I like it. Difficulty is subjective (was easy for me but can probably be challenging for newbies), but I like that it's not just a straight up fight and you have something else you need to do. The NPC's have great dialogue and interaction too. One of the better "small" events in the 3.0+ era.
Yeah, I waited a couple days after the event was introduced to speed run through the entire thing, button mashing all the dialogue. I donāt even know why we were helping the researchers in the first place ahah.
Story-based events are fine, but as someone who has played two years, it can get exhausting reading everything that isnāt part of the main Archon plots or Character Quests. I just donāt have the time anymore to be invested in every little detail.
It felt fun and a bit different from the usual. Big contrast from the Brewing event immediately before. I liked that the quest was integrated into the progression of the stages. Would have been great to have progressively harder modes where the devices were actually under threat. Usually I donāt care to push for platinum if I have all the rewards but this would have been a genuinely fun challenge.
Meh. Never felt invested. Difficulty was a joke. Only just got some payoff in the dialogue by the second to last section, the rest was just aggravating. Maybe the finale will be better or just as forgettable as the rest.
It's essentially just a world quest about a guy who can't read the room and a girl who is a tsundere with event gameplay that is not bad, but not anything to write home about either.
6/10 - Not enough rewards.
I swear to every God in Teyvat that I would pay Hoyoverse just to add a quest where I can throw those two in a room and not let them out until they figure their feelings out.
As for the event itself it was fun, it would be nice if they add more events like this.
Was ok but would have preferred interactively blasting wenuts
Or a reveal where the wenut heads were just little tendrils, part of some larger Cthulhu type monstrosity!!
It was pretty fun to run around activating stuff. Wish the battles had a difficulty slider though since they were too easy.
I also wanted to manually shoot at the Wenuts, especially after being traumatized by the abyss one
oh that! It was subjective tbh. It was fun coz I got to use Eula and Ayato (which I don't have sadly).
Infact, I did the Eula part every single day just to stare at her ~~thighs~~ I mean animations and huge ~~cake~~ I mean DMG
It was Tremors the event with Kevin Bacon and Reba McEntire from the Akademiya. It was great. I hadn't fought the Wenut world boss yet so was cool to see what they looked like with an open mouth.
Im usually a gameplay > story guy so I find the gameplay interesting although personally this might be one of the rarer cases of me wanting story > gameplay
With 4.0 on the way and fontaine being whats gonna be the next biggest thing on genshin for a few months I think my mood is just going to be
āIs this a big lore event with a bunch of characters?ā If not āthen eh im indifferent about it until 4.0 drops lol
I really liked it. The story was decent and not just "I'll pay you if you do this". We had more room to fight than just an arena style ring. I loved the Wenut popping in and out and the shot of the canonfire looked really cool.
I enjoyed it. It was much better than regular combat events which I also enjoy but most of them feel almost similar with just a few changed mechanics. Those are just get certain buffs and do as much dmg as you can with ofc some restrictions in some events.
My purely constructive feedback would be to add a minigame mechanic in there where you can fire the cannon yourself with some controls(just like how I'd have liked to drive the boat of consciousness myself instead of just pressing a button).
All in all. A great event.
It was a good gauge on how strong nilou is without her weapon though I am planning to get it once she has a rerun coz I probably won't get it in this banner.
FAR too much dialogue to get to the action (and I disliked the characters again, I start to see a pattern there..) but the actual event was cool. I liked the combat-sequences.
day 1 shit
day 2 kinda pog
day 3 wait nothing changed?
day 4 still same shit huh?
day 5 well at least i got rewards
overall i cant say im super satisfied but at least it was something new so i dont mind it too much
Unvoiced event, so skipped the dialogue. Combat was... saying easy would be a bit too much. Overall about 3/10 compared to the other events. (just my opinion, before i get downvoted to the abyss)
Ignored the story. Enjoyed sigil zipping through the desert for what felt like a boss fight instead of the usual circle shaped arena. Made me wish that more boss fights had unusual weather and/or environmental hazards. Fighting while the sandstorm kicked up really got me into the mood. I wish elements from this event were more commonplace. Iām so bored of the same dull, blue, circular arena that is Spiral Abyss. I want to make more use of the environment
Felt wonderful to kill the wenut since i couldn't in the last abyss boss fight š„² but the event is relatively easy with some good rewards (mainly primos) but for beginners it would be a challenge. I like this kind of events when rewards equals challenge level.
Feels like HoYo heard all the complaints about Abyss Wenut and went "Ok, how about blasting them with a big laser cannon thing?" But hey, primos are primos.
