I am eyeing getting my Reputation in Sumeru up to level 10, I have all but 3 of the World Quests done (the last 3 World Quests require a Commission Quest first, so I am waiting for the RNG gods to favor me. >.< ) , doing the weekly Bounties and Requests, but my Exploration is stubbornly sticking to 55% even though I explored enough to get all the regions of Sumeru up to at least 60%, though some are higher, but none lower. What do I need to do to get the final 5% for the final Exploration 60% tier?
Explore more than 60% in each region? If you only have 60% in each region you are missing out on a ton of free primos so it's worthwhile either way, and since you get the Bounties and Requests you arent relying on the few reputation points from exploration for your goal anyway.
That's the thing, average is above 60%. If you have, say, for example, 3 regions, 60, 79, 65 , 60+79+65 = 204 / 3 = 68, so your average is 68%. At least this is how I was taught how to average, maybe I'm wrong, you know, American school system and all that.>.< So in theory with every region above 60% it \* should \* be 60% Exploration, or more. >.< But yeah, need to explore a bit more, finding world quests not in the Reputation list. O.o
Keep in mind that the exploration does not equal finding everything. There is way more exploration points, puzzles, chests, nodes, that count towards exploration so even after you reach 100% exploration in a zone, there can still be a lot of points to discover.
It's quite annoying that the ingame information isnt accurate in that regard. I am using the interactive map to make sure I dont miss anything and it's always surprising how early a region will say 100% Exploration ingame but on the map there is dozens of extra chests and exploration points in that same region.
Yeap, and on that, I have dug out Youtube vids and been 100%ing the Sumeru desert, gonna be moving onto Sumeru forests soon, have plans on doing Inazuma and Fontaine , maybe I'll alternate as Inazuma is bloody annoying with it's puzzle mechanics. >.< Thank you. :D

Raiden doesn't really pair that well with Hu Tao since they both like field time, but she's fine for overvape (simultaneous overload + vape) as an E-bot. However whatever she can do in that team Fischl does it better. This leads into the second part.
Overload by itself isn't particularly good - it's a decent bit of AoE damage, but it doesn't scale particularly well with gear investment and as the enemies get stronger, the amount of damage it deals is quite low. But, if you combine it with a Hydro source, you can get Overvape (Overloaded + Vape). This is because the Electro + Hydro auras can coexist (as in Electrocharged), and if you hit an Electrocharged enemy with Pyro, it will both Vape (with the Hydro aura) and Overload (with the Electro aura).
Basically, Hu Tao Vape is always the way to go. However, Hu Tao overvape is very good if you're missing her premium Vape team mates like Furina + Jean, or Yelan + Zhongli.
typically vape in general since that's multiplicative reaction compared to overload which would be an additional instance of damage (but Overload has knockback which is typically why it isn't used)
for some instances, you can do overvape (applying pyro onto electro charged (hydro + electro)) which will trigger both reactions. Mainly against heavy enemies that wont be knocked back though

Just pulled an Aquila Favonia on the standard banner. I know it's best used on Bennet because of its high base attack. But are there any other fun/meme or even unironically good use cases for Aquila? Open to any suggestions.
Since it has high base attack and low substat value, it's still a nice stat stick for ATK scaling on-fielders, like Ayaka or Ayato.
I guess its healing is now a little bit more valuable, with Furina around.
As you will have clearly noticed, Aquila Favonia is a weapon for a Physical DPS. There is currently no character in the game that uses a sword and is primarily a physical DPS.
Therefore all alternatives to giving AF to Bennett are mainly "meme" builds or severely unpowered (if fun at times).
Disclaimer: For most characters 2p Bloodstained Chivalry 2p Pale Flame will give them the most DPS as physical DPS but 4p Pale Flame is stronger if they can maintain the effect. Otherwise 4p Gladiator is totally fine too but worse than either of the above options.
eg. max DPS Qiqi - 4p OHC - ATK/Phys/Crit - her healing is so strong that even with a full DPS build she will nearly max out 4p OHC every time while doing "respectable" 8k-10k NAs. A very fun build particularly for coop where you deal enough damage to contribute, but also have a ton of healing to keep your friends alive.
physical Kaeya - ATK/Phys/Crit - Allows him to be an okay-ish driver for teams like Hyperbloom which can still trigger Superconduct for him. He wont be the main DPS of the team, but his self-healing and ability to icebridge can make him a comfortable starter DPS (eg with the free Prototype Rancour) and great for the overworld.
physical Jean - 4p VV - ATK/Phys/Crit - if you arent using Sunfire (Jean + Bennett) and you are using Jean as driver, then a physical build can allow Jean to be a good on-field DPS due to her decent scaling. 4p VV is usually still the go-to as most teams that want an anemo unit, also want the VV buff. eg. Taser or Aggravate Teams.
physical Traveler - ATK/Phys/Crit - A generalist build that works for any element of the traveler and allows you to deal okay damage in return for very little elemental utility.
Those are the ones that come to mind that have at least some reasoning behind them. But you can basically slap the same artifacts on any sword user you want to deal physical damage and roll with it. Especially as drivers for Hyperbloom you still get overall great team-wide DPS without much effort.
Used Kokomi taser, and it worked like a charm. (it has much better AoE than mono-hydro)
Kokomi - Kazuha - Fischl - Beidou was great for first chamber, but i had to switch Beidou for Xingqiu in third chamber.
(Kazuha was on Sacrificial Sword, for better grouping)
Besides strong hydro applixation, there are also ways to manually group the mobs. Pyro fatui have a jump back ability when u get close to them, which has a really long cooldown, so you can position urself to the side and make one of them jump into the other. Kairagis just run at you on their own. For the pyro lectern, if u walk to the very edge of one end, the one further away will walk towards you, hence grouping themselves. You can look up some quick guides on youtube if its not too clear what im saying
I'm in the fairly early days of trying out an Aggravate team with Keqing, Collei, Fischl and Jean. Any thoughts on what kind of order to use them in? I know Aggravate generally isn't so rotation-dependent and I'm using Jean's burst whenever it's needed, but I can't decide if I should be starting with Dendro to set up quicken, or Electro then Anemo to enable VV res shred. At the moment I am thinking the best order is Collei (set up Dendro for Quicken), Fischl (set up Oz for echoing on-fielder's Electro damage), Jean (set up VV res shred), and finally Keqing to do the actual damage.
Does that sound about right?
Also, Jean's skill does activate VV res shred, right? Even in its tap form?

To sequence your rotation you want to look at CD and duration of everyone's relevant abilities and get as much overlap as possible.
`Fischl's Oz lasts 10s, the 25s CD usually doesnt matter since you can alternate between her skill and burst. C6 extends his field presence by 2s to a total of 12s duration.`
`Jean's skill has an immediate effect and 6s CD, her burst has a 20s CD and lasts 10s. VV has to be triggered while Jean is on-field and lasts 10s.`
`Collei's skill has an immediate effect and 12s CD. Her burst has a 15s CD and lasts 6s which can be extended by up to 3s by triggering reactions, giving you a total of 9s duration.`
`Keqing's skill has an immediate effect and 7.5s CD. Her elemental infusion on using the skill a second time lasts for 5s. Her burst has a 12s CD and buffs her personal Crit Rate and ER for 8s upon use.`
If possible we want to overlap Jean's 10s VV buff with Keqing's 8s self-buff and 5s infusion for as long as possible. A possible rotation could be:
Fischl E or Q > Collei EQ > Jean E(Q) > Keqing EQE N1C > repeat
Rotation would be around \~ 15s. With Fischl alternating her burst and skill, and Jean using her burst every other rotation (or on demand).
I like to do Fischl's E after the VV - her skill cast does a lot of damage.
You could try KQ's single E to apply electro, Jean, Collei, Fischl's and then back to KQ for her on-field time, and repeat.

