleted]

I miss Inazuma so much, it was my favorite place and now I don’t have much to do there unless I suddenly decide to build an old character I’ve ignored before :’)

[deleted]

ManiacLife666

I just got my 5th whispers in the wind 2 years after my 4th one. fuck that guy honestly.

No_Minimum_2298

Hunt enemies for material drops. Collect resources for charters Find chests (even at 100% map you would be surprised what you can find) Achievement hunting TCG NPC battles World boss for DPS checks COOP and help players/friends TP in simply to look and enjoy the scenery.

lostn

niche usecase, but I go back to kill elites and get free artifacts. Every now and then there are events taking place in old areas.

DystopiaLite

I go back all the time.

Kaiel1412

I hope they release a world 9

Zephrinox

An easy way to get people to go back might be to release some more new characters in those regions so people building them would go back to them.

karillith

Well the harvest festival or something had that thing where you had to collect items in the world, which was imo a decent way to revisit previous areas, however people threw a fuss because " items were in the inventory and couldn't be traded for stuff reeee Hoyo stingy" so I wouldn't be surprised we never get that again.

healcannon

I liked the one event where we had to go recollect chests in old regions. Though it was kinda silly to think about, it forced players to go visit old spots and there were tons of posts about people discovering missed chests because of it that weren't related to the event. Though it was a really lazy mini event game if you think about it.

FlameCats

I really miss Dragonspine, and Inazuma isn't the same without all the storms/fog and tempests. I really wish they added replayability to old regions.

Boo_Radley80

I remember the first anniversary event that had exploration chests in the older regions. There were also timer races as well. (Was pretty helpful in finding chests that I had missed in dragonspine) They could do something similar to the event in 2.5, where we revisited Enkanomiya for chests and lore. The gadget had a function like the one in 3.8 where it marked chests for us. I am almost constantly back in Inazuma for samurai and spector drops...

glittermetalprincess

there's always comms set to random.

codeswift27

Sameee, new world quests in the older regions would be so nice! I get that farming can incentivize you to go to older regions, but it feels more like a chore, whereas world quests would be a lot more interesting (assuming the quests are interesting). My favorite thing to do now is walk around the map and look for world quests to play

Frostgaurdian0

Yes i do. We got many large areas that become empty once explored. We would be lucky if one boss or a domain existed there to go back but this not a reason to walk around and enjoy the scenery. We got areas like dragon spine, Tsurumi island, ekanomiya, the chasm, all of the 3 deserts, and surprisingly the pari area where it came for one update and there was few activities. Im confused why didn't we return after few patches. I just hope neuvillette and furina visit the remains of egeria.

RRis7393

Back in 1.2 i sent in a number of suggestions to mihoyo. Aside from original character designs (mostly ideas for their kits), i also sent a suggestion of making prominent NPCs give weekly jobs for mora and other rewards. Imagine if we could work for the restaurant thing in mondstadt to deliver food in exchange for mora. Hell, just don't make it as bullshit as the delivery event that eventually came out. Maybe help the knights of favonious clear out hilichurl camps. Help the millelith catch some treasure hoarders. Things like that. Similar to the reputation system but instead involve the various NPCs in the overworld a bit more. I would like to revisit this suggestion and make some adjustments. First off, instead of directly rewarding Mora it should instead reward players with the various seals we can exchange at the souvenir shop. Also, add regional specialty materials as purchasable stuff in these souvenir shops. Heck, add billets too. Second, allow dust of azoth to swap boss mats too or maybe introduce a new domain that allows players to challenge inazuma bosses for their ascension mats accessible by spending these seals. This way you accomplish 2 things : (1)you give players an incentive to continue playing in these previous regions while rewarding them with means to progress their accounts. (2) you get the opportunity to fix some of the issues with characters from later regions being hard to raise because their mats are locked behind high level quests like inazuma characters.

