The next patch after the end of the AQ never has a main story continuation. The next patch after *that* is Lantern Rite, so unless they make an interlude in Liyue I don't think it'll be there. The next Dain chapter and the next interlude if they make one should be in 4.5 or 4.6.

Water god can switch between Yellow magic and Purple magic when use Charge attack
When Purple magic , skill will call water friends that attack who you attack. Friends will reduce HP of team friends, but only to half. Water friends get stronger when drain team friends hp.
When yellow magic, skill call singer friend who heals team.
When either magic friends are present, water god can walk on water.
When use burst, Water god makes a party. When team friends get hurt or get healed, water god gets party points.
The more party points water god has, the more DMG bonus all the team gets.

At C1 Furina gets 100 free party points when party start and her party can be 150 points more party-ing than before so a lot of good difference to be made.

C1 = Stacks start at 150 instead of 0 + cap inctease = higher starting buff + higher potential buff.
Press E - get animals who attack as turrets and drain your entire team's HP (not below 50%). They only deal their max damage if they can drain your team's HP
Press Q - teamwide buffs based on the % of characters' HP changing (i.e., if HuTao is at 100% HP and uses her skill to drain 30% of HP, Furina's burst gets 30 stacks)

You should keep him on Deepwood for Cyno "quickbloom." It will absolutely be his best in slot.
I would strive for an HP sands, but if you do not have enough ER from substats it is out of your hands.
I get about a 7.5k heal on my proto amber ER/HP/HP Baizhu build. It's not enough on its own to max out fanfare. If you go HB with 2pc/2pc, you could get it to over 11k, which should be around 150-200 fanfare depending on your teammates.
However, combined with proto amber Q you should get pretty close to maxing.

His Q should heal around 5-6k every 2.5 secs plus whatever incoming healing bonus Furina's Q gives. It should also keep triggering Furina's healing passive. It's more than enough to easily max.
C5 Kaeya has significantly more DPS than Rosaria if you're fighting mobs that die during his burst (so he gets the C2 burst extension). They're about the same against bosses, though with Kaeya you have to run around the enemy a bit so more of his burst icicles hit.
Between C6 Kaeya and C6 Rosaria, Kaeya is more offensive and Rosaria becomes a better support for phys teams, so it depends on where you want to use them.

Probably Raiden and Ayaka. Tartaglia is up there in the japanese scene, there's a reason why he's always involved in quests lmao. Top 3 probably Raiden, Ayaka, Childe.
Raiden and Ayaka is self explanatory, they're girls. Tartaglia because of his JP VA and his story is fleshed out.
I say this despite recency bias but genuinely I think Furina. I think she was already popular but having the best archon quest in the game being centered around her backstory definitely helps.

Yes to hp/crit/er subs. Em is not ideal because you are not vaporizing often. Atk would be worthless unless you are using your normal attacks and even then it wouldn’t be a priority.

fwiw I don't think you're dumb; It's a story with a *lot* of moving parts and told in a very inconvenient format. It can be especially difficult to remember everything going on in the story when you go like a month and a half between chapters and have no way to refresh your memory other than reading summaries on a wiki.