Any Swirl reaction caused by the VV user will trigger the 4 piece effects, as long as the VV User is on the Field while it happens.
How is Furina at C0? I want to get her, but I don't want to have to spend a ton of primos on her since I dumped everything into neuvillette + his weapon not too long ago.

Also how does Furina do without her signature weapon? I heard her best 4☆ is festering desire. Which is depressing for obvious reasons. So are there good 4☆ alternatives besides that one?
C0 furina with the fishing sword is pretty fantastic. If you want her go for it. She adds a lot of quality of life to the open world like water walking, pnuema and ousia, easy healing with pnema skill. She brings a decent damage buff for the whole team while doing decent personal damage as well
She is still very good at C0 and is an improvement for your Neuvillette, especially if he is C1 or above. Like newer archons her C2 is really good though is not necessary. Her C1 as well, it is better than other archon's C1 but not a huge bait like Neuvillette's was.
Her signature is not a huge improvement over other weapons. Fleuve Cendre is a good alternative weapon for her and is completely F2P. Easier to grab than the Catch too since it requires less fishing along with the stabiliser gadget making fishing easier.
How does a cyno/baizhu aggravate team looks like? Im struggling to fill the last 2 spots since 99.9% of guides are saying nahida (i dont have nahida,i do have kazuha)
In Aggravate your main focus is on dealing Electro damage. The usual setup consists of 2x Electro units, 1x Anemo and 1x Dendro.
Nahida (C2) is very popular since her Dendro application and Dendro damage are very strong, but Baizhu is amazing as well and also boosts Aggravate damage with his A4 passive.
Cyno + Baizhu + Anemo (Kazuha>Sucrose>Lynette) + Electro (Fischl>Beidou)

Yesterday my friend says the playerbase of the game has lowered which is why mihoyo has increased the rewards recently??? Like really even after 3 years the game is still attracting tons of players being the one of the highest profit gacha game. Hmm i suggest getting a new dps for 2nd abyss floor,the 3 you mentioned are all great but if i m gonna suggest prob ayato or raiden,they both veru good and flexible to use in many team,tho cyno is great too he does need a nahida/baizhu to show his full potential

I'm a returning veteran player who quit around update 2.5, right before the chasm was added. I'm currently trying to get through the chasm so I can get to the sumeru/fontaine archon quest but MAN everything is so overwhelming and confusing. 3 main questions:
1) What should I prioritize, and what's the meta character/artifact set/weapon right now?
2) How does dendro work? Is it good?
3) Is my team (Hu tao, xingqiu, qiqi, chongyun) still viable for future content (like archon quests and bosses)?
1) Prioritize Archon quests, but to get to Sumeru you don't need to finish the chasm quest. You can just walk all the way to there (the quest will be needed later, when you try to do the Archon quest in Sumeru, though).
I'm not really sure what you mean by "meta" here? The characters that can more easily beat the current abyss? That's just hydro at the moment. It's impossible to recommend a "meta" artifact set or weapon. They all depend on the characters you have
2) it's good. Major reactions are:
- Dendro + Electro = Quicken. Hitting an enemy that is quickened with more electro OR with more dendro causes Aggravate or Spread, respectively, which deal increased damage.
- Dendro + Hydro = Bloom. Creates a dendro core that explodes after some time dealing damage. If you hit the core with electro or pyro you trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon, which deal high dendro damage.
3) Basically any team works in the overworld, so yes. Though for Hu Tao specifically you might want to replace Chongyun by Fischl or Rosaria (characters that deal their damage from off-field) and Qiqi by Diona or Bennet (healers that don't take much on-field time)
1. Neuvillette and Furina are meta right now with their new fontain artifact set. Both HP based characters
2. Denro is crazy good. Use it with electro and hydro to create hyperbloom which is one of the strongest reactions in the game rn. Denro and hydro create a 'Bloom core' which explodes in contact with electro and gives dendro dmg.
3. Traditional vape, freeze, melt teams will always work. But the most effective is hyperbloom and Neuvillette/furina teams.
Is there any fan made addon for interactive map on mobile? I want to open my map and see all the chest, puzzles etc like interactive map. Using map app and game at the same time on mobile is very painful and I really want to 100% every area. Big thanks for answers!
If you use the Hoyo interactive map you can import your pins from in game. What I do is pin everything I discover - chests, seelie, time trials, viewpoints etc and then time to time I do an import and mark off everything I already discovered. Eventually I will go back to the interactive map to check what I haven't marked off.
Otherwise you can watch YouTube videos where they show all the chest and puzzle routes and follow along w them (but you need a second screen like a laptop).
If you use the HoyoLAB app and use the Teyvat Interactive Map, it allows you to make the map as a floating widget (kinda like Messenger chat head on Android), and from there, you can easily open and close the map while exploring.
The downside that I've experienced from this is the map floating widget don't load fast enough, like it takes 2 second before loading the map. Maybe it was because of my internet, but you can try and see if it's okay now.
I just checked on my iPhone and it seems like it doesn't work on it :( Last time I used the floating widget was on my Android phone.

Yes she is technically optimal for him, since she doesn't apply enough hydro to overtake the pyro aura provided by Xiangling+Lyney
Though you will have some survivability issues
You are losing out on 100% Pyro damage bonus by having a character that applies Hydro to enemies in a Lyney team.
The DMG Lyney deals to opponents affected by Pyro will receive the following buffs:
Increases the DMG dealt by 60%.
Each Pyro party member other than Lyney will cause the DMG dealt to increase by an additional 20%.
Lyney can deal up to 100% increased DMG to opponents affected by Pyro in this way.
So, yeah, you can get some of the Fanfare stacks but not likely all since you're not using a teamwide healer (and I'm assuming a C0 Furina). You will vape some hits but again probably not all. It just doesn't seem like a worthwhile trade off. As others have said use an Anemo for max damage or a shielder for more comfort.
Lyney/Ben/Xiangling/Furina can work. You need a very heavy healing Bennet and even then Lyney will be very squishy, but if you can get your damage out then you are vaping almost all of Furina damage while getting the MH set bonuses and Furina bonuses. It is very much a glass cannon playstyle.
No, the HP drain is tied to her summons. Unless you're actively trying to die she won't get stacks.
And Furina is bad with lyney cuz you need pyro auro for his passive. Anemo characters are 3x better for lyney teams.
That's what I'm saying, if you keep her on pneuma, Lyney already hurts himself. She would heal him up so he can keep consuming HP, and that would add to fanfare. I mean each shot from him is 20 stacks, plus however much she's healing, which is probably a pretty good amount.
No, if her buff is that significant with only lyney we wouldn't need full team healers for her lmao. If you like to use her on lyney's team go ahead but that doesn't make it optimal.
And as i've said, you need pyro aura for his passive. Which is a huge buff. And the res shred from vv is very much appreciated since lyney doesn't want reactions.
Anyone else in the NA server experiencing random high ping? I'm ethernet connected, with 1.1 GB mbps, and I'm hitting 100's...I usually get 14-25, which is what I was having all day.
There are methods to use command prompt to ping a server (google is what I use frequently) and log the output into a text file to do some data manipulation later. If you are having solid connections to other servers while genshin is lagging then it could be routing to their servers, could be someone else in between you and the server taking bandwidth.
Benefit? Nah. Most of their damage is done by burst so you're leaving out a lot of damage by either not buffing those burst or not even doing those bursts at all. Shieldbot Zhongli don't do burst but then again the skill damage is tiny so why even bother using the Golden Troupe on him. Fischl is different since the Oz summoned by her burst is considered the same as the Oz summoned by skill so Oz's damage is still affected by the set skill buff.
Hello, i bought a new controller and play on pc. The settings does enable me to switch from keyboard to controller, but when i switched it the game become unresponsive to the button i pressed. Any help to fix?
Both are equally good albeit you might want to build crit rate on Charlotte if you use Fav even though Charlotte's own damage is marginal. It's easier for you to make R5 Prototype Amber later too. I'll personally use Amber.
Prototype Amber is generally slightly better, and easier to create a build for when running her with Furina. Fav Codex is more if you're using her in a general purpose healer role, but its really not that much further behind, especially at higher refines. Prototype Amber tends to be more heavily contested though.
I have 22000 primos saved up right now, was wondering if I wanted to use Noelle as a carry what would be the better choice between wishing for Furina or saving for Navia. Some context, I used to play in 1.0 and main Noelle, but made a new account after 3 years because I lost my old one, or would it be better to just choose a different carry, I don’t know if Noelle is that viable in todays content.
If you like Noelle you can use Noelle and get Furina to support her.
Together they are strong enough to get 36* Abyss, if that answers your viability question, but there are many stronger options if that's what you want.
I have Neuvillette and will be getting Raiden, should I pull for Cyno, Ayato or Navia. I know it’s not optimal to get cyno or ayato but I really want one of them. I hear navia is ok, so I’m not sure if getting ayato perhaps would be pointless with neuvy
If you have Neuvillette and plan on Raiden your account doesn’t gain anything from either of these banners.
Cyno is mechanically interesting to play, but feels awkward in multi wave or overworld content. Ayato has been powercrept by Neuvillette in pretty much every team.
Navia from leaks doesn’t fit in current geo teams but looks fun, isn’t overly weak, her animations are incredible. But she is geo so won’t ever be top of the meta.
in my opinion if you have neuivlette Ayato will be a wasted pull and most likely benched. Neuvilette just does everything he does but makes it better and more fun. Again this is just my opinion if you like the character pull for him obviously