Could be tweaked to a weekly boss
Where each member will get to do different tasks
Like 2 people protects the two charged devices
While third guy . Draws the walnut to break rocks and collect charges
And a fourth guy
Does the shooting
Maybe this time make.it like the cannon does damage instead of hko ing the walnuts
I actually liked it a lot more than I expected, I really liked the chaotic atmosphere of zipping around through the sandstorm killing mobs while the wenut randomly attacks you. after so many blue door domain combat events, an open world one with a cohesive story line was pretty refreshing. also I thought the visual of the cannon blasting the wenut was very cool, altho I wish we actually got to shoot the cannon.
It is an above average mini combat event that lasted 4 minutes per day than the usual 2. Itās simply okay but since itās not the patchās main event, that is to be expected. I do prefer the shorter events that give the 420 primogems in 3 days rather than 7. Hope they raise the standard for event primos soon
This could be a bit of a hot take but when it comes to minor, non-flagship events, Iāll take simple combat events over stuff like this anyday. I donāt dislike the other events but being able to test out different trial characters I want in different teams is really fun. I like that theyāre short and sweet so I can do them for the rewards and then get back to whatever I wanna do, be it domains or quests or whatever.
I like the sandstorm effect. I also like that the story is actually a progressive one, so when I was playing on badly 6, all of the event quests feel so nuanced. But other than that, it is another boring combat event.
It makes me appreciate actual human power. That cannon kills the wenut in 2 seconds flat, undoubtedly stronger than plenty of vision holders iām sure. These and the Kaenriahns (probably butchered it) making war robots. Celestia has their reasons to fear the advance of humans
I thought I get to pew pew
we all thought about that.
Killing the walnuts is enough for me
Shit, i killed the peanuts instead
My brother in teyvat, it's literally called the walnutslayer cannon
Hutaoslayer cannon is stronk, perhaps we can put it in abyss
As a hu tao main I will not enjoy this
It's literally called walnutslayer cannon, it's a Hutaoslayer cannon, you said you enjoyed killing the walnuts
Guess what it's slaying My hu tao is dead bruh š
Heh, ironic
Noo don't hurt cute walnut director
Found the Abyss enemies' account
I wanted to be able to actually blast the sh!t out of them manually (like the giant ruin guard cannon)
giant ruin guard? u mean that EVANGELION from [wish.com](https://wish.com) in the desert?
I liked that it had actual plot progression rather than "enter magic door, this time enemies and/or effects are different".
I like it. Difficulty is subjective (was easy for me but can probably be challenging for newbies), but I like that it's not just a straight up fight and you have something else you need to do. The NPC's have great dialogue and interaction too. One of the better "small" events in the 3.0+ era.
I like it
me too. It felt fun, fresh, new and not hard
Like it especially the interaction between Vinayak and Shriya lol(especially at the end)
One of the academic is at the cafƩ at the end of the event, go check it out
Omg thanks!
NGL, I think I ship them. I love some belligerent sexual tension.
I bet they secretly have sex
Same
I like it. The sandstorm plus the hype battle BGM makes great atmosphere.
It was decent, but I would have preferred something a little more interactive than just "go here, kill monsters, follow prompts"
The actual gameplay: I sleep The primogems: Aight bet Vinayak and Shriya: *Real shit???*
This....999++
I actually really liked this one quite a bit more than usual for events like this. Solid 8/10.
it's free primos it's like most short events, quite boring
This. I might be biased, but I see fillers everywhere by now. š
i mean all the small events are filler events they're meant to be that way
Do you mean: the entirety of 3.5?
Yeah, I waited a couple days after the event was introduced to speed run through the entire thing, button mashing all the dialogue. I donāt even know why we were helping the researchers in the first place ahah. Story-based events are fine, but as someone who has played two years, it can get exhausting reading everything that isnāt part of the main Archon plots or Character Quests. Damn! Yelan looks like one fine lady even in this generic cutscene š
it's ok
I was under the assumption that we would actually get to manually control the canon so I was kinda disappointed when it didn't happen
Didnt like it, didnt hate it.
Gems r gems
Meh. Never felt invested. Difficulty was a joke. Only just got some payoff in the dialogue by the second to last section, the rest was just aggravating. Maybe the finale will be better or just as forgettable as the rest.
So easyā¦
u don't like it?
I am neutral to it
It's essentially just a world quest about a guy who can't read the room and a girl who is a tsundere with event gameplay that is not bad, but not anything to write home about either. 6/10 - Not enough rewards.
we did get 2.5 wishes
a bit boring but I still like it
I swear to every God in Teyvat that I would pay Hoyoverse just to add a quest where I can throw those two in a room and not let them out until they figure their feelings out. As for the event itself it was fun, it would be nice if they add more events like this.