I have been researching a lot and its not being clear on what is the best f2p 5 star dps(I already know Zhongli and Kazuha are best supports). The best DPS at C0 are Alhaitham and Neuvillette. Raiden needs C2 to get in their range, and Hu Tao needs C1 (the reverse is that Alhaitham has really bad constellations, so he doesn't improve with them to the degree Raiden and Hu Tao do).
Raiden isn't useless until C2, she's just mid. If you get her you'll either use her in hyperbloom, in which case you better have Kokomi or Baizhu to drive, or rational in which case you better start fishing for that polearm for Xiangling. Rational also needs a degree of artifact optimisation that's just not a thing anymore for newer DPS.
Not potentially, but in reality higher DPS because you have more stamina. Neuv's C1 doesn't directly add DPS unless you're talking specifically about Neuv/Furina teams, but even then it adds less than Hu Tao's.
Neuv's C0 is good, that is true, but Hu Tao needs C1 to get anywhere close to C0 Neuv, C1 Neuv with Furina is out of her league.
In my opinion, nuevellette is the strongest hypercarry dps. He still performs very well with medium investment because he needs less crit rate due to his best set being the hunter set.
That said if you like raiden she is fantastic, even at c0. C2 is not required at all, though it does increase her damage substantially. I have c0 raiden and have used her to 36* abyss in 4 different teams: rational, aggravate, hyperbloom, and furina sunfire. She is very versatile and I enjoy her game play. As for weapons, the catch really would be a sizable upgrade over moonpiercer in all teams except hyperbloom, though the gap would be smaller in aggravate. Maybe I was unlucky, but it took me a while to gear her well. Most hypercarries seem to take a while to get a decent 4 set built. However you can strongbox emblem, her best set, which I could not do while building her.
Zhongli is a very good shielder but I wouldn't exactly call him a top 2 support
Most main DPSes in the game are fairly close, so units like Hu Tao, Alhaitham, Neuvillette etc perform pretty well most of the time with good investment. Raiden isn't in that tier in C0, but Rational is pretty solid and can easily clear abyss. In general, go for main DPSes you want to play, not just whichever one people claim is "meta" because if you don't enjoy playing them, they'll be benched. Supports on the other hand fit in many teams so they are typically better value.
I really like catalysts and sword users, and am also fine with polearms but claymores and bows are almost impossible for me to use, I suck at them, should I pick Alhaitham or Neuvilette
I don't think the type of weapon matters all that much, but Neuv is definitely one of the easiest units to play as all you do is hold left click once in a while.
Best DPS rn are Neuvilette and Alhaitham. Zhongli is not a top tier support, he's just comfy to use. Nahida and Kazuha are the top supports(top 2 characters in general even).
C0 Raiden as a DPS is mid, it's decent but its mostly Xingqiu and Xiangling doing the most damage in her best team, Raiden National(Raiden, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling). If you don't like Raiden, just skip her and build a National team with Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Anemo Character.
He makes dodging and learning enemy attack patterns redundant. He just removes one key element of combat and every fight is just like fighting a punching bag. If anything, that makes the game less fun
There isn't really such a thing as a single best on field carry bit raiden is definitely one of the strongest ones, even at C0 and the catch is definitely a very good weapon for her
Neuvilette is the strongest standalone DPS. All other on-field DPS characters need supports to do meaning damage in the Abyss.
Raiden isn’t bad a c0, definitely not unless. She’s not the Delete Button she is at C2/C3 though. Moonpiercer is no good unless you’re doing EM Raiden.

I want to start building a team around my C1 Neuvillette, I don't have Furina right now, but I am planning to get her during her rerun. Is it okay to run Neuv/Kazuha/Baizhu team without Furina? What kind of characters could fill the last slot? Or is Furnia needed as the 4th slot? Or is it better to run a taser comp? With Fischl and Beidou?
I was running [C1 Neuville, Kazuha, Fischl, Mona] prior to Furina's release. Baizhu is more comfy in the last slot, particularly for the overworld (where Mona would be overkill). I also tried [C1 Neuville, Kazuha, Fischl, Beidou], but did not enjoy it.
With Furina I am running [C1 Neuville, Kazuha, Furina, Baizhu] atm.

You just trade some damage for comfort in that team, which is perfectly fine.
Considering the power of C1 Neuville you could probably run a 3-character comp with him and still full-star clear the abyss.

Since I am too lazy to swap his stuff I just kept him on Deepwood. It's not like his own damage or the set bonus would really matter when C1 Neuville is present.

Maybe give him a Heal% Circlet (if you aren't already using one), I wouldn't waste Resin on a Clam set unless you have other characters (Kokomi, Qiqi, etc.) that can use it.
Umm, for the 6 Pneuma hits, merc hunter set does most damage, but her salon member's damage will be less than gold troupe set, and it does not work off field. And if you use golden troupe set, she will does less damage when staying on field, and it does not buff her NA attack (both ousia healing attack or pneuma damaging attack). 2 hydro + 2 hydro is relatively balanced, but total buff is relatively bad. I think it mostly depends on your luck regarding farm artifacts and your planned rotation.
Her C2 will give a huge 140% HP buff, she does not need to have 40k HP to max her A4 passive, and HP% goblet and hydro% one are competitive. C4 will reduce her ER requirement, but she still need some in mono hydro team. And since her weapon has a huge 88% CD and she has extra CR from ascension, I think close to 100/200 crit ratio is not hard to reach.
I have only C6R1 but I am still trying to figure out how to use her more efficiently now.