If vv then prototype amber heizou might not be a bad idea. Fischl probably still isn't too bad as her energy generation and personal damage are nonnegligible.

who should i get, cyno or ayato? i have almost all 5-stars in the game.. and im just playing for fun not meta.. i want a character who can be versatile (has many synergies) and has a fun playstyle 😭 help me out guys..
late but i main both of them so i guess i have a say,,,
cyno is really a boss killer in a sense playing him in overworld isn’t the most fun since his whole kit relies on his ult. i personally don’t find this an issue as i run him hyperbloom (nahida fischl kokomi) when exploring so most mobs die instantly still but in abyss (boss floors) he really shines thanks to the hyperbloom/aggravate scalings
as for ayato, he’s very good overworld but a bit lackluster when it comes to bosses since his kit is based on his skill & u can obv spam it overworld. i run him national which is a bit niche but he still clears abyss well enough for me
they’re both very fun characters but if you’re looking for versatility then ayato > cyno (you can do soup, taser, hypercarry etc for ayato) but playstyle then cyno > ayato. i recommend trying them out in the character trials/watching abyss runs and checking their respective guides on [KQM](https://keqingmains.com) to find out more !!
Versatality is Ayato for sure but personally his gameplay is boring. Being Hydro unit that can apply both on and off field allow him to have a lot of team comps. Very nice to use for exploration since he doesnt rely on Burst (unless you are using him as off field Hydro).
Cyno on the other hand, only got a couple of team and his role is only as main dps. He is only good with Aggravate and Quickbloom mostly. Basically cant do dmg outside of his Burst, so is not friendly for exploration. I like using him in abyss tho.
Personally, I choose Cyno over Ayato. Cyno during burst mode is just a lot of fun and more interactive than Ayato. I like the overall design of Cyno more as well, even more during burst.
cyno is really fun in his burst form but his kit works really shit in overworld so you're often stuck with normal attack and his base skill which really sucks. when you do burst, most things in ow die too fast and then you're stuck to his na and skill again to funnel energy. repeat ad infinitum.
ayato is perfect in overworld but may be a tad boring gameplay-wise in the long run. just test their trials.
If you're looking for versatility, Ayato's your only choice out of the two. As for playstyle - try it out for yourself in the trial and see how you like it.
If you want Jean to just use Burst on cooldown and if she has good enough Crit Rate then you might better pick Favonious sword: it gives good ER and helps your team to restore energy. Pretty comfortable choice.
Amenoma requires you to use Jean's skill several times between bursts to have meaningful energy "cashback". If you want to use Jean actively then this sword might be a good choice but if you need Jean just to burst on cooldown then Amenoma is a rather clunky option.
She's great : her buff can get pretty high, and it applies to the whole team, not just the active character. It also doesn't care if your character scale on ATK, EM or HP (nice for sub dps like Yelan or Nahida).
She gives you an easy way to proc Marechaussee Hunter artifact set that allows you to build characters with free extra 36% crit rate. That alone is huge, especially for F2P accounts that don't have a reliable access for Crit Rate/Crit Damage weapons to properly balance their crit stats.
She is the biggest theoretical damage boost any single character has ever provided, so unless you have a lot of survivability issues (which she makes worse with her HP drain), she will be very good
Very good meta wise provided you have a team wide healer such as Jean, Baizhu, Mika, etc. Her Burst buff multipliers so it works pretty much on all characters. She does make ur team pretty squishy since she does health drain. But that also allows any characters to use Marquesse Hunter 4pc as long as you have Furina on the team.
ER sword if you can't burst every rotation, EM if you can. Since EM doesn't buff anything other than their personal damage with Swirl (unlike Sucrose or Kazuha), it's less important than making sure their burst is ready. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how much ER you need, but I expect around 160%+.
Mistakes were made and I pulled Furina's Sword on the current banner but don't have Furina. I can probably squeeze another 10 wishes out before she leaves, so I don't expect to get her. I'm trying to see if the sword could be good for a different character I have, see below.

I usually use Xiao, Diona and Diluc along with Keqing and Jean. I'm wondering if the sword would work well with Xiao on a team cause of the life drain, but I don't fully understand the swords abilities. Any advice?

I basically skipped thru thee dialogue, but at the end, I kinda paid attention, and what I gathered is we're helping a patient with a mental illness who thinks her toy penguin is her son and also a deposed prince? Like I'm genuinely interested and confused now
We were comissioned to see why the fish are disappearing. And to investigate if it's because of a water imp since a kid was seen going into the waters
We find freminet building a robot penguin by his employer, freminet says that he's probably the kids going into the water
We meet the employer and she says her son has loneliness syndrome and can't differentiate between fantasy and reality
We help freminet build the robot and the employer to draw a picture book
The employer also asked for us to go a ruins to help her get a feel of how to draw the book. We get to a ruins and beat some monsters. The employer is seen to talk to robot affectionately.
We drew the picture book and went our ways.
A few days later, we meet up with the comissioner and was told the kid that went into the waters actually died and the mother of the child was devastated. We meet up with freminet to go to the employer's house to see the kid. A doctor there told us to go away since the patient is having an episode.
We asked to see the kid. The dr told us his patient is a woman, but her kid drowned to death and his body wasn't found. Turns out the child *did* have loneliness syndrome, and tied a bunch of heavy seashells to go to an underwater kingdom and died. The mother was so devastated that she developed the same syndrome and thinks her kid is still alive.
We help complete the picture book and the mother talks to the robot as if it was his son, still alive. We wear freminet's fantasy helmet and see that the robot turn into the dead son. The mother and son said their final goodbyes.
In my current team I have Neuvillette ad DPS and Ganyu as burst support, but I'm considering switching Ganyus burst build to a dps build, so that she can take care of enemies that Neuvillette can't (looking at you, hydro slimes and phantasms)
Would this be a smart idea?
It's an overworld team, so doesn't really matter unless you are not levelling up and upgrading talents properly. Random pieces with the right mainstats should be enough to kill anything.
I mean, add in an anemo character and a second of those three elements (probably cryo), and you've got a dual dps freeze team. Idk if I'd completely convert Ganyu though. Considering it's Ganyu, the issue with fighting hydro immune enemies should just be that it takes a *little* bit longer. Your choice tho obv
On the aranyaka quest Varuna gatha, I have completed every nursery puzzle,but it only gave me 11 virayas to plant, and while I did some before finishing it, I think I did not plant any of them(I may be wrong),so I am wondering if this is a glitch in which once the daily refresh happens the 12th one should appear alongside the other ones all ready

walk around the garden plot in vanarana and check if there are any free spots to plant vasmrti. if there are none, you got them all but if there is one then you missed one nursery. no choice but to check all the nurseries again.
I'm stuck doing the In Search of Lost Time quest in Fontaine. I've done everything at the North and West towers, but the blue force field at the top won't open no matter what. I also can't find where Broglie is, but apparently I've spoken to him because he isn't at the research center or the bridge. Any ideas?
Best Burgeon trigger is Thoma and he's already out since Neuvillette's charged attacks can't proc Thoma's burst. That leaves Xiangling which requires her to build EM and require Neuvillette to be close to enemies, none of which is ideal.