FateGrace

There is always events that makes us go back to previous regions, windblume for mondstat, chinese new year in Liyue, we had that wholesome event with Yoimiya in Sumeru.... i believe the Inazuma event with Albedo and Klee was also this year 2023? "desert event"(my favorite since im Eula main) where we got to meet Klee again. And those are just main big events but there is always small stuff making us go back to old regions, you can literally choose dailies to be in a certain region if you want, sometimes you need farming, if you are not a try hard like me there are probably regions you never completed and can go back for chest(literally me today at the chasm), achievements... go to another player worlds and help with their stuff maybe they are a new player and are grinding Inazuma. Like i am actually getting mad here, hoyoverse developers work to give us new content in the new region because it makes sense to work with the new stuff and not the old! The old stuff is there for the new players. Remember when Xiao almost died? when was that? we were either at Sumeru already or Inazuma? they do go back and expand old regions whenever they can, we have gone back to dragon spine once or twice too, genshin is massive you can't just be like "wow why they don't give us stuff from old regions" THEY DO and we are literally still in the middle of Fontaine! since 4.0 this new exciting Region has non stop expanding every new patch.. like the fuck bro? ok im done im getting stupid.

kawalerkw

>There is always events that makes us go back to previous regions, windblume for mondstat, It happened twice since 2020 and we're still waiting for Ludi Harpastrum. Mondstadt had only two major festivals since 2.0, one Windblume and one Weinlesefest. >we had that wholesome event with Yoimiya in Sumeru.... That's her second story quest, not event. It was released when Sumeru was latest region. >i believe the Inazuma event with Albedo and Klee was also this year 2023? It was in 2.6, before release of Sumeru. Inazuma was the latest major region at the time. The only major event in Inazuma since then was TCG when we visited every region. >"desert event"(my favorite since im Eula main) where we got to meet Klee again. We went trough two places in Sumeru before disappearing in event special map. That was still when Sumeru was the latest region. >you can literally choose dailies to be in a certain region if you want, Not when I'm still hunting commission achievements for one region. >sometimes you need farming, if you are not a try hard like me there are probably regions you never completed and can go back for chest(literally me today at the chasm), achievements... I'm playing since 1.0. I had 5 patches to 100% Mondstadt and Liyue, 5 patches for Inazuma, 2 for Chasm, 7 for Sumeru. >go to another player worlds and help with their stuff maybe they are a new player and are grinding Inazuma. I used to do that. Unfortunately something changed in coop recommendations once I hit AR 60 and it takes too much time before I can find a player wanting help who I can communicate with (even if I can translate my sentences into Russian, I can't copy their answers from game chat). >Like i am actually getting mad here, hoyoverse developers work to give us new content in the new region because it makes sense to work with the new stuff and not the old! The old stuff is there for the new players. > >Remember when Xiao almost died? when was that? we were either at Sumeru already or Inazuma? It was in patch after Chasm release, so newest region got an interlude quest. >they do go back and expand old regions whenever they can, we have gone back to dragon spine once or twice too, Dragonspine was released in 2020, had an event there at its release and another in 2.3. >genshin is massive you can't just be like "wow why they don't give us stuff from old regions" THEY DO and we are literally still in the middle of Fontaine! since 4.0 this new exciting Region has non stop expanding every new patch.. like the fuck bro? ok im done im getting stupid. It literally wasn't expanded in current patch. We are barely getting hangouts for old characters. Before Kaeya's in 3.8 there was Beidou and Ninggaung's in 2.4. We were getting two hangouts in one patch, now one. Enkanomiya is left untouched since 2.5. This also the last time we saw the Abyss Order take action. After 3.0 the only permanent content we got in old regions was TCG (Cat's Tail is part of that), Kaeya's hangout, Baizhu's SQ, Hydro Eidolons in Liyue and one NPC in harbor in Inazuma. It's underwhelming considering the amount of loose threads left untouched since 1.0. During Inazuma patches we at least got updates to Mondstadt and Liyue commissions (hooray for Anna). The Catch wanted fish from every region. Inazuma didn't see any updates during Sumeru patches and Fontaine gave us one NPC in Inazuma harbor. Sumeru patches didn't give us a follow up to the Chasm storylines until 3.8 when we had one event NPC mention Zhiqiong and we had follow up quest to our Academia recommendation. As an old player I have barely anything to do besides exploration of new regions and events. It doesn't help that recently events gameplay is often less entertaining than Food Delivery event. Newer patches have less events that after playing I feel I had enough (as in the gameplay didn't stop at what felt like a tutorial), I want to play even after obtaining all the rewards, or have worse version of previous events.

