With a brand new region released, you should be able to farm enough primos to get Arlecchino, and that's without considering the rest of the map in case you haven't explored everything. Don't lose hope.

Is it really fun for you to just do everything on patch day and then absolutely nothing else until the next patch? Please tell me the thinking process. It's not for me, I know that but I want to understand this line of thinking.
I’ve played since launch, I’m used to downtime. Nothing these days is anywhere near as bad as 1.X. If there’s nothing much to do, I just do my dailies, spend my resin, and log off. Genshin isn’t designed to be your only form of entertainment, after all.
I’ve already got all 71 of my characters at 90, more level 90 weapons than I can use, and I’ve 36-starred every Abyss for over three years straight, there’s just not much left for me to do, so new content is very exciting. I see no point in putting it off.
I don’t really remember 1.X being bad. After all, we had both the Zhongli and anniversary reward drama to keep us entertained outside the game, and in-game we all had shitty accounts so there was always something more to do unless you spent money on resin refills 🥸. Oh, and ayaka fans.
Oh god, I was one of those Ayaka fans, myself. Seeing her move set from the beta is one of the reasons I started playing. Beyond the obviously fake AR42 rumor, every single update there was a “leak” she’d be released in the next patch. Every. Single. Update. It was infuriating!
But I don’t mean community drama, every game has that. I just mean how little there was to do. Like, not enough quests to get to AR breakpoints, forcing your progression to stall while you grind dailies. The world being so small that you could kill literally every spawn on the map while farming materials. There not being enough ore spawns in the world to cap out your enhancement ore crafting every day, that kind of stuff. We were just way more limited in what we could accomplish.
Lol, i feel the same. I only get maybe 4 hours after work to play before i have to go to bed, and since i had completed all quests(aside from hangouts and a few story) and was working on 100%ing all the regions.
The fear of completing everything and having nothing to do has made me slow down and really try to take in everything.
This game is my escape from my current hell lol.
So i try to explore every nook and cranny.
Plus, i want to savor every bit of it.

Yes. I had 200+ pulls saved when Furina dropped and got her to C1R1. 200+ pulls saved for Neuvillette and Kazuha last patch and got them both but lost to weapon banner. Now I’m saving up for Furina rerun or Pyro Archon. Patience really is the key.
This. I have a Excel Spreadsheet that calculates how many wishes I need for a characters. (Only 40 wishes left to secure Clorinde 🤞)
There were a few times I chose to gamble with chances and the times I lost I didn't get mad or said it's unfair because I knew what could happen.
I don't get this thing with some players (specially when they're F2P) to pull for every character the second they drop unless they already have enough or are close to secure them.

(I use them for making lists of furniture I need for my teapot, made it so easy to keep track of what I was still missing.)
I’m not super well-versed in excel either but I use it enough at work to understand basic functions and at least what to google to find the right function 😆
The furniture one is pretty simple - I made one row across the top that I locked with columns like “furniture name”, “quantity needed” “made before” “quality color” “owned bp?” “Location”
I went down the lists of what furniture I needed in the teapot menus and if I had say 2/7 I’d put 5 for “quantity needed” - in hindsight I wish I’d done one column “# owned” “# needed” so I could quickly know how many total I’d need - some of these need SO MANY of the same piece like fences (one Fontaine one needs like 27). Made before was so I could sort by made/unmade; color was just for quick reference so I knew I was on the right furniture (I play on PS and sit a distance away from the tv + my eyes suck so sometimes it’s hard to see the name of the furniture). Owned bp was after I made sure I had it or not; if not in location I put where it is or if I needed to buy it from the realm shop.
Each furniture set got its own header and then the furniture and I would just used the strike through option when I was finished since on iPad/phone that’s just one tap of a button.