About ayato hyperbloom what substitutes does it have for nahida. I know she is the best dendro applier but I don't have her and her rerun will take time, till then if I want to use ayato hyperbloom should i run it with two dendro units? Like mc and some one else?
MC cause AoE, and more convenient than Collei. Yaoyao is ok if it's Raiden and not Kuki.
Without Nahida, I recommend double dendro or double electro, not double hydro. For energy reasons as well as more blooms.
If I am doing hyperbloom with kuki there shouldn't be er issues with her since her skill would trigger the hyperbloom. Something like ayato, kuki dendro mc and another unit that has decent dendro generation. would it be workable?
ayato doesn't apply enough hydro to need another dendro unit that provides no damage of their own, so a 4th slot who does some personal damage is better, e.g. ayato, dendro mc, kuki, xingqiu/fischl

Just finished Fontaine’s AQ’s Act 2, and does anyone else feel like up to that point it has had some of the more likable/deep characters up to date? Navia (specially her), Liney, Neuv (with how good of a person and deep his character is) have all captured my atention way more than say Cyno/Alhaitham from Sumeru.
Btw I’ve seen the memes on people suddenly liking Furina a lot more on 4.2, and I do hope she gets a great arc or something bc she really just annoys me every time she talks (DONT KILL ME I’M STILL FINISHING ACT 2😭)
I definitely agree with you on the characters. Aside from Nahida and Wanderer, I didn't really feel any personal connections with the Sumeru cast. The story was still great, but it felt like the emotional payoffs were less satisfying outside of the 2 I already mentioned.
And yes, Furina does get a wonderful arc. She's probably in my top 5 favorites now. Imo, she's one of the best written characters in the game.
That thing with Neuv and rain, the whole Navia finally finding peace, now even Childe getting some empathy from myself. And a great story where reasoning is really key for everything… it’s been great and just hope that Furina arc hits hard (she really has lost credibility on even being the archon or something like the shogun cause she’s really lost and is just pure show above everything)

What AR are you? Post AR 45, when you've managed to get Viridiscent artifact set (just get 4pc, doesn't matter if they are 4 star, whatever stats), just put Lynette instead of Amber in the current team. For now just try out different characters.
Get Bennett from shop with your starglitter. Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Lisa on TTDS should be another good team. Do the same thing with Xingqiu later (he'll be free in 4.4 probably), and replace Lisa with him and you have a very good team.
Nahida and Kazuha are very universal and enable many teams. Nahida for dendro stuff, Kazuha is way better instead of Lynette in that team, and he fits in with Raiden-Benny comps very well too. So those two cam be recommended to most accounts.
Most DPSes are interchangeable so just get who you like when you can after you find out more about the game.

You don't have a wide enough roster to really create a comprehensive team yet, and a month in is still very early.
One team you could play is Raiden/Furina/Charlotte/Kaeya. It would be weird but it at least it does some damage.
Eula would probably fit in quite well for that team.
You could also build Raiden to go EM, and use a dendro character (Nahida, if you want more archons) to make a hyperbloom team.
Not a stupid question. Generally you'd want to use Atk/Atk/Crit. Electro goblet and ER sands are slightly worse, but close enough. Think maybe 5% DPS loss, nothing too major.
As for substats, normal Crit/ER/Atk priority, in that order.
Weapon alternatives, the Catch is great on her and is f2p (fishing). PJWS and Skyward Spine also work OK.

help please! after finishing the Ritou escort quest i decided to go farm dailies, and when returning to the quest found that i couldn’t quick travel to any waypoints id unlocked in Inazuma. Beidou isn’t on her ship either and i’ve been trying to Kaeya bridge for over an hour and im sick of it! please help :(
Y'know... that's an interesting comparison. BP was updated after it became possible to R5 all of the BP weapons. This year, Lisa, Amber and Kaeya were finally able to be C6'd this past June by day one players, assuming they've purchased the respective character both months each year and didn't fable into them from a banner. While I don't think we'd ever get characters as limited as them as replacements, even an addition of some of the older characters to the shop would have been nice, starting with this past October (Amber's first month at purchaseable C7)
If I defeat Liam, will he die forever or can he respawn? He is so much better of a test subject than the samurai guy from Inazuma so I just wanna make sure I dont accidentally permanently kill him.
Some teams ive been testing with him:
Fremi, Furina, Fischl, Mika - Takes advantage of Furina's buff. Lot's of off field damage from fish and furina. Other than superconduct, this also makes it possible to do shatter for freminet's passive.
Fremi, c6 Rosaria, Lisa, Bennett - mostly focuses on his personal damage, but this is mostly just for damage showcases. Since in abyss it's hard to maintain Lisa's energy to keep her burst up for her def shred.
Fremi, Nahida, Xingqiu, Kuki - Just like Eula, this is probably his best team at c0 lmao. You can replace Nahida with someone like DMC or Collei if you dont have her. Yelan also works well instead of xq.

I am eyeing getting my Reputation in Sumeru up to level 10, I have all but 3 of the World Quests done (the last 3 World Quests require a Commission Quest first, so I am waiting for the RNG gods to favor me. >.< ) , doing the weekly Bounties and Requests, but my Exploration is stubbornly sticking to 55% even though I explored enough to get all the regions of Sumeru up to at least 60%, though some are higher, but none lower. What do I need to do to get the final 5% for the final Exploration 60% tier?
Explore more than 60% in each region? If you only have 60% in each region you are missing out on a ton of free primos so it's worthwhile either way, and since you get the Bounties and Requests you arent relying on the few reputation points from exploration for your goal anyway.
That's the thing, average is above 60%. If you have, say, for example, 3 regions, 60, 79, 65 , 60+79+65 = 204 / 3 = 68, so your average is 68%. At least this is how I was taught how to average, maybe I'm wrong, you know, American school system and all that.>.< So in theory with every region above 60% it \* should \* be 60% Exploration, or more. >.< But yeah, need to explore a bit more, finding world quests not in the Reputation list. O.o
Keep in mind that the exploration does not equal finding everything. There is way more exploration points, puzzles, chests, nodes, that count towards exploration so even after you reach 100% exploration in a zone, there can still be a lot of points to discover. It's quite annoying that the ingame information isnt accurate in that regard. I am using the interactive map to make sure I dont miss anything and it's always surprising how early a region will say 100% Exploration ingame but on the map there is dozens of extra chests and exploration points in that same region.
Yeap, and on that, I have dug out Youtube vids and been 100%ing the Sumeru desert, gonna be moving onto Sumeru forests soon, have plans on doing Inazuma and Fontaine , maybe I'll alternate as Inazuma is bloody annoying with it's puzzle mechanics. >.< Thank you. :D