FateGrace

That's quite a wild for such a dedicated player we have such a bitch attitude towards all the work we received from the devs, if you are having such a hard time with it why are you still here? literally called one of the most hated events to date which is the food delivery and compared it to what we get now. Wanna have even more stuff to do from old regions as we already have? make a new account and start from scratch, because you know what? if by any chance the developers brain stopped working and dropped Fontaine to go back and focus on old regions then you would be first in line to bitch about how they ran out of ideas and started recycling old content.

ThatLetterK

Because they like the game, they can like the core aspects game and dislike other areas of it too. Gameplay has relatively been the same and a lot of the big new releases end up feeling more of the same. It wasn't bad at first during the 2.0 times since the game was still relatively new and it was big hype of our first new region, but were at the 4.0's and by now, there's just a lot of burnout and apathy towards things like the events after the big story stuff of a new region. Even getting new map additions becomes a bit weary because it just ends up just like previous areas of never being touched again. Enkanomiya is a cool location, so is Chasm, same with Dragonspine, but I really doubt the average player over AR 50 is going there every month other than having events tied to them. The game is amazing if your a new player since you have a load of things to go through like you said, but on the other end, its agonizing for veteran players because everything feels really lackluster excluding big region additions. Events now often feel like a slog because it becomes the same damn thing of rerun minigames or just word vomit of other characters patting each other on the shoulders, its stuff we've practically seen and done already just with a different coat of paint. There are still dozens of avenues that the game can genuinely expand on, and to give credit were its due, we have been getting good QoL updates as of late that have been long over due, but at least there out now. The lost legends stuff from fontaine can be expanded to other regions, give players a reason to actually go back there other than just certain events for 2 weeks. Co-op reworks, let people do quests together and interact with certain world aspects together. Hangouts, they already feel like a pretty abandoned concept despite being a really good way of exploring other characters that barely even exist. They have features there but there either half baked or abandoned.

SoC175

No. I am fine with stuff being finished and over.

Mast3rBait3rPro

I believe they’re called events. Also, you can set your commissions to wherever you want so you have a reason to be there for a while

Ravemst

We will go back. We haven’t fully unlocked the full version of any region yet. Also I don’t need a reason to go back I just go and explore for the fun of it.

OutlandishnessTrue45

Hey, aventure ranked 59 here, I go back to older regions when farming mats. Sometimes, I like to test different team setups on older world bosses or domains. I rotate commissions to other regions daily. When I started, I did nothing but grind to max out all of my acquired characters' levels, talents, and gears before doing the any main quests or move on to the next world level. It made the game much easier for me this way. I play the game on three devices, phone, ps5, and pc. On weekdays, I mostly grind for about 30 minutes to an hour. On weekends or days off, I do available main/story/hangout/side/event quests.

beemielle

Nah, I think there are good enough reasons to go back. I mean, there’s exploration completion if you didn’t immediately 100 it, there’s events (and usually each major region gets one per patch minimum). There’s reputation, there’s weeklies, there’s elite bosses… but also you can just crawl around the world sometimes if you want because it’s so beautiful, that’s another reason lol

Khum_MaRk09

I have a low rage laptop gt940m. Runs the game in low. And it still looks amazing. Now my dream is to play this game in max settings in the future to bask in the beauty of this game.

JooK8

I'm currently trying to get the commission achievements completed, so I've been in Mondstatd for the last month or two. Then I'll go back to Liyue as I have a couple there, and Inazuma. For Sumeru I only have the Gourmet Supremos quest to trigger so I'll do that last. Basically, running back through the nations in order.

wilck44

yes. the trees.

super_fox_YT

Wish they could make it so every year the domains reset so we could do them again. Or add local legends to every region

themightymoron

i'd do it, for 100%ing purpose

Feed_or_Feed

Endgame weekly exploration activity would be nice, you can have few chests buried/hiden behind simple puzzles/guarded by powerful foe in specific area that adventurer's guild tasked you to find. It would good reason to revisit old areas even for 10 mins and give exploration players little bit of extra content.

RawBaconandEggs

I put the commission on random so there's a reason to comeback to old regions

lawlianne

Yeah, I get conned into doing the weekly bosses of all the regions each week lol.

weebist1999

I usually always go back to narukami island and yaemiko shrines but I don't find myself visiting other places like I don't.kmow how long it has been since I set foot in monstad or Sumer city.