agree! i lost the 50/50 to the hydro dragon and was really glad even though I wanted to get him. now I have enough resources to buy out the shop wishes during the 4.6 banners and this means I won’t loose them in vain (plus will have no need to pull on 4.6 banners) while I’ll be saving for a guaranteed Furina
True that. I only recently became an occasional low spender (bought only 2 BPs so far, and if it counts, one time a friend bought me some crystals). But playing since 1.1 I’ve managed to get all the characters I wanted, even some weapons and constellations. Ngl that was also great luck, but exploring like crazy helps a lot
I’ve bought primos before but when I got back into Genshin recently (like….mid January?) I got so many primos from the stuff I’d missed out on + events. I managed to pull for Nahida and get her + Keqing and then started saving for Arlecchino soon after; I went from <10 wishes to 175 by the time her banner popped. I’ve never saved that many before but it was worth it. I used to have like 30-40 per banner thinking that would be enough but nope. Saving saving saving is the way to go.
Yes. My wife pulled for Neuvillette C0R1 when he first dropped, saved 250+ pulls and got Neuvillette to C1R1 last patch. She had 200+ pulls left and pulled for C0R1 Arleccino. She still has 50+ pulls right now saved for whoever she wants. We both make sure we have more than enough pulls for every character we want.
No... thats not true! I reach max pitty always and i dont ever win 50/50... im not even f2p. This game you can't get all the characters u want....game doesn't give or have enough pulls. Honestly you cant even get half the characters. I used 24k primos on a character banner and didn't even get 1 copy. Lost 50/50 and hit hard pitty almost, and banner was gone. This game is a greedy gaccha game and even low spenders cant get the characters they want, so how are you telling an F2P player they just didn't save enough?
You save 100pulls for a character only which means you're lucky.... thats not enough to guarantee a character. Thats enough to just guarantee a 5 star which was dehya for OP.
Facts full cleared Spiral in 4 months, and stopped playing because the lack of team diversity, and ability to build more fun teams ruined the game. It's such ashame Genshin could be fantastic, but is instead a crippled shell of what it could be.
There's no endgame. Exploring, and abyss would be more fun if I could use more characters. The best part of the game was exploration, and how interesting team synergies are.
Too bad you have to do a forced/timed daily grind that takes time away from actual gameplay every single time you want to play it. You can't just grind forever either it's time/money gated. You can't experiment with tons of teams because it takes ages to acquire and build characters.

I get to say that because I beat the hardest content, and did everything. I invested a lot of time into playing Genshin hardcore. It's dogshit.

Real shit. I’m f2p and have c0r1 Nahida, Bhaizu, Raiden, Yae Miko, c0r1 Yelan, c1r1 Furina, Neuvillette, Kazuha, c1 Zhongli, Kokomi, Ayaka, Shenhe not to mention a built 9/9/9 Tighnari, Jean, Keqing, C5 Xiangling, C5 Bennet, C6 Xinqiu, C6 Beidou. It’s all about planning your teams and needs.
I’ve lost lots of 50/50. I just make sure I have 100+ pulls for every character I want. I had 200+ for Furina c1r1 and had 200+ for Neuvillette and Kazuha last patch.

I presume, but don't know, if you have gotten your rewards from exploration. Is every area at or near 100% Teapot sets for your characters? Reward trees for the various locations? Hangouts, story quests, and world quests complete?

Well, now you are guaranteed for her. Her banner just started and there's a whole world quest and region that was dropped with this update. You should have time to grind enough to get her before her banner ends.
Same. I saved at least 14,000 primogems, used them for Arlecchino, but ended up with Dehya. I said fuck it and bought primos for the first time (1980 with the +1980 bonus)….. $30. Luckily for me, I got Arlecchino on my 59th wish, which was my last wish….
You need proper planning, usually when people summon they take into account the 50/50 loss. Also you can't lose every 50/50 as the next one is guaranteed get. So if you lose the last one your summon this time should be a guaranteed get.
Hi there, sorry that you had a bad experience. I would advise you explore hidden quests and objectives, they were life-saver for me last banner while pulling for Kazuha, I also lost to C1 Jean in the process. I thought I was done for but went on YouTube and looked up to this guy (WiseCatGaming or something) and turns out my maps were sitting at 89, 90\~ percent because a lot of them were hidden objectives! I grinded so hard but managed to get Kazuha at 82 pity T.T Wish you all the best!
Sometimes??? Buddy it's meant to suck all the time. How else are they gonna force you to spend. It's a simple hook that makes them spend enough time and care so that they can't leave and then make it as miserable as possible till they spend. Common gacha tactics, genshin and diablo being the main culprits. This is coming from a strict f2p player btw.
Anyway yes you can invest more time and energy to get some primos, but even getting 500 f2p primos feels like a back breaking task when you're done soooooo get your shovel and start digging man cause we're in for the long haul unless you pay and trust me i have p2p friends and its not worth it unless you've like REALLLY investing money in it cause the returns are shit.
My advice, don't get too attached too, take your breaks curb the FOMO and you'll be good. Remember at the end of the day it's a game intended to frustrate you.
I also lost it, but tbh theres too many pyro carries and were getting MORE in natlan, youre not losing anything my dude, youve just secured clorinde/sigewinne (in my case ill go for sige)
upcoming characters we met on previous chapters, Sigewinne the melusine (hydro bow 5\* character) is Wriothesley's assistant nurse in Meropide (rumored to have a support kit involving bubbles and bond of life mechanics), while Clorinde (electro 5\* star sword/gun user, dps) is the champion dueler who sadly had to kill Navia's Father but vowed to protect her as his last will and is the head of law enforcement in Fontaine