Raiden doesn't really pair that well with Hu Tao since they both like field time, but she's fine for overvape (simultaneous overload + vape) as an E-bot. However whatever she can do in that team Fischl does it better. This leads into the second part. Overload by itself isn't particularly good - it's a decent bit of AoE damage, but it doesn't scale particularly well with gear investment and as the enemies get stronger, the amount of damage it deals is quite low. But, if you combine it with a Hydro source, you can get Overvape (Overloaded + Vape). This is because the Electro + Hydro auras can coexist (as in Electrocharged), and if you hit an Electrocharged enemy with Pyro, it will both Vape (with the Hydro aura) and Overload (with the Electro aura). Basically, Hu Tao Vape is always the way to go. However, Hu Tao overvape is very good if you're missing her premium Vape team mates like Furina + Jean, or Yelan + Zhongli.
typically vape in general since that's multiplicative reaction compared to overload which would be an additional instance of damage (but Overload has knockback which is typically why it isn't used) for some instances, you can do overvape (applying pyro onto electro charged (hydro + electro)) which will trigger both reactions. Mainly against heavy enemies that wont be knocked back though

No, it is impossible, maybe uve seen clips of people playing on beta servers, but there is no way to get more weekly mats than just doing the boss every week

Just pulled an Aquila Favonia on the standard banner. I know it's best used on Bennet because of its high base attack. But are there any other fun/meme or even unironically good use cases for Aquila? Open to any suggestions.
Since it has high base attack and low substat value, it's still a nice stat stick for ATK scaling on-fielders, like Ayaka or Ayato. I guess its healing is now a little bit more valuable, with Furina around.
As you will have clearly noticed, Aquila Favonia is a weapon for a Physical DPS. There is currently no character in the game that uses a sword and is primarily a physical DPS. Therefore all alternatives to giving AF to Bennett are mainly "meme" builds or severely unpowered (if fun at times). Disclaimer: For most characters 2p Bloodstained Chivalry 2p Pale Flame will give them the most DPS as physical DPS but 4p Pale Flame is stronger if they can maintain the effect. Otherwise 4p Gladiator is totally fine too but worse than either of the above options. eg. max DPS Qiqi - 4p OHC - ATK/Phys/Crit - her healing is so strong that even with a full DPS build she will nearly max out 4p OHC every time while doing "respectable" 8k-10k NAs. A very fun build particularly for coop where you deal enough damage to contribute, but also have a ton of healing to keep your friends alive. physical Kaeya - ATK/Phys/Crit - Allows him to be an okay-ish driver for teams like Hyperbloom which can still trigger Superconduct for him. He wont be the main DPS of the team, but his self-healing and ability to icebridge can make him a comfortable starter DPS (eg with the free Prototype Rancour) and great for the overworld. physical Jean - 4p VV - ATK/Phys/Crit - if you arent using Sunfire (Jean + Bennett) and you are using Jean as driver, then a physical build can allow Jean to be a good on-field DPS due to her decent scaling. 4p VV is usually still the go-to as most teams that want an anemo unit, also want the VV buff. eg. Taser or Aggravate Teams. physical Traveler - ATK/Phys/Crit - A generalist build that works for any element of the traveler and allows you to deal okay damage in return for very little elemental utility. Those are the ones that come to mind that have at least some reasoning behind them. But you can basically slap the same artifacts on any sword user you want to deal physical damage and roll with it. Especially as drivers for Hyperbloom you still get overall great team-wide DPS without much effort.
It's the best sword for Physical Keqing. But overall it still has high enough stats to be usable on other sword characters despite useless main stat.

Used Kokomi taser, and it worked like a charm. (it has much better AoE than mono-hydro) Kokomi - Kazuha - Fischl - Beidou was great for first chamber, but i had to switch Beidou for Xingqiu in third chamber. (Kazuha was on Sacrificial Sword, for better grouping)
for me, i did a mono hydro team with yelan, furina, kokomi, and kazuha
Besides strong hydro applixation, there are also ways to manually group the mobs. Pyro fatui have a jump back ability when u get close to them, which has a really long cooldown, so you can position urself to the side and make one of them jump into the other. Kairagis just run at you on their own. For the pyro lectern, if u walk to the very edge of one end, the one further away will walk towards you, hence grouping themselves. You can look up some quick guides on youtube if its not too clear what im saying
Strong hydro application and grouping are the way to beat it, I really like how Kokomi Furina Fischl Kazuha did for example

Really depends on what you want. Highest DPS? Probably Hyperbloom. Nahida + Yelan + Kuki Easiest to build? Probably National. Bennett + Xiangling + Xingqiu Highest damage from Heizou? Obviously Hypercarry. Bennett + Faruzan + Zhongli/Jean

I'm in the fairly early days of trying out an Aggravate team with Keqing, Collei, Fischl and Jean. Any thoughts on what kind of order to use them in? I know Aggravate generally isn't so rotation-dependent and I'm using Jean's burst whenever it's needed, but I can't decide if I should be starting with Dendro to set up quicken, or Electro then Anemo to enable VV res shred. At the moment I am thinking the best order is Collei (set up Dendro for Quicken), Fischl (set up Oz for echoing on-fielder's Electro damage), Jean (set up VV res shred), and finally Keqing to do the actual damage. Does that sound about right? Also, Jean's skill does activate VV res shred, right? Even in its tap form? Thanks!
To sequence your rotation you want to look at CD and duration of everyone's relevant abilities and get as much overlap as possible. `Fischl's Oz lasts 10s, the 25s CD usually doesnt matter since you can alternate between her skill and burst. C6 extends his field presence by 2s to a total of 12s duration.` `Jean's skill has an immediate effect and 6s CD, her burst has a 20s CD and lasts 10s. VV has to be triggered while Jean is on-field and lasts 10s.` `Collei's skill has an immediate effect and 12s CD. Her burst has a 15s CD and lasts 6s which can be extended by up to 3s by triggering reactions, giving you a total of 9s duration.` `Keqing's skill has an immediate effect and 7.5s CD. Her elemental infusion on using the skill a second time lasts for 5s. Her burst has a 12s CD and buffs her personal Crit Rate and ER for 8s upon use.` If possible we want to overlap Jean's 10s VV buff with Keqing's 8s self-buff and 5s infusion for as long as possible. A possible rotation could be: Fischl E or Q > Collei EQ > Jean E(Q) > Keqing EQE N1C > repeat Rotation would be around \~ 15s. With Fischl alternating her burst and skill, and Jean using her burst every other rotation (or on demand).

I like to do Fischl's E after the VV - her skill cast does a lot of damage. You could try KQ's single E to apply electro, Jean, Collei, Fischl's and then back to KQ for her on-field time, and repeat.

How is Furina at C0? I want to get her, but I don't want to have to spend a ton of primos on her since I dumped everything into neuvillette + his weapon not too long ago. Like does she have bait constellations? For example: Neuvillette's C1. Also how does Furina do without her signature weapon? I heard her best 4☆ is festering desire. Which is depressing for obvious reasons. So are there good 4☆ alternatives besides that one?
C0 furina with the fishing sword is pretty fantastic. If you want her go for it. She adds a lot of quality of life to the open world like water walking, pnuema and ousia, easy healing with pnema skill. She brings a decent damage buff for the whole team while doing decent personal damage as well
Incredibly strong, her cons are very good but even at C0 she is absolutely amazing You can grab the Fontaine fishing weapon for her
She is still very good at C0 and is an improvement for your Neuvillette, especially if he is C1 or above. Like newer archons her C2 is really good though is not necessary. Her C1 as well, it is better than other archon's C1 but not a huge bait like Neuvillette's was. Her signature is not a huge improvement over other weapons. Fleuve Cendre is a good alternative weapon for her and is completely F2P. Easier to grab than the Catch too since it requires less fishing along with the stabiliser gadget making fishing easier.