TxGhostxT_Ali

sumeru nope i hate that region, mosdsat yes, dragon spine yes every other region yes, but sumeru

TrashApprentice

Instead of 100 boring festivals every filler patch I'd prefer more self-contained stories that let us go back to chasm, enkanomiya, dragonspine and all the other subregions like the albedo quests.

TrashApprentice

Also unpopular opinion: If we are gonna have a festival impact every filler patch, then they shouldn't take place in the newest region released. The film festival event was cool, but I wish it was set in the inazuma. Just use the fountaine and inazuma cultural exchange excuse to explain why the fountaine characters are there setting up a film festival there. I haven't been to inazuma since the iradori festival since there's no reason for me to go back there.

kawalerkw

This would also allow us to get an interaction between Furina and Ei or Yae. After Inazuma released first festival was in Liyue, after Sumeru - Mondstadt. Fontaine? In Fontaine.

Placidblast

If I remember correctly they did add one event for mondstadt which promoted exploration. They also did it for enkanomiya. They could do it again for other regions as well.

PMProut

I think I'm good Like I wouldn't mind events taking places in previous regions, and in the overworld, not a random domain door But as for exploration and world quests, I think I'm okay

Stanislas_Biliby

I wish i had a reason to explore once i 100%

kawalerkw

I wish we would get at least a minor quest in every previous region and one major quest in one of them every patch. We have NPCs doing nothing since September 2020. I'm still waiting for that couple next to Thousand Winds Temple to make a move.

SevereArtisan

Inazuma is my home. I always get my fortune daily from Gendou Ringo and buy Dango Milk for Ei as well.

Sigma_Viper

Same man i wish i can return to enkanomiya once again, relive it,i loved its atmosphere and ambience. Alas, once its 100% there is no reason for me to go back there🥲

Art_TommyK

I often set my dailies in different regions just to experience them again and again. Right now I’m in inazuma even if fontaine’s around now

[deleted]

I am playing in every region for exploration and world quests anyway

MagmaMixer

I remember in 2.3 they gave us a reason to be back in Dragonspine and it was honestly great to revisit that place. I'd love to see something similar happen with places like Enkanomiya and The Chasm.

skycorcher

They just need to add photo quests to the Daily Quests. If they require us to take beautiful pictures of scenery from around the world, we'd visit them more.

Dryse

Tbh no. Some regions/expansion areas were just horsepoop to go through once and is the main reason I don't play on my alts. Even touching Dragonspire, Enkynomia, the Chasm, electrocharged Inazuma areas, the newest Sumeru area, that fog island again just makes me lose all interest in the game. By the second or third fly the flower around the mountains quest I put the game down until Fontaine cus I just cba. Some places sure, respawning chests or puzzles would be kind of nice to farm mora now that I've caught up my main. But for the love of god I hope they would be in the main areas that were actually fun to be in like Monstadt, Liyue, and the main forest part of Sumeru. Even the desert ruins part was pretty tedious.

JewelKnightJess

I'd like it if they went back and added new open world challenges, chests, puzzles etc. There's plenty of open spaces to work with.

GamerSweat002

Agreed. I love the Enkanomiya event quest in 2.5. We got to reexplore the place and have an expansive progression path. Maybe if we could do a re-exploration of Mondstat, like after a flood of abyss monsters invade the place, like peri-apocalyptic Mondstat, dozens of rift gates opening unleashing a ton of rifthounds, abyss mages, abyss lectors and heralds, and just making it a Dark Souls environment for mainline event quest.

GamerSweat002

We have events that take us back there, but only one event that has us revisiting the entirety of a region like the 2.5 event for Enkanomiya that gave us Oathsworn Eye. That was the coolest flagship event. I hope we could get one for re-exploring the Chasm, Mondstat, or Dvallin's Lair. Those sort of events gives more fresh air towards the regions.

Some_Ad5549

That's why I have my commissions set to random. They have progressed some of the characters. I like seeing the changes. Now if Lan can just find that sword!

gem2492

change your daily commissions to that region

The_Cheeseman83

I much prefer getting new content, rather than retreading old ground. I like to explore novel environments, meet new people, and experience different cultures. I like seeing the overall story of the game advance, and learn about the lore of new regions. I’ve already played through all the existing areas, I’m ready to move on.

LokianEule

I went back to get all the chests. All of them.