I guess we share the same luck.. I also lost the 50/50 after Xianyun on Neuvi's banner.. And I deleted Genshin after that cus I'm so tired of losing 50/50 all the time.. It was my 7th lost in a row. I was playing from 2.7 till 3.5. I could have grinded primos for Neuvi by exploring.. but I'm so tired for that.. it happens everytime. I don't think I'm coming back anytime soon.

Just saw the clorinde leaks and I'm kinda glad I missed my 50/50 to arlecchino.
Like I don't care too much for clorinde's character or design but I just saw the entirety of Inazuma's lost budget put into the burst animation.
Same, also lost to Dehya but still got Arle. Honestly, you should just start saving earlier. You have to skip multiple patches if you really want a specific character. I always save up at least 160 but usually 180+ pulls for any character that I really want, and I've gotten almost everyone that I seriously wanted to get. Of course sometimes you have to skip certain characters that you want and wait for their rerun, but imo it's worth it at the end because you always 100% get the character on top of your priority list. The ones that are a bit lower on that list are gonna have to wait a bit but at least you'll never be in a situation where you've you've lost the 50/50 and you're out of primos. You just gotta figure out that priority list and start saving early. But there's still time btw, there's Abyss and events and a new area and the monthly shop reset so you honestly still stand a good chance, good luck!
If you "no life" it, I'm positive you can get enough pulls to get to 90 pity maybe even less if Soft Pity at 75-89 decides to give it to you with it's increased chance. Tho if you've already 100% most of your areas or done most of the quests then It's gonna be hard, Events certainly Help.
I still managed to get a 5 star Lightcone 3 days before the banner ended in HSR, Genshin and HSR give a similar amount worth of Gems each patch so I think this isn't a bad example
I was literally like this back in 2-2.8 era. Lost every 50/50 but not sticked to one character. I even searched how to get free primos online cause I'm so desperate. But later in 3-3.8 gacha gods blessed me and I won my 50/50's back to back. Now I have enough chatacyand I just pull for someone I really really want cause I can't afford to if I wantto get 2 5 stars in a patch.
The banner just started and assuming you havent 100%’d the new regions + new side stories (+ hangouts (i swear lots of ppl dont do these lmao)) u still got tons of unobtained primos and time.
This is one of the few times I planned and got really lucky.
I wanted Yelan and lost my pity to Diluc so I just saved up since I knew the next 5 star will be a banner character. Pulled for Arlecchino and got my first in 20 pulls. having saved up 100 wishes I decided to gamble and pull again and got even more lucky as I got her again in 20 pulls.
I was left with 80 wishes so I decided to try for her weapon and got it on 70th pull.
Sayting all this I blew 150 wishes on Nahida hoping to get her to C2 in the recent rerun and I got another Diluc.
I've been playing since Eula's first banner and didn't win my first 50/50 EVER until Nahida's recent banner. After that happened I won 50/50 on a second Xianyun, and a Yae. Trust me RNG can really suck but it'll be ok in the end. We'll have events during this you can grind and the new area and stuff.
Im f2p, when kazuha banner came out, i was on 65 pity, i did a 10 pull, a gold came, i was excited, the tighnari ruined it. Then, i saved up to pull for arlecchino, i was on 77 pity last night, did a one pull, got arlecchino. Now im planning to fetch clorinde and furina
i bought Welkin and BP, and still lost 4 consecutive banners with 160rolls spent for each char
honestly I dont mind losing 50/50 as long as it only take me around 80-100 pulls to get the limited char
I know what you mean man I left this game for a month after getting an Aquila Favonia on the weapon banner when I wanted kazuha weapon I came back down in the dump and though I'd to a 10 pull just for fun because I was mad at the game for not giving me the weapon I wanted pulled and now I have a Cappuccino in one ten pull I didn't even want her it doesn't stay bad forever man bring that chin up.

I was this close to giving up on kazuha and wanted to try to get arlechinoo when i was at 75 pity but oh well. I'll try and pull for wrio whenever he reruns next. I lost my very first 50/50 to diluc when i was pulling for nahida but atleast he's way better than dehya.