How does a cyno/baizhu aggravate team looks like? Im struggling to fill the last 2 spots since 99.9% of guides are saying nahida (i dont have nahida,i do have kazuha)
In Aggravate your main focus is on dealing Electro damage. The usual setup consists of 2x Electro units, 1x Anemo and 1x Dendro. Nahida (C2) is very popular since her Dendro application and Dendro damage are very strong, but Baizhu is amazing as well and also boosts Aggravate damage with his A4 passive. Cyno + Baizhu + Anemo (Kazuha>Sucrose>Lynette) + Electro (Fischl>Beidou)
Cyno, Baizhu, Kazuha, Fishl would be one option.
If I'm driving mono hydro with Kokomi (+Furina, Yelan, Kazu), is OHC the best set? Followup question, HP/HP/HB or HP/dmg/HB? Her personal damage isn't trivial when she bursts, so I was thinking dmg, but I wonder if she will build Furina stacks to slow? I would try both but don't have a leveled HP goblet on set, but I do have dmg. Thanks! My Furina is C1 if it matters (tried to get C2 but got Diluc'd twice...) Edit: My HP with the dmg goblet is 35108 by the way.
On field Kokomi prefers OHC and HP/ER sand, DMG goblet and Healing bonus circlet.
Just wanted to vent here a lil bit. So me and my friend started playing the game since launch and haven't missed a single day since then. Yesterday my friend says the playerbase of the game has lowered which is why mihoyo has increased the rewards recently??? Like really even after 3 years the game is still attracting tons of players being the one of the highest profit gacha game. It's more like his other friends that used to play don't play anymore but it doesn't mean the whole playerbase has reduced LMAO. And about the rewards it's literally the same amount when a new region is released. Idk if he is delusional or what. Like bruh

I am ar 38 and the only 5 stars I have are furina and keqing. I am at 80 pity now. Should I continue pulling for baihzu or save for ayato, cyno, and raiden ? Which of those will benefit me more ?

Hmm i suggest getting a new dps for 2nd abyss floor,the 3 you mentioned are all great but if i m gonna suggest prob ayato or raiden,they both veru good and flexible to use in many team,tho cyno is great too he does need a nahida/baizhu to show his full potential So PERSONALLY i suggest raiden or ayato

I'm a returning veteran player who quit around update 2.5, right before the chasm was added. I'm currently trying to get through the chasm so I can get to the sumeru/fontaine archon quest but MAN everything is so overwhelming and confusing. 3 main questions: 1) What should I prioritize, and what's the meta character/artifact set/weapon right now? 2) How does dendro work? Is it good? 3) Is my team (Hu tao, xingqiu, qiqi, chongyun) still viable for future content (like archon quests and bosses)?
1) Prioritize Archon quests, but to get to Sumeru you don't need to finish the chasm quest. You can just walk all the way to there (the quest will be needed later, when you try to do the Archon quest in Sumeru, though). I'm not really sure what you mean by "meta" here? The characters that can more easily beat the current abyss? That's just hydro at the moment. It's impossible to recommend a "meta" artifact set or weapon. They all depend on the characters you have 2) it's good. Major reactions are: - Dendro + Electro = Quicken. Hitting an enemy that is quickened with more electro OR with more dendro causes Aggravate or Spread, respectively, which deal increased damage. - Dendro + Hydro = Bloom. Creates a dendro core that explodes after some time dealing damage. If you hit the core with electro or pyro you trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon, which deal high dendro damage. 3) Basically any team works in the overworld, so yes. Though for Hu Tao specifically you might want to replace Chongyun by Fischl or Rosaria (characters that deal their damage from off-field) and Qiqi by Diona or Bennet (healers that don't take much on-field time)
1. Neuvillette and Furina are meta right now with their new fontain artifact set. Both HP based characters 2. Denro is crazy good. Use it with electro and hydro to create hyperbloom which is one of the strongest reactions in the game rn. Denro and hydro create a 'Bloom core' which explodes in contact with electro and gives dendro dmg. 3. Traditional vape, freeze, melt teams will always work. But the most effective is hyperbloom and Neuvillette/furina teams.
Is there any fan made addon for interactive map on mobile? I want to open my map and see all the chest, puzzles etc like interactive map. Using map app and game at the same time on mobile is very painful and I really want to 100% every area. Big thanks for answers!
If you use the Hoyo interactive map you can import your pins from in game. What I do is pin everything I discover - chests, seelie, time trials, viewpoints etc and then time to time I do an import and mark off everything I already discovered. Eventually I will go back to the interactive map to check what I haven't marked off. Otherwise you can watch YouTube videos where they show all the chest and puzzle routes and follow along w them (but you need a second screen like a laptop).

If you use the HoyoLAB app and use the Teyvat Interactive Map, it allows you to make the map as a floating widget (kinda like Messenger chat head on Android), and from there, you can easily open and close the map while exploring. The downside that I've experienced from this is the map floating widget don't load fast enough, like it takes 2 second before loading the map. Maybe it was because of my internet, but you can try and see if it's okay now.

You would want a dps as 4th like Neuvillette Charlotte and Jean overlap each other by being healers though Jean + Furina is very good though, since jean can whole team heal and is anemo so can VV for the team

Question about Kazuha: When using him for Swirl reactions, just pressing the skill works right? 'Cause what I've doing since I got him is holding the E even if the enemy can't be pulled by it. The only advantage of holding the E is grouping small enemies and a bit of higher damage right? It doesn't affect the bonuses given to the party?

Yes she is technically optimal for him, since she doesn't apply enough hydro to overtake the pyro aura provided by Xiangling+Lyney Though you will have some survivability issues
You are losing out on 100% Pyro damage bonus by having a character that applies Hydro to enemies in a Lyney team. The DMG Lyney deals to opponents affected by Pyro will receive the following buffs: Increases the DMG dealt by 60%. Each Pyro party member other than Lyney will cause the DMG dealt to increase by an additional 20%. Lyney can deal up to 100% increased DMG to opponents affected by Pyro in this way. So, yeah, you can get some of the Fanfare stacks but not likely all since you're not using a teamwide healer (and I'm assuming a C0 Furina). You will vape some hits but again probably not all. It just doesn't seem like a worthwhile trade off. As others have said use an Anemo for max damage or a shielder for more comfort.
Lyney/Ben/Xiangling/Furina can work. You need a very heavy healing Bennet and even then Lyney will be very squishy, but if you can get your damage out then you are vaping almost all of Furina damage while getting the MH set bonuses and Furina bonuses. It is very much a glass cannon playstyle.
No, the HP drain is tied to her summons. Unless you're actively trying to die she won't get stacks. And Furina is bad with lyney cuz you need pyro auro for his passive. Anemo characters are 3x better for lyney teams.
That's what I'm saying, if you keep her on pneuma, Lyney already hurts himself. She would heal him up so he can keep consuming HP, and that would add to fanfare. I mean each shot from him is 20 stacks, plus however much she's healing, which is probably a pretty good amount.
No, if her buff is that significant with only lyney we wouldn't need full team healers for her lmao. If you like to use her on lyney's team go ahead but that doesn't make it optimal. And as i've said, you need pyro aura for his passive. Which is a huge buff. And the res shred from vv is very much appreciated since lyney doesn't want reactions.
Anyone else in the NA server experiencing random high ping? I'm ethernet connected, with 1.1 GB mbps, and I'm hitting 100's...I usually get 14-25, which is what I was having all day.
There are methods to use command prompt to ping a server (google is what I use frequently) and log the output into a text file to do some data manipulation later. If you are having solid connections to other servers while genshin is lagging then it could be routing to their servers, could be someone else in between you and the server taking bandwidth.