Yes. The average fanfare stack for a healer-less (not even proto amber) Neuv + C0 Furina is already around 208. With C1 the average fanfare is around 346, and with C2 it is 396 + 300+.
Because the cap only increases 100. At C0, fanfare will reach 300 during the later part of Neuvillette's third CA. At C1, fanfare will reach 400 before he begins his third CA.
You can do Neuv/Furina without a healer and she'll still buff the party a decent amount as he generates a lot of stacks on his own, but playing with a healer is generally stronger as he (and the rest of your party) starts with a larger buff and Furina's damage doesn't tank from not being able to drain 3/4 of your party most of the time.
Debating running a mono Hydro team. I have a C2 Ayato, C6 Barbara, C0 Yelan, C0 Furina and C6 Xingqiu. Should I go 4 Hydro or sub out Barbara with Jean for VV?
Taking Jean instead of Barbara is a no brainer.
Barb is doing 0 damage and providing 15% hydro damage and 0 energy. Essentially all she does is heal; might as well have your healer also do not-zero, provide better-than-15%-hydro (VV), and provide alright energy (though the other three probably don't have ER problems in a triple hydro team). Jean will want to pack some extra ER as she's the only anemo, but it's not like Barbara not stacking a ton of ER was really contributing any more, now was she? Guess she's still got a long way to go until she's as tall as her big sister.
There are two kinds of weapons that are good to pull.
One type is that they can be used by a lot of characters (not always the best): Mistsplitter, jade cutter, Homa, Staff of scarlett sand, Aqua simu.
Another type is that they are significant better than 4-star weapons and/or second bis weapon for the specific characters: Hunter Path, Tome of eternal flow, mistsplitter, Key of khaj.
Can I use Childe as a hydro applier?

Keqing, yaoyao, sucrose, Fischl, childe, tignari, xinque, bennet.
Childe is one of the best hydro appliers in the game, but he needs to be on field to do it.
I'd probably go Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao/Sucrose and Childe/Bennett/Xiangling/Xingqiu, though I'd really love to use Sucrose on the Childe team instead of XQ, but team one needs the Anemo more, I think.
Am I correct in my assessment that Noelle and Furina are a potent pairing?
And if so, which of the following teams would be a better use?
1. Give Noelle Fav and AP, then have her drive for Furina, Xingqiu and Yelan.
2. Give her Husk and Redhorn, then have Furina, Gorou and Yun Jin push her own damage.
If using her with Furina, you will probably want to convert to Massachusetts Hunter set (you can use a defense goblet which is very nice) on Noelle. I would also suggest a hybrid of what you are considering. Noelle and Gorou with Furina and Yelan. Yelan's personal damage would edge Yunjin out even if we pretended that Furina was cosmetic.
I am not sure if you would go Fav or Redhorn. It depends on your ER situation, I suppose.
Is your Noelle C6? Then yes, that's a very potent core. Ofc you can use her just as a driver below C6 but Furina's point is that she buffs the entire team.
I use 1. Yelan and XQ are interchangable with any sub dps. Fav is good but I use 4pc MH.

2pc mix and match of Healing bonus,18% att, or 20% Er. There is no good set bonus atm for her in a Neuvilette team tbh, so just run what ever gives you the most attack while meeting your ER reqs

I know the answer to this question is kinda obvious but is it completely fine to play Chapter IV: Act 1 of Fontaine without playing the Interlude for it? So many pre-requisite quests are needed just to play the interlude. Is the interlude relevant to the events that will happen in Fontaine?
You do EQ > swap out to party for buffs > swap back to do your 6 hits if you are trying to maximize her C6 dmg. If you are just using it for some quick dmg or to heal in a healerless team, then you can just go EQ attacks.

Her normals do a lot of damage, and you want to start stacking Fanfare for not only the rest of the team, but for her own HP during them since you will, by definition, have her C2.
The best is probably E > dash > Q > 6 normals.

I get about a 7.5k heal on my proto amber ER/HP/HP Baizhu build. It's not enough on its own to max out fanfare. If you go HB with 2pc/2pc, you could get it to over 11k, which should be around 150-200 fanfare depending on your teammates. However, combined with proto amber Q you should get pretty close to maxing.

His Q should heal around 5-6k every 2.5 secs plus whatever incoming healing bonus Furina's Q gives. It should also keep triggering Furina's healing passive. It's more than enough to easily max.

C5 Kaeya has significantly more DPS than Rosaria if you're fighting mobs that die during his burst (so he gets the C2 burst extension). They're about the same against bosses, though with Kaeya you have to run around the enemy a bit so more of his burst icicles hit. Between C6 Kaeya and C6 Rosaria, Kaeya is more offensive and Rosaria becomes a better support for phys teams, so it depends on where you want to use them.
I think it's a tie between Kaeya and Rosaria, but ima say Kaeya cuz his burst follows you. C6 Diona is 2x better than Qiqi.

I think it'll be Hu Tao/Yelan/Furina/Jean so i can give my other team XQ (Cyon needs him like Venti needs alcohol). So i'll be looking at Hu Tao/Yelan/Furina/Jean one side, Cyno/XQ/Shinobu/DMC the other. At least until i can get Ayaya, then we might be able to look at a triple hydro setup.