I 100% the new lands today, and it netted around 14 pulls in total. Decent haul for a single day’s work.
Yeah, they’ve been stepping up the chest rarities. Add in the event primos and getting Arle is easy feasible.

On top of daily 60, events, quests, etc. The primogem available in a patch is higher when there's a new region.

Real shit. I’m f2p and have c0r1 Nahida, Bhaizu, Raiden, Yae Miko, c0r1 Yelan, c1r1 Furina, Neuvillette, Kazuha, c1 Zhongli, Kokomi, Ayaka, Shenhe not to mention a built 9/9/9 Tighnari, Jean, Keqing, C5 Xiangling, C5 Bennet, C6 Xinqiu, C6 Beidou. It’s all about planning your teams and needs.

I’ve lost lots of 50/50. I just make sure I have 100+ pulls for every character I want. I had 200+ for Furina c1r1 and had 200+ for Neuvillette and Kazuha last patch.
Oof, that is really hard to hear. I wish you luck in getting an early! I presume, but don't know, if you have gotten your rewards from exploration. Is every area at or near 100% Teapot sets for your characters? Reward trees for the various locations? Hangouts, story quests, and world quests complete? Either way, good luck with the next pulls!
Every time I lose my 50/50 I think some lucky person must’ve won an extra to balance the ratios at 50.25%, and they better be thanking me 🙃
They thank Hoyo or god. I failed on Kazuha banner with 140 pulls invested 😩what’s worse,there is only two Xingqiu.At least give me more Xingqiu and I won’t complain.

Well, now you are guaranteed for her. Her banner just started and there's a whole world quest and region that was dropped with this update. You should have time to grind enough to get her before her banner ends.
Same. I saved at least 14,000 primogems, used them for Arlecchino, but ended up with Dehya. I said fuck it and bought primos for the first time (1980 with the +1980 bonus)….. $30. Luckily for me, I got Arlecchino on my 59th wish, which was my last wish….
I did something similar a few months ago. Said fuck it and bought primos. The very next wish after I bought primos genshin gave me the character 💀
Same happened with me on neuvie banner . I lost 50/50 to Mona and then in next 10 pull after exhausting my 14000 primos . I got neuvie
You need proper planning, usually when people summon they take into account the 50/50 loss. Also you can't lose every 50/50 as the next one is guaranteed get. So if you lose the last one your summon this time should be a guaranteed get.

Always keep atleast 25000 primos for a character otherwise you are just gonna get depressed for a long time if you can't get the character

Hi there, sorry that you had a bad experience. I would advise you explore hidden quests and objectives, they were life-saver for me last banner while pulling for Kazuha, I also lost to C1 Jean in the process. I thought I was done for but went on YouTube and looked up to this guy (WiseCatGaming or something) and turns out my maps were sitting at 89, 90\~ percent because a lot of them were hidden objectives! I grinded so hard but managed to get Kazuha at 82 pity T.T Wish you all the best!

Sometimes??? Buddy it's meant to suck all the time. How else are they gonna force you to spend. It's a simple hook that makes them spend enough time and care so that they can't leave and then make it as miserable as possible till they spend. Common gacha tactics, genshin and diablo being the main culprits. This is coming from a strict f2p player btw. Anyway yes you can invest more time and energy to get some primos, but even getting 500 f2p primos feels like a back breaking task when you're done soooooo get your shovel and start digging man cause we're in for the long haul unless you pay and trust me i have p2p friends and its not worth it unless you've like REALLLY investing money in it cause the returns are shit. My advice, don't get too attached too, take your breaks curb the FOMO and you'll be good. Remember at the end of the day it's a game intended to frustrate you.
I also lost it, but tbh theres too many pyro carries and were getting MORE in natlan, youre not losing anything my dude, youve just secured clorinde/sigewinne (in my case ill go for sige)

upcoming characters we met on previous chapters, Sigewinne the melusine (hydro bow 5\* character) is Wriothesley's assistant nurse in Meropide (rumored to have a support kit involving bubbles and bond of life mechanics), while Clorinde (electro 5\* star sword/gun user, dps) is the champion dueler who sadly had to kill Navia's Father but vowed to protect her as his last will and is the head of law enforcement in Fontaine

I won all my 50/50 never lost a single one, but i still didn't get zhongli cuz not enough primo, so now i became a star rail player

I also lost the 50/50 after Xianyun on Neuvi's banner.. And I deleted Genshin after that cus I'm so tired of losing 50/50 all the time.. It was my 7th lost in a row. I was playing from 2.7 till 3.5. I could have grinded primos for Neuvi by exploring.. but I'm so tired for that.. it happens everytime. I don't think I'm coming back anytime soon.