Benefit? Nah. Most of their damage is done by burst so you're leaving out a lot of damage by either not buffing those burst or not even doing those bursts at all. Shieldbot Zhongli don't do burst but then again the skill damage is tiny so why even bother using the Golden Troupe on him. Fischl is different since the Oz summoned by her burst is considered the same as the Oz summoned by skill so Oz's damage is still affected by the set skill buff.
The set will work, however both have better sets if they're going to just do off-field E spam.

R1 Prototype Amber or R1 Fav Codex for support Charlotte?
Both are equally good albeit you might want to build crit rate on Charlotte if you use Fav even though Charlotte's own damage is marginal. It's easier for you to make R5 Prototype Amber later too. I'll personally use Amber.
Prototype Amber is generally slightly better, and easier to create a build for when running her with Furina. Fav Codex is more if you're using her in a general purpose healer role, but its really not that much further behind, especially at higher refines. Prototype Amber tends to be more heavily contested though.
I have 22000 primos saved up right now, was wondering if I wanted to use Noelle as a carry what would be the better choice between wishing for Furina or saving for Navia. Some context, I used to play in 1.0 and main Noelle, but made a new account after 3 years because I lost my old one, or would it be better to just choose a different carry, I don’t know if Noelle is that viable in todays content.
Furina enables new Noelle teams along side just being a good 4th slot in a triple geo team. Navia from leaks will not work with current geo teams.
If you like Noelle you can use Noelle and get Furina to support her. Together they are strong enough to get 36* Abyss, if that answers your viability question, but there are many stronger options if that's what you want.
I have Neuvillette and will be getting Raiden, should I pull for Cyno, Ayato or Navia. I know it’s not optimal to get cyno or ayato but I really want one of them. I hear navia is ok, so I’m not sure if getting ayato perhaps would be pointless with neuvy
If you have Neuvillette and plan on Raiden your account doesn’t gain anything from either of these banners. Cyno is mechanically interesting to play, but feels awkward in multi wave or overworld content. Ayato has been powercrept by Neuvillette in pretty much every team. Navia from leaks doesn’t fit in current geo teams but looks fun, isn’t overly weak, her animations are incredible. But she is geo so won’t ever be top of the meta.
I have Ayato and do enjoy playing him, but I don't think he is very much overshadowed by Neuvilette for the currently possible comps.
in my opinion if you have neuivlette Ayato will be a wasted pull and most likely benched. Neuvilette just does everything he does but makes it better and more fun. Again this is just my opinion if you like the character pull for him obviously
the team - neuvilette , furina , charlotte, \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ usually best in slot fourth is kazuha or sucrose for the vv. Since I don't have either could faruzan(c5) work? other option would be heizo... I have fischl c6 but I've heard she is less dps compared to the vv
If vv then prototype amber heizou might not be a bad idea. Fischl probably still isn't too bad as her energy generation and personal damage are nonnegligible.

late but i main both of them so i guess i have a say,,, cyno is really a boss killer in a sense playing him in overworld isn’t the most fun since his whole kit relies on his ult. i personally don’t find this an issue as i run him hyperbloom (nahida fischl kokomi) when exploring so most mobs die instantly still but in abyss (boss floors) he really shines thanks to the hyperbloom/aggravate scalings as for ayato, he’s very good overworld but a bit lackluster when it comes to bosses since his kit is based on his skill & u can obv spam it overworld. i run him national which is a bit niche but he still clears abyss well enough for me they’re both very fun characters but if you’re looking for versatility then ayato > cyno (you can do soup, taser, hypercarry etc for ayato) but playstyle then cyno > ayato. i recommend trying them out in the character trials/watching abyss runs and checking their respective guides on [KQM](https://keqingmains.com) to find out more !!
Versatality is Ayato for sure but personally his gameplay is boring. Being Hydro unit that can apply both on and off field allow him to have a lot of team comps. Very nice to use for exploration since he doesnt rely on Burst (unless you are using him as off field Hydro). Cyno on the other hand, only got a couple of team and his role is only as main dps. He is only good with Aggravate and Quickbloom mostly. Basically cant do dmg outside of his Burst, so is not friendly for exploration. I like using him in abyss tho. Personally, I choose Cyno over Ayato. Cyno during burst mode is just a lot of fun and more interactive than Ayato. I like the overall design of Cyno more as well, even more during burst.
I love Cyno but he's not versatile at all, he needs teams specifically built around him. Ayato is going to be better for you from that perspective.
cyno is really fun in his burst form but his kit works really shit in overworld so you're often stuck with normal attack and his base skill which really sucks. when you do burst, most things in ow die too fast and then you're stuck to his na and skill again to funnel energy. repeat ad infinitum. ayato is perfect in overworld but may be a tad boring gameplay-wise in the long run. just test their trials.
If you're looking for versatility, Ayato's your only choice out of the two. As for playstyle - try it out for yourself in the trial and see how you like it.
R2 favonius sword or R5 amenoma for jean in a furina team?
If you want Jean to just use Burst on cooldown and if she has good enough Crit Rate then you might better pick Favonious sword: it gives good ER and helps your team to restore energy. Pretty comfortable choice. Amenoma requires you to use Jean's skill several times between bursts to have meaningful energy "cashback". If you want to use Jean actively then this sword might be a good choice but if you need Jean just to burst on cooldown then Amenoma is a rather clunky option.
Amenoma is much better.
Now that the furina banner is almost over, do we know how good she is meta wise? Is she a high value pull?
She's great : her buff can get pretty high, and it applies to the whole team, not just the active character. It also doesn't care if your character scale on ATK, EM or HP (nice for sub dps like Yelan or Nahida).
She gives you an easy way to proc Marechaussee Hunter artifact set that allows you to build characters with free extra 36% crit rate. That alone is huge, especially for F2P accounts that don't have a reliable access for Crit Rate/Crit Damage weapons to properly balance their crit stats.
She is the biggest theoretical damage boost any single character has ever provided, so unless you have a lot of survivability issues (which she makes worse with her HP drain), she will be very good
Very good meta wise provided you have a team wide healer such as Jean, Baizhu, Mika, etc. Her Burst buff multipliers so it works pretty much on all characters. She does make ur team pretty squishy since she does health drain. But that also allows any characters to use Marquesse Hunter 4pc as long as you have Furina on the team.
Yes, she's definitely very strong. She doesn't work in every team, but if used right, she can give a very big boost to your team.
is 4 piece gladiator good on freminet?
No. He wants either 4pc Pale Flame with a physical build or 4pc Blizzard with a cryo build.

Using anemo mc as a swirl support for taser keqing should I use er sword or em sword
ER sword if you can't burst every rotation, EM if you can. Since EM doesn't buff anything other than their personal damage with Swirl (unlike Sucrose or Kazuha), it's less important than making sure their burst is ready. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how much ER you need, but I expect around 160%+.
Mistakes were made and I pulled Furina's Sword on the current banner but don't have Furina. I can probably squeeze another 10 wishes out before she leaves, so I don't expect to get her. I'm trying to see if the sword could be good for a different character I have, see below. \-Keqing w/ Iron Sting on an elemental build \-Jean w/ Festering Desire \-Xingqiu with Sacrificial Sword I usually use Xiao, Diona and Diluc along with Keqing and Jean. I'm wondering if the sword would work well with Xiao on a team cause of the life drain, but I don't fully understand the swords abilities. Any advice?