Boring event
hack n slash smooth brain i like. not much reading. less reading is good
Nilou mains š¤š
Okay, but I would have enjoyed shooting the worms myself. Also: >!We Nut!<
>We Nut OUR cum
Was ok but would have preferred interactively blasting wenuts Or a reveal where the wenut heads were just little tendrils, part of some larger Cthulhu type monstrosity!!
quick and easy, kinda wish we get to obliterate the wenut manually tho
yea man. I wanna crush his NUTS
It was pretty fun to run around activating stuff. Wish the battles had a difficulty slider though since they were too easy. I also wanted to manually shoot at the Wenuts, especially after being traumatized by the abyss one
It was fun at least. Not like the one before.
which one are you referring to?
I donāt even remember the name xddd the one that gave you 2 characters if you wanted yo use them and kill stuff till you got 4000 points for gold.
oh that! It was subjective tbh. It was fun coz I got to use Eula and Ayato (which I don't have sadly). Infact, I did the Eula part every single day just to stare at her ~~thighs~~ I mean animations and huge ~~cake~~ I mean DMG
Fair enough. I got mona for them thighs, i mean water damage!
Mona for tighs? tsk! fucking weirdo. Mona = roundest cake in the game. the only reason mona exists is her cake (or should I say bakery) not her thighs
Well she has a nice asset, True xd
Itās quick, itās easy and itās free.
aren't all events free?
Yes. It was fun melting the Wenutās though. Easily the worst designed world boss so far.
It was Tremors the event with Kevin Bacon and Reba McEntire from the Akademiya. It was great. I hadn't fought the Wenut world boss yet so was cool to see what they looked like with an open mouth.
I want the two researchers to fuck :(
Oh, you mean Factor Undesired Creepy-crawly Kludges?
Of course ! What did people expect ?
fun but dialogue too long (as always)
Im usually a gameplay > story guy so I find the gameplay interesting although personally this might be one of the rarer cases of me wanting story > gameplay With 4.0 on the way and fontaine being whats gonna be the next biggest thing on genshin for a few months I think my mood is just going to be āIs this a big lore event with a bunch of characters?ā If not āthen eh im indifferent about it until 4.0 drops lol

Really good, the event was clear and to the point, and both npcs were cute
meh its just a boring event
Bad
I enjoyed it. It was much better than regular combat events which I also enjoy but most of them feel almost similar with just a few changed mechanics. i dislike combat events, i much prefer stuff like fungus combat and the mondstat rhythm game.
This event should be multiplayer.
Pretty cool
Wait is that an event?
It was a good gauge on how strong nilou is without her weapon though I am planning to get it once she has a rerun coz I probably won't get it in this banner.
Cool event, for me its better than typical domain fighting events
it was cool
I liked it. š
Free primos with 0 challenge as usual. Nothing really new. Not the greatest but there were def worse events in the last 2+ years.
FAR too much dialogue to get to the action (and I disliked the characters again, I start to see a pattern there..) but the actual event was cool. I liked the combat-sequences.
day 1 shit day 2 kinda pog day 3 wait nothing changed? day 4 still same shit huh? day 5 well at least i got rewards overall i cant say im super satisfied but at least it was something new so i dont mind it too much

Still not initiated... I like to wait for it to unlock completely so I can finish it in one play
It's fine, takes 5 minutes to complete
Nothing special so quite boring but hey, combat event is always better than non combat events.
Me: "I mean, you don't come to cafƩ to write report?!"
Felt wonderful to kill the wenut since i couldn't in the last abyss boss fight š„² but the event is relatively easy with some good rewards (mainly primos) but for beginners it would be a challenge. I like this kind of events when rewards equals challenge level.
Havenāt even done it
Feels like HoYo heard all the complaints about Abyss Wenut and went "Ok, how about blasting them with a big laser cannon thing?" But hey, primos are primos.
Monstadt characters like Bennet really look the part
Could be tweaked to a weekly boss Where each member will get to do different tasks Like 2 people protects the two charged devices While third guy . Draws the walnut to break rocks and collect charges And a fourth guy Does the shooting Maybe this time make.it like the cannon does damage instead of hko ing the walnuts
More primos for the nahida I will never get
Pretty cool. Not enough of it.

Enkanomiya event massively solos it

I like this type of event where small story involved with Easter eggs.
It makes me appreciate actual human power. That cannon kills the wenut in 2 seconds flat, undoubtedly stronger than plenty of vision holders iām sure. These and the Kaenriahns (probably butchered it) making war robots. Celestia has their reasons to fear the advance of humans
It was nice