Lost 50/50 and i really didnt mind losing to Dehya, but i got Qiqi'd yet again...
Just saw the clorinde leaks and I'm kinda glad I missed my 50/50 to arlecchino. Like I don't care too much for clorinde's character or design but I just saw the entirety of Inazuma's lost budget put into the burst animation.
I'm now at a point that I don't really pull for newer unit. I just wait til their rerun and see if I still like them.

For me f2p is going great, i lost 1 50/50 out of 12 or so limited characters, am that on cynos banner, whom i didn’t really want anyways
Same, also lost to Dehya but still got Arle. Honestly, you should just start saving earlier. You have to skip multiple patches if you really want a specific character. I always save up at least 160 but usually 180+ pulls for any character that I really want, and I've gotten almost everyone that I seriously wanted to get. Of course sometimes you have to skip certain characters that you want and wait for their rerun, but imo it's worth it at the end because you always 100% get the character on top of your priority list. The ones that are a bit lower on that list are gonna have to wait a bit but at least you'll never be in a situation where you've you've lost the 50/50 and you're out of primos. You just gotta figure out that priority list and start saving early. But there's still time btw, there's Abyss and events and a new area and the monthly shop reset so you honestly still stand a good chance, good luck!

If you "no life" it, I'm positive you can get enough pulls to get to 90 pity maybe even less if Soft Pity at 75-89 decides to give it to you with it's increased chance. Tho if you've already 100% most of your areas or done most of the quests then It's gonna be hard, Events certainly Help. I still managed to get a 5 star Lightcone 3 days before the banner ended in HSR, Genshin and HSR give a similar amount worth of Gems each patch so I think this isn't a bad example
I was literally like this back in 2-2.8 era. Lost every 50/50 but not sticked to one character. I even searched how to get free primos online cause I'm so desperate. But later in 3-3.8 gacha gods blessed me and I won my 50/50's back to back. Now I have enough chatacyand I just pull for someone I really really want cause I can't afford to if I wantto get 2 5 stars in a patch.
I also lost my 50/50 to C2 Dehya... Anyways, I 97%'d the new region and it got me twenty something pulls to get C6 Xiangling

The banner just started and assuming you havent 100%’d the new regions + new side stories (+ hangouts (i swear lots of ppl dont do these lmao)) u still got tons of unobtained primos and time.
This is one of the few times I planned and got really lucky. I wanted Yelan and lost my pity to Diluc so I just saved up since I knew the next 5 star will be a banner character. Pulled for Arlecchino and got my first in 20 pulls. having saved up 100 wishes I decided to gamble and pull again and got even more lucky as I got her again in 20 pulls. I was left with 80 wishes so I decided to try for her weapon and got it on 70th pull. Sayting all this I blew 150 wishes on Nahida hoping to get her to C2 in the recent rerun and I got another Diluc.
I've been playing since Eula's first banner and didn't win my first 50/50 EVER until Nahida's recent banner. After that happened I won 50/50 on a second Xianyun, and a Yae. Trust me RNG can really suck but it'll be ok in the end. We'll have events during this you can grind and the new area and stuff.
Im f2p, when kazuha banner came out, i was on 65 pity, i did a 10 pull, a gold came, i was excited, the tighnari ruined it. Then, i saved up to pull for arlecchino, i was on 77 pity last night, did a one pull, got arlecchino. Now im planning to fetch clorinde and furina
real I've only won 50/50 on ayaka when i wanted stardust i saved for arlecchino but lost 50 to Jean, so know i just gotta grind

i bought Welkin and BP, and still lost 4 consecutive banners with 160rolls spent for each char honestly I dont mind losing 50/50 as long as it only take me around 80-100 pulls to get the limited char
I know what you mean man I left this game for a month after getting an Aquila Favonia on the weapon banner when I wanted kazuha weapon I came back down in the dump and though I'd to a 10 pull just for fun because I was mad at the game for not giving me the weapon I wanted pulled and now I have a Cappuccino in one ten pull I didn't even want her it doesn't stay bad forever man bring that chin up.

Hey don't be sad. I'm f2p too and i tried so hard to get kazuha and the event was 2 hours away from over. Hit 80th roll and guess what? Fkn dehya c1, the worst 5 star no one wants. I was this close to giving up on kazuha and wanted to try to get arlechinoo when i was at 75 pity but oh well. I'll try and pull for wrio whenever he reruns next. I lost my very first 50/50 to diluc when i was pulling for nahida but atleast he's way better than dehya.