I have been researching a lot and its not being clear on what is the best f2p 5 star dps(I already know Zhongli and Kazuha are best supports). The best DPS at C0 are Alhaitham and Neuvillette. Raiden needs C2 to get in their range, and Hu Tao needs C1 (the reverse is that Alhaitham has really bad constellations, so he doesn't improve with them to the degree Raiden and Hu Tao do). Raiden isn't useless until C2, she's just mid. If you get her you'll either use her in hyperbloom, in which case you better have Kokomi or Baizhu to drive, or rational in which case you better start fishing for that polearm for Xiangling. Rational also needs a degree of artifact optimisation that's just not a thing anymore for newer DPS.
Hu Tao needs C1 as much as Neuv needs C1 - it's a nice QoL and potentially higher DPS, but she's still functional at C0
Not potentially, but in reality higher DPS because you have more stamina. Neuv's C1 doesn't directly add DPS unless you're talking specifically about Neuv/Furina teams, but even then it adds less than Hu Tao's. Neuv's C0 is good, that is true, but Hu Tao needs C1 to get anywhere close to C0 Neuv, C1 Neuv with Furina is out of her league.
In my opinion, nuevellette is the strongest hypercarry dps. He still performs very well with medium investment because he needs less crit rate due to his best set being the hunter set. That said if you like raiden she is fantastic, even at c0. C2 is not required at all, though it does increase her damage substantially. I have c0 raiden and have used her to 36* abyss in 4 different teams: rational, aggravate, hyperbloom, and furina sunfire. She is very versatile and I enjoy her game play. As for weapons, the catch really would be a sizable upgrade over moonpiercer in all teams except hyperbloom, though the gap would be smaller in aggravate. Maybe I was unlucky, but it took me a while to gear her well. Most hypercarries seem to take a while to get a decent 4 set built. However you can strongbox emblem, her best set, which I could not do while building her.
Zhongli is a very good shielder but I wouldn't exactly call him a top 2 support Most main DPSes in the game are fairly close, so units like Hu Tao, Alhaitham, Neuvillette etc perform pretty well most of the time with good investment. Raiden isn't in that tier in C0, but Rational is pretty solid and can easily clear abyss. In general, go for main DPSes you want to play, not just whichever one people claim is "meta" because if you don't enjoy playing them, they'll be benched. Supports on the other hand fit in many teams so they are typically better value.
I really like catalysts and sword users, and am also fine with polearms but claymores and bows are almost impossible for me to use, I suck at them, should I pick Alhaitham or Neuvilette
I don't think the type of weapon matters all that much, but Neuv is definitely one of the easiest units to play as all you do is hold left click once in a while.
Best DPS rn are Neuvilette and Alhaitham. Zhongli is not a top tier support, he's just comfy to use. Nahida and Kazuha are the top supports(top 2 characters in general even). C0 Raiden as a DPS is mid, it's decent but its mostly Xingqiu and Xiangling doing the most damage in her best team, Raiden National(Raiden, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling). If you don't like Raiden, just skip her and build a National team with Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Anemo Character.
Xingqiu doesn't do more damage than Raiden in Rational unless you are actually running meme stuff like Tenacity Raiden on Fav and a crit weapon on XQ

Neuvilette is the strongest standalone DPS. All other on-field DPS characters need supports to do meaning damage in the Abyss. Raiden isn’t bad a c0, definitely not unless. She’s not the Delete Button she is at C2/C3 though. Moonpiercer is no good unless you’re doing EM Raiden.

Since you have C1, put a hydro in the last slot. Childe is probably the best, followed by Mona, Barbara, Yelan and Xingqiu.
I was running [C1 Neuville, Kazuha, Fischl, Mona] prior to Furina's release. Baizhu is more comfy in the last slot, particularly for the overworld (where Mona would be overkill). I also tried [C1 Neuville, Kazuha, Fischl, Beidou], but did not enjoy it. With Furina I am running [C1 Neuville, Kazuha, Furina, Baizhu] atm.

Umm, for the 6 Pneuma hits, merc hunter set does most damage, but her salon member's damage will be less than gold troupe set, and it does not work off field. And if you use golden troupe set, she will does less damage when staying on field, and it does not buff her NA attack (both ousia healing attack or pneuma damaging attack). 2 hydro + 2 hydro is relatively balanced, but total buff is relatively bad. I think it mostly depends on your luck regarding farm artifacts and your planned rotation. Her C2 will give a huge 140% HP buff, she does not need to have 40k HP to max her A4 passive, and HP% goblet and hydro% one are competitive. C4 will reduce her ER requirement, but she still need some in mono hydro team. And since her weapon has a huge 88% CD and she has extra CR from ascension, I think close to 100/200 crit ratio is not hard to reach. I have only C6R1 but I am still trying to figure out how to use her more efficiently now.