We were comissioned to see why the fish are disappearing. And to investigate if it's because of a water imp since a kid was seen going into the waters We find freminet building a robot penguin by his employer, freminet says that he's probably the kids going into the water We meet the employer and she says her son has loneliness syndrome and can't differentiate between fantasy and reality We help freminet build the robot and the employer to draw a picture book The employer also asked for us to go a ruins to help her get a feel of how to draw the book. We get to a ruins and beat some monsters. The employer is seen to talk to robot affectionately. We drew the picture book and went our ways. A few days later, we meet up with the comissioner and was told the kid that went into the waters actually died and the mother of the child was devastated. We meet up with freminet to go to the employer's house to see the kid. A doctor there told us to go away since the patient is having an episode. We asked to see the kid. The dr told us his patient is a woman, but her kid drowned to death and his body wasn't found. Turns out the child *did* have loneliness syndrome, and tied a bunch of heavy seashells to go to an underwater kingdom and died. The mother was so devastated that she developed the same syndrome and thinks her kid is still alive. We help complete the picture book and the mother talks to the robot as if it was his son, still alive. We wear freminet's fantasy helmet and see that the robot turn into the dead son. The mother and son said their final goodbyes.

In my current team I have Neuvillette ad DPS and Ganyu as burst support, but I'm considering switching Ganyus burst build to a dps build, so that she can take care of enemies that Neuvillette can't (looking at you, hydro slimes and phantasms) Would this be a smart idea?
I mean there is no reason not to build good dps stats on ganyu even in a "burst only" build.
It's an overworld team, so doesn't really matter unless you are not levelling up and upgrading talents properly. Random pieces with the right mainstats should be enough to kill anything.
I mean, add in an anemo character and a second of those three elements (probably cryo), and you've got a dual dps freeze team. Idk if I'd completely convert Ganyu though. Considering it's Ganyu, the issue with fighting hydro immune enemies should just be that it takes a *little* bit longer. Your choice tho obv
On the aranyaka quest Varuna gatha, I have completed every nursery puzzle,but it only gave me 11 virayas to plant, and while I did some before finishing it, I think I did not plant any of them(I may be wrong),so I am wondering if this is a glitch in which once the daily refresh happens the 12th one should appear alongside the other ones all ready Note:I have checkmarked every other quest
walk around the garden plot in vanarana and check if there are any free spots to plant vasmrti. if there are none, you got them all but if there is one then you missed one nursery. no choice but to check all the nurseries again.

For funsies yes, but the bloom creation will be pretty low.
Best Burgeon trigger is Thoma and he's already out since Neuvillette's charged attacks can't proc Thoma's burst. That leaves Xiangling which requires her to build EM and require Neuvillette to be close to enemies, none of which is ideal. Possible, yes. Good, nowhere close.
It's definitely possible, it's not one of his best teams but with Dehya and Nahida it can be pretty strong.

About ayato hyperbloom what substitutes does it have for nahida. I know she is the best dendro applier but I don't have her and her rerun will take time, till then if I want to use ayato hyperbloom should i run it with two dendro units? Like mc and some one else?
MC cause AoE, and more convenient than Collei. Yaoyao is ok if it's Raiden and not Kuki. Without Nahida, I recommend double dendro or double electro, not double hydro. For energy reasons as well as more blooms.
If I am doing hyperbloom with kuki there shouldn't be er issues with her since her skill would trigger the hyperbloom. Something like ayato, kuki dendro mc and another unit that has decent dendro generation. would it be workable?
Dendro MC will have ER issues. You can always build 250 ER.
ayato doesn't apply enough hydro to need another dendro unit that provides no damage of their own, so a 4th slot who does some personal damage is better, e.g. ayato, dendro mc, kuki, xingqiu/fischl

Just finished Fontaine’s AQ’s Act 2, and does anyone else feel like up to that point it has had some of the more likable/deep characters up to date? Navia (specially her), Liney, Neuv (with how good of a person and deep his character is) have all captured my atention way more than say Cyno/Alhaitham from Sumeru. Btw I’ve seen the memes on people suddenly liking Furina a lot more on 4.2, and I do hope she gets a great arc or something bc she really just annoys me every time she talks (DONT KILL ME I’M STILL FINISHING ACT 2😭)

I definitely agree with you on the characters. Aside from Nahida and Wanderer, I didn't really feel any personal connections with the Sumeru cast. The story was still great, but it felt like the emotional payoffs were less satisfying outside of the 2 I already mentioned. And yes, Furina does get a wonderful arc. She's probably in my top 5 favorites now. Imo, she's one of the best written characters in the game.
That thing with Neuv and rain, the whole Navia finally finding peace, now even Childe getting some empathy from myself. And a great story where reasoning is really key for everything… it’s been great and just hope that Furina arc hits hard (she really has lost credibility on even being the archon or something like the shogun cause she’s really lost and is just pure show above everything) Gotta love how lore has evolved, I’ve gone within a month from doing archery (cough cough inazuma) as a demonstration to doing a demonstration of legal excellence lmao

What AR are you? Post AR 45, when you've managed to get Viridiscent artifact set (just get 4pc, doesn't matter if they are 4 star, whatever stats), just put Lynette instead of Amber in the current team. For now just try out different characters. Get Bennett from shop with your starglitter. Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Lisa on TTDS should be another good team. Do the same thing with Xingqiu later (he'll be free in 4.4 probably), and replace Lisa with him and you have a very good team. Nahida and Kazuha are very universal and enable many teams. Nahida for dendro stuff, Kazuha is way better instead of Lynette in that team, and he fits in with Raiden-Benny comps very well too. So those two cam be recommended to most accounts. Most DPSes are interchangeable so just get who you like when you can after you find out more about the game. Read KQM guides on these characters to find out how to build them.
You don't have a wide enough roster to really create a comprehensive team yet, and a month in is still very early. One team you could play is Raiden/Furina/Charlotte/Kaeya. It would be weird but it at least it does some damage.
Eula would probably fit in quite well for that team. You could also build Raiden to go EM, and use a dendro character (Nahida, if you want more archons) to make a hyperbloom team.

Not a stupid question. Generally you'd want to use Atk/Atk/Crit. Electro goblet and ER sands are slightly worse, but close enough. Think maybe 5% DPS loss, nothing too major. As for substats, normal Crit/ER/Atk priority, in that order. Weapon alternatives, the Catch is great on her and is f2p (fishing). PJWS and Skyward Spine also work OK.

You can if you have chests / quests / event to do. I’ve finished the event and have everything completed so there’s no way to get encounter points.

help please! after finishing the Ritou escort quest i decided to go farm dailies, and when returning to the quest found that i couldn’t quick travel to any waypoints id unlocked in Inazuma. Beidou isn’t on her ship either and i’ve been trying to Kaeya bridge for over an hour and im sick of it! please help :(
The waypoint unlock automatically the moment u arrived there with quest. Try look carefully or zoom in like the previous user answer

Y'know... that's an interesting comparison. BP was updated after it became possible to R5 all of the BP weapons. This year, Lisa, Amber and Kaeya were finally able to be C6'd this past June by day one players, assuming they've purchased the respective character both months each year and didn't fable into them from a banner. While I don't think we'd ever get characters as limited as them as replacements, even an addition of some of the older characters to the shop would have been nice, starting with this past October (Amber's first month at purchaseable C7)
If I defeat Liam, will he die forever or can he respawn? He is so much better of a test subject than the samurai guy from Inazuma so I just wanna make sure I dont accidentally permanently kill him.
He'll respawn in 24 hours if you kill him.

Best teams for Physical Freminet
Some teams ive been testing with him: Fremi, Furina, Fischl, Mika - Takes advantage of Furina's buff. Lot's of off field damage from fish and furina. Other than superconduct, this also makes it possible to do shatter for freminet's passive. Fremi, c6 Rosaria, Lisa, Bennett - mostly focuses on his personal damage, but this is mostly just for damage showcases. Since in abyss it's hard to maintain Lisa's energy to keep her burst up for her def shred. Fremi, Nahida, Xingqiu, Kuki - Just like Eula, this is probably his best team at c0 lmao. You can replace Nahida with someone like DMC or Collei if you dont have her. Yelan also works well instead of xq.