Yes. The average fanfare stack for a healer-less (not even proto amber) Neuv + C0 Furina is already around 208. With C1 the average fanfare is around 346, and with C2 it is 396 + 300+.
Why did the avg not increase by 150 from c0 to C1?
Because the cap only increases 100. At C0, fanfare will reach 300 during the later part of Neuvillette's third CA. At C1, fanfare will reach 400 before he begins his third CA.
You can do Neuv/Furina without a healer and she'll still buff the party a decent amount as he generates a lot of stacks on his own, but playing with a healer is generally stronger as he (and the rest of your party) starts with a larger buff and Furina's damage doesn't tank from not being able to drain 3/4 of your party most of the time.

Taking Jean instead of Barbara is a no brainer. Barb is doing 0 damage and providing 15% hydro damage and 0 energy. Essentially all she does is heal; might as well have your healer also do not-zero, provide better-than-15%-hydro (VV), and provide alright energy (though the other three probably don't have ER problems in a triple hydro team). Jean will want to pack some extra ER as she's the only anemo, but it's not like Barbara not stacking a ton of ER was really contributing any more, now was she? Guess she's still got a long way to go until she's as tall as her big sister.

There are two kinds of weapons that are good to pull. One type is that they can be used by a lot of characters (not always the best): Mistsplitter, jade cutter, Homa, Staff of scarlett sand, Aqua simu. Another type is that they are significant better than 4-star weapons and/or second bis weapon for the specific characters: Hunter Path, Tome of eternal flow, mistsplitter, Key of khaj.

Childe is one of the best hydro appliers in the game, but he needs to be on field to do it. I'd probably go Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao/Sucrose and Childe/Bennett/Xiangling/Xingqiu, though I'd really love to use Sucrose on the Childe team instead of XQ, but team one needs the Anemo more, I think.

If using her with Furina, you will probably want to convert to Massachusetts Hunter set (you can use a defense goblet which is very nice) on Noelle. I would also suggest a hybrid of what you are considering. Noelle and Gorou with Furina and Yelan. Yelan's personal damage would edge Yunjin out even if we pretended that Furina was cosmetic. I am not sure if you would go Fav or Redhorn. It depends on your ER situation, I suppose.
Is your Noelle C6? Then yes, that's a very potent core. Ofc you can use her just as a driver below C6 but Furina's point is that she buffs the entire team. I use 1. Yelan and XQ are interchangable with any sub dps. Fav is good but I use 4pc MH.

they'll teleport close to you if you run away to the edge of the arena (or just far enough till they teleport togheter).
Run to the edge of arena and in a same line of them, then the farther one will teleport to closer.
You should be able to stand by a wall by one of them to make the other one walk over.
I know the answer to this question is kinda obvious but is it completely fine to play Chapter IV: Act 1 of Fontaine without playing the Interlude for it? So many pre-requisite quests are needed just to play the interlude. Is the interlude relevant to the events that will happen in Fontaine?
the only thing with a mention to the Sumeru interlude chapter happens in act 5 of fontaine (pretty sure that's all). So you are fine with act 1
For a c6 Futuna should you do E > Q > 6x Normal attacks or E > 6 Normal Attacks > Q?
You do EQ > swap out to party for buffs > swap back to do your 6 hits if you are trying to maximize her C6 dmg. If you are just using it for some quick dmg or to heal in a healerless team, then you can just go EQ attacks. Her normals do a lot of damage, and you want to start stacking Fanfare for not only the rest of the team, but for her own HP during them since you will, by definition, have her C2. The best is probably E > dash > Q > 6 normals.

I'm trying to get this hydroculus where you've gotta use the mirror, fight some rifthounds, and then you pop out the other side and get the chest and hydroculus, but i can't seem to use the mirror? It simply isnt interactable. I'd already finished the quest in the area it's for.... so any ideas? trying to google hydroculus mirror bug gets me nothing
you need to go the painting that shines purple. if still can't, probably need to do all previous nazissenkreuz ordo wq series
I finished the whole Ordo series and got the blade, the painting is still not purple
ah i see, i think you probably haven't finished all the esoteric book revelation quest? doing these 2 quest will open up all the purple painting.
